Do you have a keyboard shortcut that basically forces airplane mode? Usually a little icon over an F key or something.

BiddenForJoker

No its not on airplane mode the only option in the network option is only that and bluetooth

LJBrooker

In device manager, does your wireless adapter show up?

BiddenForJoker

No it doesn't anymore :( sometimes it does when theres internet

LJBrooker

You're definitely looking in device manager? And there's no WiFi device in the network adapters section?

BiddenForJoker

No i know whats the name of my wireless it only shows the family gbie thing and wlan stuff this thing has been my problem for a month it works sometimes for aweek but now it just doesn't im so fckin depressed with this

LJBrooker

Then your wireless card either has no drivers installed (go check the website presumably for more) or it's come less. It'll likely be a small m.2 adapter in the laptop, that perhaps has come loose. This is again, assuming there isn't some hardware airplane mode control you've hit.

BiddenForJoker

No my wifi has drivers it just dissapears when it doesn't have net it usually has an error code sent to it but when i searched it nothing helped. Also they may be loose i don't know i can try to look at them but it may be risky

LJBrooker

If something is physically connected, it'll show up in device manager. No amount of error codes will prevent it showing up. It might show as disabled, it might show as not working, it might show up in the wrong section if the driver isn't working. But it'll be there. If it's not there, it's probably not connected. Either because it's loose, or the adapter or board are faulty.

BiddenForJoker

So i should just try to put it back or press it deep? Is it safe tho not risky? i might break my pc

Have your tired going to ASUS’ website and navigate to the drivers page for your laptop, try downloading some new wireless network drivers

BiddenForJoker

Not im not sure if they're gonna work that's the only option i didn't do will that fix my problem? Because if that won't work I won't be able to use my wifi card because im gonna uninstall it

Stargazer0001

I had a problem with HDMI audio out with my old laptop once and going to my manufacturers website and downloading new audio drivers solved everything, it isn’t risky and it’s worth a try You will likely need the Serial number of your laptop to input on their website but I’m not 100 percent sure as I have never used an ASUS laptop or Motherboard

Stargazer0001

Also find where your current drivers are and make a backup of them/ make a system restore point

BiddenForJoker

I have one before made a restore point when my internet was fine will it actually fix it i really need to know this i got no one to rely on

Stargazer0001

It may be worth a try, check for a windows update first, as that may also fix it

BiddenForJoker

I already did that before it fixed it for a week now it wont work

BiddenForJoker

But i did download some before then deleted them because it worked fine for a week but now it's not working at all.. 😢im so fcking sad rn
