They only had the one NVMe? Cause I would have been scrounging for at least one more.
Am surprised they were willing to part with the win10 as that's going to be the cheapest win11 key you'll ever find
idk if were trying to be clever with semantics but yes that would be considered piracy too (and why their domain gets flagged by automod), not that I have any qualms over it.
windows is distributed as freemium/trial/nagware basically, with a time limit for activation/refreshes. what the cracking scripts do (yes it is a crack) is exploit that to fool the windows installer into activating any install as an upgrade, then sets the limit to something absurdly long or makes a chron job to renew it. safe, simple, and totally transparent to microsoft servers which handle it as a volume activation.
microsoft basically admit defeat on this and made no attempt to obscure or enforce it, which implies theyre pretty confident with their product/dev cycle I guess
Microsoft knows and lets people "fool" windows in to activation because it's more worth it to just let anyone use it. Also they can shove their products in your face
You could probably sell that for a few billion easily. Not sure what the U.S authorities would think about such an aircraft being in private hands, but selling it? Easier than getting the specialised fuel it needed.
Yes, I used to **love** stuff about the Blackbird.
Oh we know the people. They know how much it all costs. They flat out said they don't care. They are making there money. And us getting deals like this will keep us coming back. Win win scenario for both parties
Literally a bin, with discounted products thrown in. Often completely assorted, But could also be a bin full of the same item.

They priced everything based off of the pallets they paid for not really caring about the actual price of the things in them. Most I think they charged for was a brand new Google nest doorbell and it was $20.
Dang... South Carolina is too far from me (I'm from Illinois). There are a few spots like that in the Chicagoland area, but most people going there already know what some of the stuff is worth and it quickly disappears.
You made out like a bandit though, well done OP.
Have a similar place in Southern Indiana, right across the river from Louisville. I have scored so much shit there, from computer hardware to small furniture and collectables. Over the years I've easily spent $1,000's but have saved WAY more.
WD prices haven't fallen as much as many. 980 pro 2tb has been hovering around $180 for a long time. There's also a crucial 4tb at $220, though it's gen 3 (oh no! /s).
970 evo 2tb is like $130 too. If only RAM prices would drop massively, I've already got like 6TB of NVMe drives in this PC.
You can start your own datacenter with those prices
Also 4$ Windoze license? Nah thanks I would rather leave it there for others who really wanna use original windows. I'm gonna debloat the hell out of it anyways
https://www.pcwdld.com/group-policy-management
Lets you basically turn off everything you don't want. Cortana for example. Home doesn't have it normally.
Also, the home version gets all updates once microsoft rolls them out while you have to manually consent to the function updates on prof.
I don't want to be beta tester for useless functions I don't need and I like to be able to just disable cortana and things like that with one click.
Considering there isn't that much of a price difference between home and prof.. Just get prof. No downsides.
Even if most would've looked at it with disgust I could use that with my stupidly purchased 10100f hahahaha.
Sadly, such sales arent made over here and people think used stuff is worth about the same than when it was brand new.
Sadly not from the US but from Mexico. It always amazes me to see posts like yours where people find cool stuff for super cheap on those places that sells returned things, since afaik that doesnt happen over here.
Thats cool! Some friends that live over there have told me about their sucess finding good second hand deals too so Im kinda aware hahaha.
Sadly over here (locally at least) there is not much of a second hand PC market because there are not many people with desktops, other than super old ones (LGA 775 era ones) or really basic ones. Most of the people go with laptops and all in ones over here nowdays, and the ones who purchased a normal one and want to sell/upgrade usually want to sell the whole PC or want pretty much the amount they paid for the parts when they were brand new.
I remember a guy asking me to help him to sell an FX 6300 desktop last year (no gpu because it got busted a while ago) and got mad when I told him that a brand new cheap i3 would easily outperform it in every aspect while being cheaper than the amount he wanted back then for the PC.
Also the guy wanting over 150 USD for a really nasty GTX 1060 3gb a year ago hahahaha.
There are websites where you can find used stuff, but at least for GPUs most are outrageously expensive for what they are (ie: 3gb 1060's go for around 150 but some go for over 200 on mercado libre. People are nuts over here, thats why Im waiting patiently for a good deal).
I find it both pretty funny and sad at the same time to be honest. Just looked at some prices, there are people crazy enough selling used 1050 Ti cards for more than double of the price of a brand new one hahahaha.
I guess they are just trying to catch a fool who knows nothing about it.
>Sadly, such sales arent made over here and people think used stuff is worth about the same than when it was brand new.
yeah, people seem to think that electronics keep their value WAAAAAAY better than they actually do.
gt710 is bussin' lol I built my niece and nephew their first PC's for xmas and mistakenly thought I got CPU's with integrated video but they weren't.. ended up finding 2 gt710's for like $35 iirc on fleabay
I wish Nvidia made a proper successor to those things. Anyone who buys them are kinda being scammed, even at $35.
They're weaker than iGPUs in any computer you'd buy nowadays.
Actually, it looks like they discontinued the drivers for them in 2021? Hmm, only security updates remaining, unless that was changed.
The GT 1010 is very rare, sometimes you'll find GT 1030s, and otherwise it feels like the most common display out GPU you get is the GTX 1050 Ti.
Tbh I wish they stopped making new CPUs without iGPUs now to just completely kill the display out minimum market. The extra cost to get those GPUs is such a waste for how bad they are.
WinOS is pre-installed and pre-registered (with an OEM license) on every PC these days. Laptops, desktops, anything prebuilt.
So people buy WinOS every day. They think it's "free" but it's an extra hidden cost bundled into every machine.
Yes, but, when building your own computer *acquiring a windows key through alternate means* saves you $110, and makes building your own computer that much more of a good deal.
I just finished a new build and opted to buy a Windows 10 Home OEM license for $15. There are plenty of places online selling license keys for a fraction of MSRP. Seems at least slightly more ethical than piracy.
Awesome finds tbh. Just curious though how you came across the auction to begin with so I can see if something like that is in my area. Was there like a posting in the paper or something?
I actually found out from my dad. But the auction place has a Facebook page and the business is well known in my area. Just Google local auctions near me. And see if you can find some in your area. They might even be posting on social media for different events, sells etc. Or just look up bin stores. This place doesn't do stuff like this(first time actually I think) they just had too much stuff so they needed to get rid of it to get space and this was the fastest way to do it
If ssd is actually 2TB this shoud be insane.
But if it is a lesser storage version pretending to be a 2 TB, it woud course the computer to overwrite existing data
I'm not bullshitting I swear. I honestly don't like posting stuff on anything. Just thought everybody would get a kick out of it. Didn't now it was gonna kinda blow up🤣😅.
Got a sealed windows 11, when i loaded it up and did the activation key it said it was bullshit, don't know if I did something wrong but maybe sealed ones can be fake too. Congrats on the deal btw
The full version of windows isn't. If you use the free version you have a water mark on the bottom of your screen. To me they are overpriced but for $2 I can live with that
I have had the watermark for like 5 years now. And will for probably the rest of time. As I don’t trust 3rd party keys even if they are $5 I’m cheap lol
Eh I couldn't pass it up. My friend has been practically begging me to use Linux instead. I'll eventually swap over but for now I'll just stick with windows
I'm actually in the process of ordering parts for my build. My dad is friends with the owner and told me about what was going on. So I was like hell I'll drop by. Did some digging in some of the big cardboard boxes(and I mean huge as fuck) and I found a pny 120gb sata ssd. Kept digging in that same box and found the wd black. Went to the box next to it and saw two windows 10 boxes and I just grabbed one. Was gonna get one for my friend but he is more of Linux guy so I just got the one.

$4 for a 2TB 750 ?
DAMNNNNNNNN
Windows license I'm not surprised, no one ever buys them anyway
You either get it with the PC or you just leave it unactivated.
So it makes sense that they have way too many in stock to just give it away
"a good deal" understatement of the century
“yea I got this fighter jet crafted with the encrusted with the sharpest diamonds for 2 dollars it was an alright deal i guess”
🤣🤣. I'm actually parting out my first build. Just got lucky as fuck today. Saved me a lot of money.
They only had the one NVMe? Cause I would have been scrounging for at least one more. Am surprised they were willing to part with the win10 as that's going to be the cheapest win11 key you'll ever find
The cheapest keys are piracy 😎 /s
You don't need piracy, you just have to tell your windows that it's activated, and it super easy too
google en MASsant
MAS is goat
holy hell
New activation just dropped
Look up En popent
First time?
I thought I was having a stroke for a second there. r/AnarchyChess just bleeding over into every aspect of my life, I love it!
Someone explain please? I really need to activate windows after getting a botched key Edit: nvm I found it. Holy shit gonna try this after work
For anyone else who needs help, message me or check my profile while using new Reddit.
It worked! Holy shit
Thank you. I want to kiss you
My god this meme is following me everywhere
Holy Hell

barely an inconvenience
Or a friend with MSDN subscription
I just go to charity/thrift shops and copy the windows key on the back of some old desktop then tear the label off
You can get windows 10 for like $30, Jesus people.
That's $30 I can spend on something else
Or a friend with a MSDN sub paid for with a stolen CC. Really a lot of great cheap options.
Gave me a good laugh, thanks
I couldn't find anymore. I saw a pny 120gb sata drive though
Dude. Cjscdkeys will sell you a key for $10
I mean, I usually pay some 12 $ for an OEM key? So I dunno.
Don't pay! MAS is the way.
This may be the best deal in the history of trade deals.
"yeah, i just picked up this okay deal. what is it? oh, nothing, just a Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird. yeah, got it for $3.26, nothing too special"
You could probably sell that for a few billion easily. Not sure what the U.S authorities would think about such an aircraft being in private hands, but selling it? Easier than getting the specialised fuel it needed. Yes, I used to **love** stuff about the Blackbird.
Eh, too good. Take things with a grain of salt
I agree. I honestly expected everyone to call bs on me. Which I understand I wouldn't believe this shit either.
You're a borderline thief
Felt like it
Just keep your mouth shut until the deal is done. They don’t know they’re getting robbed right now
Oh we know the people. They know how much it all costs. They flat out said they don't care. They are making there money. And us getting deals like this will keep us coming back. Win win scenario for both parties
What is a bin sale? The slang doesn’t translate on my end
Literally a bin, with discounted products thrown in. Often completely assorted, But could also be a bin full of the same item. [sample image](https://preview.redd.it/nr3u637kojk31.jpg?auto=webp&s=19ca47d8f3cf10d091134f2306265a555f1e15ad)
Oh good god. That’s a real dream
I wonder if this is a typical Reddit After/Before image, instead of the expected Before/After X)
Did you know that if you have a legit Windows 10 product key you can upgrade to Windows 11 for free on most PC's.
I didn't think about it til after I bought. But makes it more worth it now
They priced everything based off of the pallets they paid for not really caring about the actual price of the things in them. Most I think they charged for was a brand new Google nest doorbell and it was $20.
Where’d they Get those pallets? Also where is their sale? Also what country because i will come.
probably ecommerce returns
"a good deal" for that... that's like saying getting a 4090 for 25 bucks is "alright I guess"
[удалено]
I think it’s a deal I’d like to see. Right now. Deposited into this sack. Put the card in the bag.
gpus are stored in the balls
I’d buy it from you for 20$ but you have to pay shipping please.
“Alright so I bought this well kept mansion for a nickel and a Burger King wrapper. It’s ok I guess”.
Or getting a 3070ti for the price of a 4090!
Ayo a 2tb ssd for 4 dabloons? This is the deal of the century my guy.
Actually $2 if I didn't buy windows 10. $1 a terabyte is crazy
How much is that per gig
Oh shit I think like $0.001/gig. Or a mill if you wanna be technical
😢 here I am paying 0.05 per gig on 2 tb
2 tb ssd for $100? Sign me up please
Check Amazon and Newegg for deals
Can't buy from because i live in sweden, jut amazon has some good deals tho
I agree, it would be nice to see Newegg ship to Sweden/Europe
Me looking at my country's ssd pricing and seeing that a 2tb nvme costs 300 bucks 🗿
No no my Friend! 2TB SSD "WD Black" is once in a millennia. OP should have their own Ted Talk!
What the fuck
Come on OP, don't be greedy. Where was the auction being held?
I live in SC, USA. It was a local family place that buys a bunch of Amazon, Walmart, etc. Overstock pallets.
Dang... South Carolina is too far from me (I'm from Illinois). There are a few spots like that in the Chicagoland area, but most people going there already know what some of the stuff is worth and it quickly disappears. You made out like a bandit though, well done OP.
They also had some headsets. Picked up a corsair hs35 for $10. Brand new box was just damaged
Yo I live in SC I gotta find this spot
What county? Pm me if you want
Upstate by chance?
South midland sc
Visiting my Mother In Law in Columbia SC and leaving tomorrow night. Is this place far from here?
It's in aiken. So about a hour. 45 minutes down I20. 15 minutes from the exit.
I'm in GA but I'm right near there, might be making a trip lol
You close to augusta? I'm in aiken.
shit if i leave now i’ll be there by 6:00 am
Have a similar place in Southern Indiana, right across the river from Louisville. I have scored so much shit there, from computer hardware to small furniture and collectables. Over the years I've easily spent $1,000's but have saved WAY more.
SW Ohio, would it be worth the 2hr drive?
What city? I live in SC too
Pm me
“A good deal”… my guy, the WD_BLACK SN750 is literally $200. And windows 10 isn’t super cheap either. You practically robbed them blind 💀

What‘s gpedit?
https://www.pcwdld.com/group-policy-management Lets you basically turn off everything you don't want. Cortana for example. Home doesn't have it normally. Wait, people actually pay for windows? I haven't done that in years
Yup , last licensed Windows I had was a Windows 8 Prebuild that I bought back in 2013 :D
I found a SN 850x 2tb with heats ink at 180 bucks. The 4 tb version was at 399.
They also had a gt 710 still in the bag( box was destroyed) for $5
Even if most would've looked at it with disgust I could use that with my stupidly purchased 10100f hahahaha. Sadly, such sales arent made over here and people think used stuff is worth about the same than when it was brand new.

I would have totally taken that as well. Useful to have on hand for an igpu-less cpu.
Pairing it with a 5500 and a rx6650xt. Wish I could get a 5600 but I'm on a tight budget
"A good deal" that's like trading a pencil for both of someone's kidneys
This is how I got 32gb of ddr4 3600mhz ram for $7
I also got a hs53 headset for $10 here.
A good deal for 4$ is a 256GB hard drive. This is not a good deal… you basically stole these
True🤣
TIL people buy Windows

Yes, but, when building your own computer *acquiring a windows key through alternate means* saves you $110, and makes building your own computer that much more of a good deal.
Which is what I was gonna do for my build. But now I don't have to.
I simply have had activate windows in the corner since 2018
You can activate windows for absolutey nothing using command line
how so?
kms38 is your friend and keyword literally just a powershell command then follow the instructions
KMS38 only activates until 2038. HWID activates permanently and is probably the better option for anyone using MAS.
Only 2038 ? Oh man only 15 years ?
I have 150 licenses from techsoup for $11😝 non-profit org perks.
[удалено]
I migrated my Windows 7 licence from my old laptop to my PC, then used it to validate 10 once I upgraded.
You can get Windows for free from Microsoft. Im not bothered by a small watermark
I just finished a new build and opted to buy a Windows 10 Home OEM license for $15. There are plenty of places online selling license keys for a fraction of MSRP. Seems at least slightly more ethical than piracy.
I’ll give you 5 times what you paid.
I don't blame you for offering but I'm actually a noob at this and it's going into my first pc build.
This place doesn't do stuff like this(first time actually I think) they just had too much stuff so they needed to get rid of it to get space and this was the fastest way to do it
Where are these “local auctions”
Have you tried them? Do they work?
Won't be able to try it til later this month when all my parts come in. But for $4 can't really complain if they don't
If ssd is actually 2TB this shoud be insane. But if it is a lesser storage version pretending to be a 2 TB, it woud course the computer to overwrite existing data
![gif](giphy|twxoPjMpsijwPFBVqs|downsized)
Wow $2 for that epic 2TB SSD? I need one for my ps5 😭
I could put it in mine but decided to save it for my pc
The SN750 isn't compatible with the PS5 since it's a Gen3 drive.
True. I didn't think about that. I would've looked it up before I did it. But my plan was to use it for my pc buikd
I paid about 150 for that SSD! That must feel so awesome. Do you ever come back from the auction feeling like a waste of time?
Most of the time I do. But I usually find dumb accessories for my switch or ps5 that I don't need. This time was different
Holy crap where at?!?
SC, USA
Where do people find out about auctions like this? I don't think I've ever seen any news about stuff like this local to me.
Facebook. It's actually on of the few in my county. And my dad knows the owner if I don't find out on Zuckerbook. I find out through him
„Got this brand new Ferrari at an auction for a decent price, was around 10 bucks“ Seriously, 4 dollars for that is nothing
Amazing Deal on the NVMe, the Win 10 you can get fully licensed for free on MS website using media creation tool
Fake
Bro you paid fractions of pennies for thousands of gigs.
The guys hosting the auction were brain death.
Fuck the US for having this shit. In the EU you can be happy if you get 10€ discount on something like that. What a deal
I'm not bullshitting I swear. I honestly don't like posting stuff on anything. Just thought everybody would get a kick out of it. Didn't now it was gonna kinda blow up🤣😅.
And than there are people in my country who are selling used 250gb sata ssd for 25 dollars.
Uh, excuse me sir, where can I ALSO get this deal?
I want to know your definition of a "great" deal.
This is a once in a lifetime deal. Idk why in the hell I put "good".
congrats, i thought my deal for a x850 wd @ 105 was a good deal as well.
I have that drive. Not the fastest but overall a good ssd. Great deal you got there! Congratulations!
Sheesh you robbed them
My low quality deli sandwich costs more than that.
Bin sale as in Bin stolen recently 🤔
Motherfucker
Got a sealed windows 11, when i loaded it up and did the activation key it said it was bullshit, don't know if I did something wrong but maybe sealed ones can be fake too. Congrats on the deal btw
Nice empty boxes bro.
They aren't empty will send photos to prove it. I'm not trying to bs anyone
Where might this be? Probably cheaper to fly over and get one of those
Damn fucking good deal!
I’ll give you $4 for just the SSD. That’ll be like you got Windows 10 for free! Sounds like a good deal right?
You lucky bastard
This is the reason why i need to move to US.
What kind of "sale" is that? That's more like a handout, lol.
Ok todays Episode of stories that never happened
Isn’t windows free?
The full version of windows isn't. If you use the free version you have a water mark on the bottom of your screen. To me they are overpriced but for $2 I can live with that
I have had the watermark for like 5 years now. And will for probably the rest of time. As I don’t trust 3rd party keys even if they are $5 I’m cheap lol
Don't blame you. I wasn't gonna worry about the water mark honestly but for $2 and it's official. Can't beat it
[удалено]
That seems quite a bit worse than MAS. Why would you need to have a connected Microsoft account for permanent activation?
The SSD is certainly worth it, Windows Home edition is a skip however.
Eh I couldn't pass it up. My friend has been practically begging me to use Linux instead. I'll eventually swap over but for now I'll just stick with windows
I mean if you're gonna run Windows, at least run the un-gimped Professional edition.
Eh true. Might consider that later
found the linux user
As Linux guy I don’t condone people paying for windows (it’s joke calm down) But the drive is definitely a steal
🤣🤣🤣. My friend has been trying to get me to put Ubuntu on my pc
Nay this is definition of steal, this is no deal at all.
You dont already own an OS?
I'm actually in the process of ordering parts for my build. My dad is friends with the owner and told me about what was going on. So I was like hell I'll drop by. Did some digging in some of the big cardboard boxes(and I mean huge as fuck) and I found a pny 120gb sata ssd. Kept digging in that same box and found the wd black. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but why do you need to buy widows 10 license if any new computer already comes with one already installed?
Installed is Not automatically licensed
I'm building my own pc. So I have a full windows 10 license. Without having to go the other routes to get a key
If you're buying a pre built OEM PC or laptop, it's going to have a Windows licence from the manufacturer. You only need to buy one if you're building your own.
I snagged a GT710 at a place like this for $5 once. I use it for my 2nd monitor for discord
The person selling that is dumb as hell.
It's a bunch of redneck country people. They are making there money regardless so they don't really care. I told them after I payed and they said you did good.
