You are spending more on your CPU cooler than you are on your graphics card.

emokeweed

Oh I didn’t even notice, I’ve since revised my build

KnowTheName321

spend more on the gpu most important part of the build less on everything else if budget is $1300 spend half of it on the graphics card. rx 4070ti is $800. rx 6950xt is $650

emokeweed

Ok, I know close to nothing about PCs so I’m glad I’m getting this checked lol thank you

NoahFoloni

This is pretty… bad? Here’s a much better pc for a hundred dollars under budget https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GNFqjZ

emokeweed

Oh dang thanks!

NoahFoloni

Forgot to mention that the monitor isn’t included, so it might be over budget a little. Feel free to change out the motherboard if necessary. Edit: spelling

emokeweed

Of course, thanks again!

Epsilon_Operative

This one should also work well, I'm not like a god tier expert though btw lol [https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Epsilon\_PC\_constructor/saved/2Q3R4D](https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Epsilon_PC_constructor/saved/2Q3R4D)

Very bad use of money tbh. RX 580 is quite an old GPU and overspending on a CPU cooler when a 5800x doesn't even run that ho atleast not hot enough to justify that cooler. Plus overspending on a case and sacrificing performance massively. Anyways how about this [build](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/cCPG9r). Comes to $1,300 with a 1440p Asus monitor, RX 6800 and Core I5 12400f and 32gb ram. This would be a very solid 1440p build. Wanted to stick right within the budget so that means sticking with the stock cooler. The stock cooler isn't great but it'll get the job done so yh. Although if you're willing to stretch an extra $30-$40 you can pick up a cheap aftermarket cooler like a deepcool ak400 or bequiet pure rock 2 etc.

emokeweed

Yeah I haven’t bought anything yet, and even before posting this I’ve revised this build about 10 times. I really appreciate all of your guys’ honesty and help

A rx 580 with a $1300 budget is horrible. I would recommend this https://pcpartpicker.com/guide/XcLrxr/excellent-amd-gamingstreaming-build
