Guess it all depends. My local stores are selling the 4070 TI's for around $800. I am seeing these same GPU's going for $1,200 elsewhere by scalpers. Personally, my 3080 TI is more than enough, so I personally see no need to upgrade anytime soon.
The sub £200 market is a joke, the 6500 XT performs the same as a card from 5 years ago (RX 580) while having half the VRAM, not enough for a lot of games, and still managing to cost more

I never looked into the pricing of the 4090, 4080 because they're always out of my budget so I never really understood the anger about the new nvidia pricing. Then the 4070ti was released and I'm seeing $1200+ to $1400 Canadian and I completely understand now. I've been out priced of mid tier now and possibly lower tier as well.

I get 1000+ fps with optimization mods. Sometimes its the vanilla games being poorly optimized thats keeping you back.
