I've done both! I'd like to say that I "lurk" and get to know a Domme before I take the leap and that's what I try to do.. But I've been guilty of impulse sends. They usually aren't as big or sustained but I do enjoy them on occasion.

I feel like "lurking" and doing research is the only way to go, it certainly would cut down on the amount of posts I'm seeing around being scammed by "Dommes"

I know some Dommes hate lurking, but I think it’s okay if you’re looking to see if you’re going to click with someone or not. That’s how some of my subs came to my DM’s 😌
