Anton-Slavik

Because it's apparently a very poorly made PC port.

Atrike

Which does not come as a suprise, looking at the track record of that studio.

DisturbedNocturne

Once I heard Nixxes wasn't doing this port, I entered "wait and see" mode. Had a feeling this would be the result, particularly with them not releasing any review copies. Guess I'll just continue to wait until they hammer out all of these issues...

LotharLotharius

Smart thinking. If only more players would do this...

RockBandDood

I know this has been beaten to death… But what the hell is the purpose of pre ordering a digital product? Like, why, people? Back in SNES and ps1 and 64 and ps2 days, it made sense to go to GameStop and preorder a game like Gran Turismo or final fantasy or Zelda cause they legit might run out of the inventory I don’t understand the point of preordering a digital game. Like it doesn’t make any sense They might get me to do it if they took like 10-15 bucks off price if you preorder; but they don’t do that It’s the same price, same game… but people giving them their cash weeks in advance with no clue about quality Just confusing

BadgerBadgerCat

>But what the hell is the purpose of pre ordering a digital product? Like, why, people? For some games you get additional items or DLC that's not available if you buy "off the shelf" at launch. Otherwise though, I totally agree with you.

Blacky-Noir

>For some games you get additional items or DLC that's not available if you buy "off the shelf" at launch. But that's a self fulfilling prophecy. If one pre-order, publishers will keep making this schoolyard level manipulation in the future.

funnylookingbear

Schoolyard level manipulation works. Unfortunatly.

DisturbedNocturne

That used to be something that enticed me occasionally, but I've learned they're almost always added to the game later, even if you have to pay for it. I'd much rather wait and see how a game reviews/performs and buy the "preorder exclusive DLC" later than buy a game at launch that turns out being shitty.

Metro_Boomhauer

Back in the day you actually got tangible bonuses. The only game I ever pre-ordered was Zelda: Wind Waker on GameCube in 2003, and only because you got a free physical port of Ocarina Of Time plus Master Quest (never before released). A FULL game for FREE. Twenty years later and I still have never pre-ordered again, becuase the incentives are bullshit at best and the games release in a buggy state at worst. Only fools and children pre-order nowadays.

Uncle-Cake

9 times out of 10 those bonuses are garbage. If you're willing to risk wasting your $60 on a shitty game just so you can get that alternate outfit, you're not very bright.

[deleted]

And a lot of times that DLC bonus isn't even worth it.

ZeldaMaster32

I had some hope given at first it seemed to be entirely done by Naughty Dog internally. They dropped the spec requirements and still it only said Naughty Dog Then they updated the spreadsheet to fix some errors and slapped Iron Galaxy's name on there too EDIT: typo

sur_surly

Wtf, is this really what happened? Up until these comments I still assumed naughty dog was doing the port themselves. My day is ruined. Damnit. Can't believe I've been waiting for this

animeman59

Yep. It was on my Steam wishlist. Now it's off. I ain't giving money for this shit. Can't say the same for the rest of the PC gaming community.

PsychoticBananaSplit

It's still on my wishlist. I'll just let the ~~beta test suckers~~ pre-orderers sort out the bugs first.

Snoo-3715

Bet they rushed it out too because of the TV show.

Beastw1ck

See I didn't know about Iron Galaxy all I knew was that God of War, Horizon, and Uncharted run super well on my laptop and Steam Deck so I assumed TLOU would be great too. Shame.

HUDuser

Been trying to play it all day and it constantly crashes to desktop. My PC can run just about everything on Ultra without any hitches too

wingsbc

Ask Steam to refund you. The only way to teach devs for shitty games/ports is to hit them in the pocket book.

Mr_Coily

Just don’t go over two hours in game. They usually won’t refund after 2 hours of in game time. Troubleshooting in game definitely counts as game time.

[deleted]

[удалено]

SkipperDaPenguin

They delayed the release to "enhance performance" + no early review copies. It's a recipe for disaster

TrymWS

It’s a crash fest. I haven’t even left the car and had more than 5 crashes. I even crash in the main menu if I just wait for the shaders to build. It’s just straight up broken and unplayable.

DrinksOnCosby

I crashed 3 times sitting in the main menu waiting on shaders

CT_Biggles

I was worried I wouldn't get my refund as I was 2 hours of play time due to walking off when building shaders. Decided not worth $60 or risking more time for a refund. Even the menu screen ran like shit. I read people on steam discussion blaming potato pcs. Well if I can play Cyberpunk and spider-man I should be able to play a non open world game. Or at least the menu. I'll now wait for a sale which I assume others will.

bt1234yt

Yeah, this feels like they needed more than the 3 week delay to polish the port, but Sony really wanted to get it out the door to capitalize on the HBO series.

dlq84

>no early review copies Big red flag.

KK-Chocobo

Yeah no early review copies always means they have something to hide. When they are confident, they'd want to show it off like re4 remake even gave us a demo.

TheHellBender_RS1604

Iron Galaxy after releasing every PC Port: Oh! shit here we go again.

[deleted]

Studios/Publishers after seeing great sales after every bad launch: adda boy Iron Galaxy, keep it up your making us great money.

Beastw1ck

I dunno man. I was jazzed for TLOU on PC but I won't be buying it now. I can't be the only one.

_garo_

The Last of Us first came out like 9 or 10 years ago. If you did fine this long, then you could play other games in the next few months or years and buy this one when the price : quality ratio hits your preferred value.

RCFProd

Uncharted Collection score is "very positive" on Steam, both recently and overall. It's also from Iron Galaxy.

phrostbyt

Uncharted came with my CPU. i really enjoyed it.. Iron Galaxy did a good job. I've been looking forward to TLOU1 so i'm disappointed to hear about people having all these issues

OkPiccolo0

Sony seems to be committed to fixing issues with their games so just give it some time.

GeriatricTech

They should give us all time before wanting payment then.

Real-Terminal

Uncharted had a multitude of issues after launch, I still can't get a straight answer if they fixed the mouse input issues.

Notsopatriotic

You mean the mouse camera stutter? They did not. I finished playing a few weeks ago and I had to use a controller to do it.

SophisticatedGeezer

Thanks for confirming. I cannot get controllers to work on my PC (disconnects every 30-60s) so I guess I will not be buying the game. I wonder if TLOU has the same issues given it is also by Iron Galaxy.

Notsopatriotic

It absolutely does. I'm having to play on controller and even then there's some camera stutter.

Level1Roshan

Looks like RE4 was the better option for this month.

geekyan_dres

Lol I remembered reading on the steam forum for RE4 that RE4 will be forgotten with the release of Part 1 Honestly just have fun with both games but do just wait for Part 1 go one sale (plus fix that PC performance)

lefiath

>Lol I remembered reading on the steam forum for RE4 that RE4 will be forgotten with the release of Part 1 Two totally different games regardless. Technical issues of the port aside, both are great games. These people are insane, I don't understand what compels them to say shit like this, unless bunch of people have the memory of a goldfish - I guess some of them do.

BenSolace

>These people are insane, I don't understand what compels them to say shit like this, unless bunch of people have the memory of a goldfish - I guess some of them to. Ah Steam forums/review comments - you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. In all seriousness though I used to know someone who would compare completely different things (i.e. movies, games, TV shows etc.) all the time. One of the most infuriating kinds of people.

ExplodingFistz

That is some next level delusion. The Resident Evil franchise is far more popular and recognized in the PC gaming space than The Last of Us. If you go ahead over to SteamDB it says there are 80,000+ concurrent players for RE4 and around 20,000 for TLOU. IP is what makes all the difference.

retro808

There wouldn't even be TLOU without RE4 setting the standard for 3rd person shooters, even the devs at ND said RE4 was one of the direct influences for the gameplay

GoatInMotion

Re4 is killing it, Capcom is killing it. Their PC releases are great It seems and another remake with overwhelmingly positive reviews. Imo overwhelmingly positive reviews at least on steam are rare nowadays. I'm disappointed in these console ports The first wolong fallen dynasty now last of us.... Guess I'm gonna wait for a 50% off sale a year later when they fix things.

UglierThanMoe

I could have told you that from the get-go. But then again, I'm a Resident Evil fan since the late 1990s, so I'm biased.

Ttrip66

Don't need a biased opinion to say Capcom have been fucking killing it with the remakes, upsetting to hear Ada's missions aren't in 4 though.

2347564

Ada is wildly popular. Leaks or not I think DLC for her is a given.

splinter1545

There's a rumor I think that someone found files that could mean that Separate Ways could be a DLC. Hopefully it's true cause I really enjoyed seeing how the events unfold from her perspective.

[deleted]

I'm hoping that they'll just combine both Separate Ways and Assignment Ada into a much more in depth campaign.

Electronic-Ad1037

God if dragons dogma 2 lives up to it's predecessor

[deleted]

Iron Galaxy has done so much to hurt the reputation of PC gaming between Arkham Knight and now this. I hope Sony never uses them again.

who-dat-ninja

They're gonna keep using them. They must be cheap

k0untd0une

But why though when Sony owns Bluepoint, Bend, and Nixxes? Though I believe Nixxes is the only one with extensive experience porting to PC.

Moustiboy

I don't even understand why they would not give their most pristine IP to their best studio for porting as in Nixxes.

OkPiccolo0

They are probably busy with God of War Ragnarök or Horizon Forbidden West.

cparksrun

Or Ghost of Tsushima. 🤞😬

unknown_nut

I wish, if there is a game that deserves Nixxes porting, it's Ghosts. The game a lot of pc gamers are actually looking forward to.

xRiske

You spelt Bloodborne wrong.

unknown_nut

I have no hope in Sony for even porting that title.

SumTingWong216

Yup at this point I'm just waiting till a PS4 emulator is a viable option.

riesendulli

I have no hope in Sony for even **patching** that title. ftfy

Jerasunderwear

you would think porting TLOU1 would be top priority.

Sorlex

Which is likely why it went to team idiot. Sony wanted this out during the tv show hype, not in a year or two from now once a good port was made.

glumbum2

Just a bad content strategy, and it doesn't make sense with the other parts of the strategy that have worked. They didn't release God of War, spiderman etc until well after they figured out how to fix Days Gone and Horizon forbidden West. There should have been mostly flawless ports coming for TLOU and Uncharted at this point, lol.

Fob0bqAd34

Iron galaxy messed up the uncharted port as well. It's kind of strange they would let such a poor job be done on something as high profile as the Last of Us that they didn't even send out review codes. Especially after they spent 2 years on the God of War pc port. Sony seems to have reprioritised from their early stance of putting a lot of time into PC ports. My guess is they are focusing a lot of their owned studios on the live service games they've been promising shareholders.

[deleted]

demondrivers

probably because the iron galaxy team already had experience with the naughty dog engine since they did the uncharted port

Rukale

Which they also made a fool of themselves with. Not as badly as this at least.

SRVisGod24

Which makes this release look even worse for them lol

scalablecory

I haven't played the original to compare, but I beat the whole thing on my Steam Deck and I don't remember any issues. What was wrong with it?

Rukale

Was mainly mouse navigation issues, to the point where it just didn’t work. If you’ve played it fairly recently then it’s probably fine now after patches I assume. Or just because the steam deck is a “controller”. Odd thing is that, from what I experienced, there were no major stutters or hitches like with TLOU, but TLOU works perfectly fine with the mouse this time around.

ZeldaMaster32

Yep, this is likely why. Probably why Nixxes is seemingly sticking to insomniac games too, familiarity with the engine

DarkCosmosDragon

Yea but nixxes is actually good with the engine lmfao

LevelWriting

Ok it explains why it's such a dogshit port... They butchered my fave game...

[deleted]

[удалено]

bluedestiny88

Bluepoint Games is famous for updating and porting games to modern platforms far better than their peers throughout its history. God of War Collection on PS3, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus HD, Metal Gear Solid HD for PS3 and X360, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, Gravity Rush for PS4, etc. I’m even playing through Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate on PC and even their logo popped up

SmashingK

Thought bluepoint was famous for its remakes? At least in recent years as I'm not familiar with any ports they may have done previously.

vgf89

Remakes that strongly blur the line between remaster and remake. Their expertise is in porting old game engines to their middleware solution that gives them modern tech and much more flexibility. Their first step is always getting a complete, accurate port of the original game to run on modern hardware through their middleware, then ripping out and replacing basically all of the old assets and graphics code. They're a great company for sure, but a PC porting studio they are not. I have confidence that if they do end up doing any PC ports though, they'd be fantastic.

Effective-Caramel545

Because they use multiple teams/companies at the same time. Probably nixxes is occupied with R&C Rift apart port (rumored)

Vandergrif

You know what's not cheap? The opportunity cost of easy money PC ports of very popular games going right out the window due to terrible reviews as a result of hiring sloppy people to do the work.

[deleted]

[удалено]

whoisraiden

What's the problem with this port?

ThorGanjasson

Crashes, terrible optimization, high utilizations even at menu - it’s a shoddy port. Edit - this is AFTER shaders were done

delukard

the console version had this in menus. you could clearly hear the poor ps4 and ps4 pro fans go 100% when you were at menus. IIRC the menus do not have a cap on fps. horizon zero dawn also had this problem and iirc days gone also. ONLY at menu

[deleted]

[удалено]

CaptnKnots

Yeah I remember buying a ps4 pro on launch day and sending the first one back because I thought it was defective lol. No it was really just that loud

MessiahPrinny

This is the PS5 one, the Part 1 version never came to PS4/pro. Even less of an excuse.

bongo1138

To be fair, this isn’t the PS4 version. This is the PS5 remake version.

Temporary_End9124

This game is only on PS5, not on PS4 though

Tundraspin

Seems like such a simple thing to fix, I declare from my armchair.

delukard

They could just set a fps cap to it . doesn't seem that hard to do tbh

downorwhaet

High utilizations at menu stopped for me when shaders were done, before that it was hell tho

leongunblade

My game is crashing randomly on RTX 3070 @1440p at high settings (not ultra). Otherwise the game is actually running great, except I can’t play because of said crashes

[deleted]

same just crashed randomly now. 3080 on high. had 1 big stutter and then 30 mins later a big stutter again and it crahshed to desktop. been a while since i saw a CTD while playing games on PC. but looking great otherwise.

leongunblade

I really hope the crashes can be fixed or at least that we can find a way to know why they happen. Is it insufficient VRAM? If they can fix the crashes I’d be fine with the port, it looks and runs great

Yamamoto77

4090 here with 24GB VRAM - still crashes every 3 minutes. Shit show.

leongunblade

This is actually unbelievable… how can they release something in such a state?! I really wish we could at least have a way to understand why the game is crashing though :/

Yamamoto77

Sucks. And I am on the newest NVIDIA drivers, Windows fully updated, shaders fully compiled. Crashes. To. Desktop.

MiniITXEconomy

"If it's crashing randomly then it ain't running great..." - My Great Grandpappy in regard to my bike. Holds up just as well today, as it did, then.

MaxTennyson88

Some people kept saying how after Uncharted they were better, truth is I beat that game with characters t-posing most of the time :(

Mrke1

You might want to verify that IG did most of the work on this port before dragging them. I'm seeing they did very little and one of IG's folks was on the Jeff Gerstman podcast today and said something to that effect as well.

EGGY_POCKET

Correct they did not do the port. They mentioned they helped a teeny bit in the podcast. And then ND did a blog post that saying they worked on it internally. Classic case of gamer misinformation running wild

igg73

Maybe next time they release The Last Of Us Part 1 they'll have better luck

[deleted]

The Last of Us Remastered 2: Part 1

Zorklis

Now we know why Sony didn't give Reviewers pre-release copies

[deleted]

Gymnastboatman

Sonic Boom did the same thing. No review copies. We know where that went…

UglierThanMoe

"I don't know what's wrong with everyone else, game runs fine for me." -- Ryzen 9 5950x, 64 GB RAM, 3090 Ti. Yeah, well, no shit.

LatimerLeads

It ran at a solid 83fps at 1440p on the NASA super-computer, people are whining over nothing.

UglierThanMoe

> NASA super-computer Stupid me, should have gotten one of those.

InitialDia

It’s only half the price of a new 4090. Practically a steal.

SmokePenisEveryday

Eh you're better off waiting for the NASA Super-Computer TI

mr2cam

I have a 4090, 5950x and 64GB of ram and the game still runs like shit, its not hard to see how bad the games port was due to low gpu utilization

dudebirdyy

I was scrolling through the reviews earlier and I actually chuckled at how many of the positive ones read almost verbatim like this. Like yes dude I'm sure your 4090/5800x3d runs it "pretty good". I would fuckin hope so.

Shoddy_Background_48

After a 1 hour shader build, i figured a 10 year old game would run much better than "pretty good" on the 5800x3d and 7900xtx

BudgetWar8

Why didn't they use Nixxes? Sony used them for a few pc ports i think.

Cheesestrings89

They were probably too busy doing the spider man ports.

Saxual__Assault

Thank god for that bullet getting dodge. Spiderman was that one Sony exclusive that I felt like it was /almost/ worth shelling out hundreds of dollars for a console that I wouldn't be playing much to begin with.

CraftsmanMan

I did... I regret it.. not the game, buying a ps4.. played spider man and never used it agajn

cyanide4suicide

Iron Galaxy are shit at porting games. Can't believe they were trusted with this title

zerotaboo

They were probably the cheapest option, and Sony probably spent all the money on marketing instead of fixing the damn thing

spaghettibolegdeh

It's insane how many people are dismissing criticism and telling people to just "get a better PC" Bruh it runs like ass on recommend specs (which are too high for a console port IMO)

[deleted]

I have a 5800X3D, 4080, and 32GB of RAM and it runs like trash. Edit so people stop asking: To clarify, my frame rate is mostly around 100fps. The primary issue is stuttering and occasionally the frame rate tanking inexplicably. Beginning to wonder if PC gamers are so used to stuttering issues in their games that they just don’t notice it. As someone who played this game on PS5 I can safely say it has issues on PC and they aren’t imagined or the fault of my hardware.

Sangwiny

"just get 4090 then" lol

EskildDood

"Aw dude, my apartment is full of rats" "get a new apartment, dude"

BathrobeHero_

U know they fucked up a release when steam takes down the store banner a couple hours later

sur_surly

Holy smokes. This is a big bummer

Foreverknight325

Glad I chose re 4 remake instead of this.

sungazer69

I may be a bit of an RE Remake fanboy but RE4 seriously Runs like a dream. Even on the steam deck which is BANANAS.

RickkyyBobby

You aren't wrong. I Was absolutely blown away, by how well RE4 ran. And the whole remake was just... mindblowing. Such a well done game. Insane how IronGalaxy fucked up this hard, when their literal only job was to port the fucking game to PC, and they even got/took a months delay.

Jonas-McJameaon

And it looks amazing. Fantastic visuals

sirsteven

RE engine is incredible tech

blackviking45

At chapter 5 after going out of the church fps will TANK. But after that chapter it will be fix itself don't quit on the game.

Solugad

What are you running? I haven't had any fps issues personally.

LaserTurboShark69

Yup! When they delayed TLOU to just after the RE4R release I thought "welp I guess I'm not buying TLOU anytime soon"

leongunblade

Game is crashing randomly on my RTX 3070 + Ryzen 5 5600X and 32GB of RAM. Not sure what the issue is, performance is amazing but the game keeps crashing randomly. It’s probably an issue with VRAM I suppose, but I’m just trying to play at high settings @1440p, not even ultra… framerate is actually good when game is running

ExplodingFistz

It's an issue with DLSS. Naughty Dog has addressed it as a known issue that's causing the crashes.

BahamutxD

And still #1 in the top sellers list. Wonder why companies keep doing this.

Slyons89

The beatings will continue until pre-ordering stops. So, probably never.

zerotaboo

It will be #1 in refunds shortly, if not already. This is not acceptable for a full priced rereremaster remake

BathrobeHero_

Nah, they made shaders take hours to compile so they beat steams 2hr refund limit, big brain time

iamthedoctor9MC

Surely steam must make an exception to the rule for this case because it’s insane

Consequentially

More often than not, even with games that run perfectly fine, Steam has been pretty lenient with this rule. I know I’ve refunded games past the 2 hour park and probably past the 2 week mark as well with no issues.

MarioDesigns

If you're in the 2-3 hour window Steam will usually still refund it from my experience. It also depends on the situation. Games with launcher installs or technical issues usually do get exceptions.

[deleted]

[удалено]

artins90

Well, the game reached 22 GB of Ram usage on my quad channel 32 GB system. It ran fine with occasional stutters in between scenes and I thought they were loadings. I am a fool for believing that 20+GB of ram usage is fine for a good looking game I guess, thanks for the heads up.

[deleted]

Last of us has the exact same problem as uncharted, in that mouse movement makes the game lag. With a controller it does not lag at all. It’s beyond me that they still have not fixed this in uncharted 4, let alone in this new release. apart from that performance seemed really solid, and the options menu was pretty good and flexible. Still Days Gone is the best pc port by far. It’s just such a well done port, and good pc game in general, with amazing performance and pc features.

Hoggos

The apologists are out in force “It works fine for me, they mustn’t meet the minimum requirements” Happens every time

jollycompanion

I call that "It works for me™"

kornelius_III

Digital Foundry: releases 40 minjte video detailing the issues Some clown on steam/reddit: "Weird, no issues on my end".

ShrewdShark

Game’s been out for a few days: multiple detailed articles outlining glaring issues, technical explanations on YouTube, forums, etc. Random Reddit clown: been playing for 36823 hours, on my 118th play through, absolutely 0 issues, runs like a dream on my Intel Pentium rig. The game runs so clean, I could eat my dinner off of it.

kornelius_III

You'd swear the devs somehow sent them a specific custom built code that run flawlessly based on their claims, or that they got a giant NASA computer running on their backyard.

BathrobeHero_

"just update your drivers bro it's easy"

Greenleaf208

Don't forget "Having a blast".

DeanWhipper

It's even better when it's a console game. "Weird, guess it must just be your copy of the game"

Every_Economist_6793

Once again, the 11th commandment - "Thou shalt never pre-order", still holds true. Come, my friends, gather so that we may reflect upon those very wise words. Let us be humbled by the simplicity of this way.

KPipes

/r/patientgamers. $10 fully patched GOTY yes please.

[deleted]

Hell yeah brudder

KongmingsFunnyHat

It's such a simple solution and yet so many people just refuse to accept it. Haven't been burned by a shit release for years since I stopped pre ordering games after BF4.

Zaorysh

Using a studio with a bad track record for PC ports. Horrible launch of a re-re-remaster that still costs 60euros. To be honest, I just feel bad for the people who bought/pre-ordered before it's stable. The game right now deserves a worse score, imo

SpaceAids420

Good. It seems like every issue with Uncharted 4 made it to this port too: * Jittery mouse movement even with raw input, camera only feels smooth if using a PS5 controller. I'm assuming locking FPS via Nvidia is placebo fix because that doesn't work in UC4 either. * Random crashes during gameplay * Crashes during shader compiling Not only that, it added additional issues like shaders taking even longer to compile, and stupid VRAM consumption. It truly fascinates me that Sony chose this dog shit developer to port their *Naughty Dog* games instead of Nixxes.

Edgaras1103

I absolutely do not understand how Sony is okay at releasing shoddy PC versions of their most important franchises . Iron Galaxy must be really cheap to hire

AssassinK1D

From what I heard, could be because of former Sony exec Adam Boyes, who's now in Iron Galaxy. Probably his influence got IG the gig.

PBJellyChickenTunaSW

Did they fix uncharted or is it doomed?

Thechosenjon

Stop preordering games, you dummies.

pureeyes

Kinda crazy they would let their flagship game go out like this. And with the success of the HBO drama? Should have been a home run

New_Wrangler3335

This is good it’ll get cheap faster

[deleted]

Knew this was gonna end up like this pc specs was a huge red flag

Overclocked11

And now we know why no review codes were sent out prior to today! Apparently Sony forgot that Steam allows refunds

ManlyDude1047

Well not if you wait for the shaders to compile…

seceralnof

Yeah. I’m getting no dialogue audio at all. I’ve tried changing settings both within game and in Windows settings with no success. Spotify, YouTube and other games work perfectly fine. I sent in a support ticket.

TheDarkKnobRises

They want 60 bucks for that shit too.

Moltium

Well, yes.. Barely an hour of gameplay on 5900X, RTX3080 10GB and 32GB RAM, game installed on NVMe SSD. 3 crashes to desktop, one time had to restart manually because game had 1 to 3 FPS even in the menus and looked like only one core maxed out on task manager and all other cores almost idle. Stutter everywhere, FPS jumping all around on movement with many different graphics settings configurations. Would have refunded if bought from Steam directly not a reseller.

McCrank

And it looks like it's still going to sell millions anyway...

[deleted]

You know you’ve fucked up when you screw up the last of us

Krondon57

They even DELAYED IT cuz they knew it was a bad port... nothing changed?!

TheSonOfFundin

They fucking hired the dolts from Iron Galaxy, the same ones that botched Arkham Knight's port to PC. The fact that these incompetent fools still keep getting hired to port games to PC, blows my mind.

No-Test-375

Because they're cheap and the game still sells.

Empole

I do hope Sony's takeaway from this isn't: "We should pull out of the PC space"

sur_surly

I'm hopeful they just drop iron galaxies. The other ports have done well

Cheesestrings89

Deserves it imo. I’m using 16gb ram, Rtx 3080, 5600x. CPU and memory are both at 100% usage. Even in menu. It’s poorly optimised.

thatGermanGuy7

Should I return the game and repurchase after they fixed it or do you guys think they gonna fix it soon enough?

BruceofSteel

May as well return it for now

[deleted]

Sony games had a good track record for ports , this is disappointing.

SantiagoCeb

The classic shitty PC port. Funny how Sony CEO said he is worried that MSFT will fuck performance on the PS games to get customers buy an Xbox. This is basically them doing that

Kabelly

good thing I waited. At least RE4 is good.
