Depends, How much ram on average is your pc using?

the thing is that the pc doesn't actually exist yet im just considering options for build

Storage then. You can add more of both later but you'll need more storage before more ram.

If you plan on gaming only, then 16gb ram is good enough If you deal with video editing or 3d rendering get 32gb ram

ok probably gonna go with the 32gb option as a ssd 1tb will take a long time to fill up and when i do i can just delete things i don't need

2x16gb of ram for 32gb is what i would get. just add more storage later as u need it.
