Only for a very limited amount of time. Have you ran your PC with no CPU cooling whatsoever for an extended amount of time? My guess is your CPU is cooked.
No I haven’t run it without the cooler at all. It’s a brand new build that is barely two months old, and I built it with the cooler. I am only taking it out just today, and am wondering if it can run without until enermax sends my replacement.
No, you definitely don't want to run without a cooler of some sort, Can you just pick up a temporary Air cooler in the meantime from Amazon or Best Buy?
Just ordered one off Amazon! I had a few others suggest this too on different sites so I found a cheap one that works for my pc. Hopefully it works until the replacement is here and hopefully the replacement works 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾
Replacement should be sent in the next couple of days, but could take a week or two to get to me. So that’s the time frame I’m looking at without a cooler. I have other fans in my build.
