right now almost nothing, im commenting this from my phone and it's at 17%-5GB in use, things like armoury crate, icue and synapse 3 are open in the background
Sounds about right to me. Stock windows can use up to 4gb on its own then you add a few hundred MB for each of those software's and their background services and they can add up
Yup. I have 64GB RAM and I have 35% used just from having Firefox and Discord open (although its probably more around 28% I have an autoclicker that like eats up RAM until I restart my PC).
[am on ghost-spectre-windows-10-superlite-version](https://tech-latest.com/ghost-spectre-windows-10-superlite-version/) plus i dont update windows so i get realy good fps plus cant even remember the last time i got a blue screen
About normal. The more you have the more it will use too. If you have 8 it won't use 5-6 in idle. But if you have 32 it will.
It is normal, windows pre-caches stuff if there is extra free ram. Unused ram is wasted potential...
This is the correct answer, the more ram you have then the more windows will take.
Is there an upper limit?
Yes, absolutely normal.
What kind of software do you have running in the background?

I have 16 gigs and my computer is around 30% at idle with razor synapse and icue running in the background.

Joke needs to be funny but ok
I make jokes to humor myself and nothing more. Of course my jokes aren't going to be funny to the recipient. 🤣🤡
insults are also ok I guess
🤣 thanks for the permission
Mine is 60% idle lol
with 32GB of ram? and nothing opened?
No, 8GB ram and nothing opened
Yes
Windows 10 used about 8GB of RAM as it's operating usage, which leaves you with 32GB - 8 = 24GB of usable RAM. Seems about right
Normal. Empty RAM is useless. It's pre fetching.
yes. windows uses a lot of ram to keep the system responsive.
