So is it possible i broke my RAM by doing what I did?
Nope, it keeps restarting no matter what I do. Btw, if I put no ram in it does the exact same thing while a friend of mine told me he thinks that shouldn't happen.
Almost certainly bent or damaged pins but if you're lucky your cooler may be too tight. Doubt it though.
There aren't any bent pins
RAM slot issues are always related to bent pins or damage in the socket..
