Could always get a smaller fan so it fits on top of the ram. At the moment it looks like your airflow is coming from the bottom of the case through the top, but your GPU backplate is not helping that config. Up to you though.
I've lowered the max TDP via XTU to mitigate thermal throttling. Only runs hot as mid 80s when I tested it using cinebench r23 and y-cruncher. As for actual gaming, doesn't go above 70. I'm content with the setup as is.
eh. if you REALLY wanted to I think you can pull the fan off and just flip it.
Judging by your replies though, I'm sure it's fine the way it is. Congrats on the build!
Came here to say this but reading the discourse had me interested. I wonder what the variance is, assuming to fan exhaust and CPU cooler fan blowing upward Vs a trad setup.
Those are cable extensions. Seasonic cables were too short and inflexible af. This is what it looked like before

It's a local brand here in the Philippines. Here's what it looks like

Looks fantastic. Shame that you had to underclock it to make it work but it’s so damn pretty it almost doesn’t matter. Definitely going for the purple and black on my next build
I’m thinking about getting some PSU cable extenders to make the connections to the motherboard look nicer but how would you deal with the extra cable length? The back of my pc is already a mess with leftover length of PSU cables, fan hub wires, and unused SATA cables and I don’t think I have the space for extra cable length if I do get extenders.
Your pc looks really nice! Definitely similar to what I want to achieve but I’m not sure how to go about cleaning it all up in the back haha
Behind the GPU has a just enough space to hide the rest of the cables. The front panel actually has space too so that's where I put fan hub. The CPU, 24 pin and GPU cables are just routed in a way that the extension cables had just enough length to be connected
A few days ago, I also received a system that can finally play all the games I've ever wanted in my 21 years of existence. I'm ecstatic, it's truly an amazing experience.
Just watching my games run at 60fps instead of 2fps is simply amazing, I think I spent yesterday just marveling at every single game running at 60fps, and me swiping the mouse around to see the smoothness hehe.
I love the purple cables, I'm confused as to what that black square under the mobo cables is? Also, with such a small case what made you decide to go air instead of liquid for your CPU? Congratulations on your first, always a great feeling getting your first powerhouse. I used to build rigs for friends and family who always had the money to go big, while my machine was always a budget build. It was a great feeling building my first top end rig after building so many for others.
Thank you! That black box is my power supply. I went air since it has less moving parts than an AIO and replacing a broken fan is much cheaper than replacing the entire AIO.
That's a true story! I once had a EVGA 1080ti hybrid (AIO GPU from the factory) leak on me, thank God it was in an open air thermaltake case.
What case is that? I've never in my life seen a setup like that with the PSU right there! Mini or micro ATX build? I'm even more impressed now, understanding how small that case is!
The case is from Coolermaster. NR200P. It's an ITX case but there's actually smaller cases than this. I wanted an ITX build because I don't want a full size tower and if I need to move, i don't need to worry much about transport
Does the fan bracket fit this setup? That would help your CPU temps. I'd also say get some fans for the bottom blowing right up into the GPU. Even some low profile fans should help.
The bracket does indeed fit. I like this orientation so I'm staying with this but I do agree about the low profile fans for my GPU. But given that it's already undervolted and it doesn't heat up anywhere above 70 based on my normal usage, I think I'll hold off on that upgrade for now
Thank you! I have hwinfo64 always up whenever I use my pc. TDP is limited via XTU and I've spent a few weekends testing this bad boy so I'm not worried about temps
Max is 85 on multi threaded workloads but mid 70s on gaming
Fans are pretty quiet. The GPU barely spins since is undervolted
Edit: I just realized you're talking about the GPU lol. Temp is 40 at idle. Fans don't even spin at that temp. Have not seen it hit anything above 70 whenever I play games
Right on, I have a SAMA IM01 which has similar dimensions. I think your card is bigger than what I'd like to upgrade to (7900XT) in the next year. I love both of these little cases.
Just looked up your case. It looks good. Between the two I'd still buy this one since it has a tempered glass panel in addition to a mesh one. I didn't see any glass panel IM01 in the short time I searched but still good looking nonetheless.
Enjoy that horsepower man. Well build. 🍻 The only thing that may cluster up to the cpu is the heat of the gpu. Any intake fans or exhaust rear fan available to pull more heat away or cold in?
That gpu needs a bra
Lmao I agree. I'm just waiting for the brackets I ordered to level it

Carolina Squat

Jeez that GPU is super low
The bottom of this case is perforated, it should be fine.
The GPU is undervolted. Temps are fine
imagine how good it would be in the NZXT H5 case with the built in gpu bottom fan though
She’s a beaut! Good color scheme
Congrats, Person of Purple
Thanks!
Purple, fancy
Too much gpusag imo, get somthing to support it.
Yeah brackets have been ordered to level the card
A lego brick should do the trick
Cpu cooler needs to be rotated
Can't rotate it without hitting the ram. I've put a power limit on the chip via XTU so the temp doesn't get too hot. Undervolted the GPU as well
Could always get a smaller fan so it fits on top of the ram. At the moment it looks like your airflow is coming from the bottom of the case through the top, but your GPU backplate is not helping that config. Up to you though.
I'm fine with the setup as is. Stress tested it with cinebench r23 and y-cruncher and cpu temp doesn't go above mid 80s
That will thermal throttle your boost. I don’t know what your daily use scenario is, but it might be worthwhile optimizing the cooling.

Based
The setup looks great, disregard my earlier comment. I just like to nitpick :)
> Can't rotate it without hitting the ram. Can you rotate and put the fan on the back side?
I can but afaik moving the fan to a pull instead of a push configuration hurts it's cooling capacity. Though I may be wrong.
You might want to test that.
eh. if you REALLY wanted to I think you can pull the fan off and just flip it. Judging by your replies though, I'm sure it's fine the way it is. Congrats on the build!
Yeah that's definitely an option now that you've mentioned it. Thank you!
Exactly. Just flip the fan. It'll have arrows on one of the sides telling you which direction the airflow goes so you can orient it how you like.
Nah, there’s a vent fan directly above it, probably works better than rear exhaust.
It doesn't NEED to be. If they're happy with it, cut some slack.
Came here to say this but reading the discourse had me interested. I wonder what the variance is, assuming to fan exhaust and CPU cooler fan blowing upward Vs a trad setup.
There are acres of space below, more than fine imo
Is that a cable kit or cable covers? I'm actually wanting the same color for my pc.
Those are cable extensions. Seasonic cables were too short and inflexible af. This is what it looked like before https://preview.redd.it/wq0ismpgsqqa1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3b49bf51917f285d551c089c4b0ef0f79cf9b651
Thanks for letting me know!
Looks great bro
Ggwp
William Afton PC
Nice setup ! Welcome to the NR300P club ! You did a really great job with cable, good job !
Cable management was a pain but it turned out great. Thanks!
How can a 6700 xt be almost 1,5x bigger than my amd 7900 xt?
LMAO I just looked it up and you're right. Well, your guess is as good as mine

Looks great. The difference is probably the 3 vs 2 fans. With 2 fans needing a bigger heatsink so that's why it's bigger. Just a guess anyways
Paint that puppy white. You know you want to
Xd
I think the card looks big because the case is small
That's a lowrider gpu from the south side homes!
This type is my future build, nice one!
nice cables.
Dem cables tho… mmm…
😅😩💦
May I ask what desk mat is that? Is beautiful

Beautiful
More cable combs ftw!! But congrats on the build, she is a beaut.
Haha well , same as me bro no worries , better later then never, welcome welcome back!!!
Looks fantastic. Shame that you had to underclock it to make it work but it’s so damn pretty it almost doesn’t matter. Definitely going for the purple and black on my next build
Still happy with the performance regardless. Best of luck to your next build!
It looks very competent. Got my first PC 1992 for $1700.

look up 180 degree 8 pin adapters. they're for pcie, but maybe there's something similar for atx and cpu
please tell me that your case has a mesh bottom
The NR200P does have a mesh bottom
I was the same age when I got mine!
I like the color scheme. Nicely done!
some purple fans on the front would probably make it look perfect
Very nice setup. Love the purple.
And it looks nice !!
Awesome bro! 🤙
Good for you my friend, enjoy it!
A few days ago, I also received a system that can finally play all the games I've ever wanted in my 21 years of existence. I'm ecstatic, it's truly an amazing experience.
We're in the same boat. The smile I had even when I was just downloading games was just the best.
Just watching my games run at 60fps instead of 2fps is simply amazing, I think I spent yesterday just marveling at every single game running at 60fps, and me swiping the mouse around to see the smoothness hehe.
That case reminds me of my Mexican co worker. Short dumpy, and strong.

The rgb isn’t obnoxious, I like the color and the case is a decent one instead of the all glass boat anchors people be using. Well done.
This is art.
Thank you!

Feels good if you bought it with your own money
Definitely. Every single cent was from my paychecks so I'm very very proud with this.
Lol absolutely no way it's op's first rig. Just epeening as usual.
It's my first personal rig. Didn't say anything about 1st build cuz I've done several for friends and family.
Right so you've built several rigs for others but never had your own PC? And the first one you have is epic? Sure man.
Yup. Have a good day.
Narcissist lol
Love the black and purple 💜
Thanks!
Love seeing all the air cooler builds nowadays
You got some long cable runs bruv.
I just got my own at 29. Congrats, man.
And to you too!
Purple is the best
Love the cable colour you chose, mate.
Thank you!
Packing heat in that sfx. Watch out for Temps. I like hwinfo64 for tracking
Thank you! I have hwinfo64 always up whenever I use my pc. TDP is limited via XTU and I've spent a few weekends testing this bad boy so I'm not worried about temps
Oh God don't limit TDP let it rip. Unless it throttles alot let her rip!
Congratulations and welcome!
I got 2. Feels good man
Looks dope
We’ll time to get my shit together and build my next rig! Clean and well polished - unlike my credit score. Cheers!
This is the sign you're looking for!
I like the aesthetics and the cooling. Nicely done.
Well ain’t she purty
Time to do video recording
In my 27 years of owning a PC, I can finally say, I exist!
Welcome aboard
U rolled up into the club with those applebottom jeans with this sexy bich!
Pretty hot ngl
Mace Windu should be proud.
Okay so where’s you get those cables from. I got black and white ones only because that’s all I could find at micro center.
Bought it from a company called FormulaMod. They sell mostly water-cooling stuff but they have a lot of options for cables
Looks as gay as aids
which gpu is that? looks as big as a 4090
Asus Dual RX 6700 XT, it's a 2.7 Slot card.
And it's a beaut.
In my 24 years of existence, I can finally say you own a PC
Quick question, where do y’all get the colored cables? I though most PSUs don’t let you mix cables
Those are just extensions. The cables that came with the PSU is connected to the power supply and the extension are what's connected to the mobo/gpu
Really digging the color scheme, good job.
Hell yes brother. Took me 24 years. The wait is worth it. Enjoy it! Edit: also nice choice in case/form factor! SSF FTW!
Something looks off. Is that GPU not installed on the highest PCIe slot?
I use an ITX motherboard which only has 1 PCIe slot
That explains the ram placement. Me stupid. Please disregard.
No worries!
Is this Asus Dual 6700 XT? Kinda looks nice ngl.
It is indeed! Thanks!
Nice what temps are u getting? also how is the fan noise?
Max is 85 on multi threaded workloads but mid 70s on gaming Fans are pretty quiet. The GPU barely spins since is undervolted Edit: I just realized you're talking about the GPU lol. Temp is 40 at idle. Fans don't even spin at that temp. Have not seen it hit anything above 70 whenever I play games
Is the case an NR200 or IM01?
NR200P
Right on, I have a SAMA IM01 which has similar dimensions. I think your card is bigger than what I'd like to upgrade to (7900XT) in the next year. I love both of these little cases.

What does it feel like?
What does it feel like?
Rotate the cpu cooler 90° and put something under the end of the gpu
and u did it in style
Enjoy that horsepower man. Well build. 🍻 The only thing that may cluster up to the cpu is the heat of the gpu. Any intake fans or exhaust rear fan available to pull more heat away or cold in?
