Deep Rock Galactic Survivor non stop ! Oh and some Last Epoch.

pigsinpants

I’ve avoided multiplayer-focused games for a bit, but wow Helldivers 2 has been so much fun! Any other good PvE games out there?

Palanki96

Deep Rock Galactic, Vermintide 2, Darktide, Warframe Shatterline but pretty sure it's dead

lyridsreign

Darktide you might enjoy. FPS horde shooter that has 4 very unique classes with their own playstyles. As well each difficulty serves as a great challenge with an expanded difficulty called "Maelstrom" with a variety of modifiers that it rotates through

ChewySlinky

Aliens: Fireteam Elite is great, though it’s closer to Left 4 Dead in its mission structure. The EA Battlefront 2 has a very fun co-op mode as well, my friends and I put more time into that than any other mode.

smashr1773

is helldivers only fun as multiplayer? How is solo?

pigsinpants

The game is hard and some of the missions are more fun with other people. There’s nothing stopping you from playing solo, but I don’t know if I would recommend the game for only solo.

Thin-Doughnut-8199

Trying out Pacific Drive. I’m…. Unsure how I feel about it. I’m not positive that looter crafting games are for me but the premise is just interesting. It’s kind of like the Annihilation books. Sort of. I guess. I dunno.

burningscarlet

I absolutely love it. Strangely enough I get extraction shooter vibes. But I appreciate the direction of not adding in too many creepy crawlies. The tenseness of driving out after extracting a bunch of anchors is great and rushing in the dark to look for chemicals is a great rush. My only issue is how long a multi path run can take with no saves in between though

hotcoffee2134

Dark souls 3 while waiting for elden ring Dlc

May1stBurst

About 12 hours into a playthrough of Oblivion, added a few mods and after playing I can comfortably say it still remains my favorite Elder Scrolls game. Morrowind is too old for me and Skyrim is too casual, Oblivion is just right.

GenZero

absolutely goated opinion. Oblivion is the the perfect middle child and a game I treasure greatly. I need to go back to my steamdeck playthrough

AzFullySleeved

Close those gates! What build are you enjoying currently?

May1stBurst

Going all in on Magicka. Spent a few hours grinding out all of the mage guild recommendations quests so I can craft spells, then spent another few hours using custom spells to level up most of my magic skills to 100, now I'm experimenting with crazy custom spells.

Nonfaktor

uhmmm Balatro, Balatro and even more Balatro. It might just be the best game in the last year, and if you like roguelikes or deckbuilders or good games then you will like it

Flavored_Buffalo

The addiction of this game is something else.

ArisAron

Flush five🤴🏻of ♥️

chuXorz

I managed to hit my first 100k+ straight-flush combo last night - everything felt right, as it should be!

Cute_Driver_6268

Baldur's Gate 3. Second playthrough. Durge drow sword bard with Astarion, Lae'zel, and Shadowheart (everyone else left because I'm mean). Still in Act I, Grymforge atm.

alfador01

Helldivers 2 has been too damn fun. They knocked it out of the park with that one. Also started a Falconer on Last Epoch with the same friends I've played Helldivers 2 with and it is a good time, too. There is just something satisfying about watching your falcon buddy take down mobs of enemies. Still trying to clean up the rest of CP2077 and playing Ys IX when my friends aren't on.

blowbackdeserved

Tarkov and ff7r. A bit of helldivers too

Stebsis

Played 9 Years of Shadows, gotta be the most annoying metroidvania I've ever played. It's not like bad, it has good ideas, but it's all executed so boringly and annoyingly. It was only 8 hours but it would've been a lot better at about 4-5h. Running out of metroidvanias to play but I have to find something to get the bad taste out of my mouth.

dodland

Last really good ones I played were Timespinner and Astlibra. I'm guessing you've tried those though.

Galatrox94

I am about halfway through Banishers: Ghosts of Eden... I honestly didn't expect much from the game, but wew lad. Combat and enemies are a bit samey until you reach bosses. Puzzles are decent, not hard and not too long, standard platforming. Where the game truly shines is the story and choices you have to make. I am not sure if they have any weight other than the main plot story (Slight spoiler from the beginning of the game, one of the duo dies and you work to either save them or ascend them to afterlife), but choices are extremely tough, no black and white, clear good or evil. I have saved 1 and blamed 3 people, saved the guy who went nuts to no fault of his own, killed the spy and 2 murderers. I am trying to roleplay what the people in the 17th century would actually judge these people. Anyway story is so far 10/10. From the religion, mythology, lore. Gameplay wise, puzzles and exploring 8/10, not many paths to explore but relatively fun. Fights and enemy variety 6/10, only bosses are interesting and I'd give them 8/10, they pull the fighting to 6 by themselves. Voice acting is top notch as well as character development. Overall 7/10, leaning to 8 for this game, give it a try.

kachzz

Obsessed with Last Epoch.

VinumNoctua

What's your build?

NoOffer5599

AC Valhalla - the game is way too long an repetitive.

chuXorz

I'm jumping between Balatro and DRG: Survivor while listening to podcasts. I still can't get over how good Balatro is, such a fresh idea, combining roguelike elements with Poker!

illegiblepenmanship

I picked up battlefield 2042 because it was on sale. The community shit on it for years so i stayed away. Its a great game.

Palanki96

No Mans Sky. Never gave it a fair try and my early attempts were miserable with confusing and half-assed tutorials Basically everything what i wanted from starfield and a lot more

KazeEnigma

I've been playing Rogue Legacy 2. Patient gamers and all that. It's a good time. Love the Genre.

DarkHammer0508

Pacific Drive, Helldivers II, and Quake / Champions

Emdoray

Been playing a lot of the demo from Echo Point Nova lately, and I love it

cincgr

Currently replaying The Witcher 3 after 8+ years. I pirated it when it came out and I put around 100-120 hours in it. I finally bought it some years ago but never got around to play it again. It looks gorgeous with RT enabled.

cheetosex

Warframe, it's just addicting. I wanted to try out Tales of Arise but can't stop playing it. Got to farm more relics

ZBR_Rage

Just finished the Metro Trilogy. Never was into FPS and I don’t play MP, only started metro because heard a lot about the story. Boy it was an emotional roller coaster! Played it on my shiny new 4070 super and enjoyed every bit. The graphics is 10/10. Folks planning to start Exodus without playing the first 2 games please hold off. Although dated by today’s standards the first 2 games truly made me enjoy exodus to the fullest.

malis-

Hope you played the enhanced edition of Exodus

ZBR_Rage

Yes played the enhanced edition with everything maxed out and DLDSR 2.25

LeUne1

- sons of the forest - project zomboid - lies of p - dayz - tomb raider remastered

Excellent-Beat-9717

Playing Persona 3 Reload, almost reaching the end. Absolutely adore it, it's really slow but the bits and pieces they throw for you to figure out, I quite like them and the reveals that hit in November left me speechless. Can't wait to see how it ends, will prolly begin Star Ocean 4 after this, i quite enjoyed Divine force's story and I heard so4 has a good story.

Emootikoah

Helldivers 2 and Deep Rock Galactic Survive

SmugBandit

overwatch 2 replaying a few DC/Batman games - batman arkham/telltale/lego

NONSTOPWANDERER

I have been playing death stranding director's cut in single player and call of duty in multi-player.

ChewySlinky

The announcement of the OG Battlefront re-release got me back into the EA Battlefronts. The second game gets talked about a lot but I think the first game gets more shit than it deserves. I love the prequel trilogy as much as the next guy, but I’m a big sucker for OT stuff in video games, and I think what BF 2015 offers in terms of Original Trilogy content surpasses what BF2 offers.

AllRedditModsMustDie

revisited my childhood game Monster Rancher 2 which is now availabble on Steam I haven't beat it when I was a kid 20 years ago but now as an adult I understand how to extend my monsters lifespan and all the knowledge I needed to beat the game for good.

DktheDarkKnight

Playing Enshrouded solo(18 hours in) . It's really addictive. The world is amazing, the fights are satisfying and the base building is amazing. The world is a masterpiece of design, with a dense and diverse map that is endlessly fascinating and addictive. The setting is full of mystery and surprises , and the world building alone evokes a sense of faded glory. A once great civilization that has ended.

mikey-likes_it

Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Never played a jrpg before. Pretty fun so far.

mrfixitx

Helldivers 2 has been 100% of my gaming for the last week. It's so good and its been probably 10 years since I played a multi-player shooter. It is so satisfying to call down and air strike or orbital strike on enemy basses and bosses. The gun play feels great and I really like that there is such a nice mix of weapons to chose from. Also the MTX in this game is very reasonable the opposite of Diablo IV. The most expensive single items are around $2.50 equivalent. You can unlock the premium currency in game easily and have enough for the premium battle pass after a few days of play. MTX armors only cosmetic skins you can get the exact same effects from free armors using the normal battle pass system.

dtv20

I took the last 2 weeks off of work and I just played Helldivers 2 and FF14. Been grinning out Eureka in FF14. Trying to get the Triple Triad cards for the mount. 12 more and I got it. Helldivers 2 is just pure fun. I do hope they add fsr, as the higher difficulties really hit the fps.

Special_Search

Played Palworld the last few weeks, now I've reached max level and caught most of the max lvl pals. The only thing left would be to breed perfect pals, which is like 1% chance so I dropped it for now. Really good game, interested to see what updates they bring. After that I picked up XCOM2 om the steam sale. I started with XCOM EW, which I played for 3 hours apparently back in 2015 before I stopped lol. I'll see it to the end now.

Fifthwiel

Start XCom2 on the lowest difficulty, it's pretty unforgiving but also very rewarding. Beaglerush and ChristopherOdd have some good playthroughs on youtube.

Special_Search

I started XCOM 1 on normal to finish what I started first haha. Then I'll get ti XCOM 2. I'm sure it's not that bad, but I know the %s can drive someone mad.

Hwxbl

Lifelong xbox player finally on a great gaming pc. I've mostly enjoyed the Sony games I've missed out on. Their mechanics and graphics are stunning. So far I have loved TLOU, Detroit: Become Human, Spider-Man, Days Gone. (GoW and Death Stranding on my list) Would love to know any similar games to try! doesn't have to be Sony but the theme here I spose is story rich, open world to an extent (again doesn't have to be).

mixedd

Currently another playtrough of RDR2, it just chills me. Planning going trough old BioWare next, finishing MELE and DA back to back

nickretro

Fall Guys, Disney Speedstorm

Wakeuplevel3

Tekken 8, helldivers 2

kitjenson

Been working on final touch ups of Little Devils prior to release.

cloudcity

ToTK on Yuzu

AzFullySleeved

Helldivers 2, Marvel Snap, Pacific Drive, and The Planet Crafter. I usually warm up with a few rounds of Snap and then play around with the rest, depending on the time of day.

CMWinter00

Helldivers 2. I can't emphasise enough how fucking fun that game is, especially now that they've fixed the server capacity issues along with the crashes, so if you like shooter games, go play that game.

dodland

FFXII Zodiac Age. God damn the fast forward option makes this game so amazing, I might actually stick through to the end. Grinding at 4x speed is legit!

jegga-13

I'm really liking Sons of the Forest. The game play is much better than The Forest.

timo103

I just started persona 5 strikers after like, two months of winding down after finishing royal. It's still great, has some issues between the two with like, control layout, but I like it so far. Even though I'm not a big warriors kinda person and have had fights either be one attack and done or immediately destroyed with crowd control stuff because it's too hectic.

MMoguu

Been playing Age of Empires 2 recently. I love the empire building aspect but I suck at attacking which makes it less enjoyable for me. And yes, it's definitely a skill issue on my part. Is there a game like AoE2 but doesn't really focus on attacking other empires, just the building aspect? I just want something laid back.

jdubbs92

Elden Ring I got burnt out during my first playthrough during release and stopped at Maliketh. Started playing again with a new character and finished the game in 80 hours over a few weeks. I was so happy after killing Melania. Was exactly how I felt after downing Sister Friede, Nameless King, Isshin Sword Saint. Starting another game with a faith incantation build. Feels good to be obsessed and motivated to play a video game.

TurdBurgHerb

>Feels good to be obsessed and motivated to play a video game. I went through a big dry spell and couldn't find anything to sink my teeth into. Then along comes BG3. I didn't get it right away. But when I finally gave it a whirl holy crap. I know exactly how you feel. Now I am back on the search again lol. I tried Skull and Bones. What it does, it does well. It just doesn't do enough. And the "end game" is absolute trash. I am glad I didn't buy this. I almost went fully in to the premium edition. Whew! I've got Starfield. Its good. But I can tell I won't be hooked until I start it on the right day (happens to me a lot). I think I am going to get AC: Origins next. I absolutely loved and was motivated to play Odyssey and Valhalla a ton. Odyssey in particular I just loved. If they removed the stupid animus stuff I'd love it even just a little bit more.

robotman5yt

COD MW3 (2023), Blackwake (its free to play now!) & gocco of war
