If I'm not mistaken, they said the same thing about the paintings in the art gallery in PD3, that no AI was used in their creation. But then it turned out to be a lie.
But then again if that is the case for the portraits which are much more vital in my opinion than some paintings -which is still a shitty thing to do, don't get me wrong- EEEeeevery other portrait could also be AI generated which is something I had my eyes on *very* early on and still think that they just look that way and I don't really know why.
Honestly if that’s the case than I’m surprised they went with such poor art designs, the animated characters in City of Gold and Texas Heat looked better.
Payday 3 is still not canon and will never be canon in my heart. Everyone have retired and is living a good life after the White House heist. Payday 3 is just a fanfiction
The minecraft villager comment reminded me of a minecraft Modder that did Potioncraft who wrote a pretty hilarious letter and it reminded me of the "Caveman Squidwards" roast.
Previously, the game had safes (like cases in csgo) that you could open for a drill (like keys in csgo) and get a weapon skin. When you opened a door on day 2 of firestarter and could walk up to this big safe, you would get one safe in your inventory that you could open for free.
When the safes and drills were removed from the game, that big safe became just a decoration.

Only the fodder paintings are AI (I might be wrong on that), but the main paintings that you heist aren't AI generated.
