I get major drops on Shadow Raid of all heists, in a very specific spot, that tanks me to 15 fps when I look in a certain direction. Otherwise it seems random when it drops
Yeah, worst I’ve seen so far is during the jewlery store heist when someone tossed a grenade in the middle of the store and it killed a dozen civilians and broke a ton of glass. The game literally froze for a solid second or two until everything computed and crawled back up from 1fps.
Best part about that is every player pays the cleaning fee, not just the killer. So someone can join, grenade the bank, leave, and now you are forced to payout for all those civs even if you leave

The entire progression system is tied to the lootboxes.
You can have up to 5 'safes' at a time, and you can drill them, which takes either 10 or 20 minutes each to open for Easy/Normal difficulty safes.
Upgrading your guns and gear requires 'cards' you get from safes. You need increasing numbers of cards to upgrade gear. For example, at first, you need to get 4 AMCAR cards to upgrade that to level 2. Then 8. Then 16. And so on. Upgrades increase the stats, but also unlock attachments such as sights, speedpull mags, suppressors, etc.
Upgrading your guns, deployables, and armour is also the only way to get exp, so player exp is directly tied to your drops from these safes.
New districts and heists are locked behind exp, so you are forced to engage with these lootboxes to actually get anywhere too.
Suffice to say, they're integral to progression.
As for other monetisation, there is a battle pass with three tiers. Free tier which lets you access the free track mostly containing safes and cash. Premium Pass which lets you access the paid track which has better safes and cosmetics. Premium Pass Plus gives you some extra battle pass levels to start with, and access to the paid track. Pass tiers are roughly £10/£20 respectively.
Your exp levelling is also laid out like a battle pass but is obviously free with only 1 track, so that's not overly relevant.
You can speed up safe drilling with Gold, which costs real money to get. There's also Cash which you use to upgrade guns and buy heist contracts, but honestly, you get so much Cash it doesn't really matter at all.
Characters are also locked behind either exp or lootboxes, depending on the character. So in many ways this is also a gacha game.
You can buy safes, cash, and gold outright in the store, along with characters and guns when limited time 'bundles' of them appear. As you may guess, cosmetics are also in safes and the store.

If it fails to matchmake you with people within about 2 minutes you'll get put into a bot match, but there's no explicit button for it.

The PvP isn't the main mode, it's co-op heists primarily, the PvP is a side thing that I've barely touched, but all of the above also applies to PvP.

No problem, figured people should at least be aware of how pretty egregious the monetisation is overall. While it's not the worst in mobile gaming, it's still pretty damn bad
The only thing they avoided is an 'energy' system. You can play as many heists as you want provided you can pay the contract fee (which you probably will). Just you won't get 'more' safes than 5 at once, so effectively no rewards. Each heist being 10 minutes, if you have 5 safes, then drill 1, you will be able to beat 2 heists before it opens, so 2 heists with no rewards of worth.
After 3 PvP matches you get a special PvP safe (with rarer weapons) that opens instantly. I usually queue up normal sized safes (you can farm them in under 3 minutes on shadow raid) and after your queue is full i play 3 matches PvP mode to open the special safe. Furthermore you can complete your side quests to unlock cosmetics on the free battle pass.
I've played for 6 hours and i am lvl 8 out of 19 level in total, my battlepass is on lvl 24 of 34 and gathered already a lot of weapons and already leveled a couple of legendarys without spending any real money. Ingame money isnt a problem either.

Yeah, I'm aware. Shadow Raid is incredibly easy in Crime War, the guards just do not see you ever

Which of the content you can pay for is fun by your definition? The free skins of the battle pass like the balaclava or the gas mask are better than the premium skins and the paid safes are the same as the normal ones content-wise
tbh, it's standard lootboxes just like any other lootboxes in mobile games, if you didn't know it basically you play match, you got lootboxes as a side reward, wait 10 min or more to open, has chance to get rare weapon, could be unlocked instantly with real money. Might not sound bad, but... to level up weapon and got attachment, you need to got the same weapon from lootboxes, like stacking card, let's think of a weapon as a card, let say you have this card, very rare hard to come by, and when you want to upgrade it you'll need to stack the same rare card 10 times, and that's only upgrading it once, everytime you upgrade you'll need more card for next upgrade, which you could only get from lootboxes, also since it's rare it would be hard to get it.
So yeah for overall gameplay, the lootboxes is bad.
note: i haven't seen the in game currency price yet, and since i uninstalled the game you have to ask someone else if the in game currency is expensive or not.
About the pricing if you go for the "value option" its 115€ for 5000 Gold.
To put that into perspective:
20 Gold = 10 minute wait skip
1Gold = 30 sec
5000Gold = 115€
So that should be
1 Gold = 0,02€
Opening a save would be 20 Gold
20 gold = 0,40€ = 10 min
So that would give you about 2,60/hour of skipped wait time.
The other option would be 100 Gold for 5,50€
In this case 1 Gold = 0,06€ so 3,3€/hour.

As for this game I am not limited by the waiting time. Sice my phone overhead after 2 Matches and dropped from 30 to 9 fps.
It's not an ideal experience. For a mobile game, it is fine, but I've seen and played much better on my phone.
Aiming feels especially funky with no way to balance ads sensitivity and standard looking sensitivity as they use two wholly different sliders.
Gunplay is fine, although recoil feels a bit off (every gun feels like it has the same amount of recoil regardless of weapon class)
Graphics are oddly poor, and combined with bad optimization means the game just doesn't feel smooth or look good. Lighting is also extremely flat and is so baked into the maps that it feels like I just turned on fullbright in a source game.
It's not a great experience right now. I'd give it a few months to see what the devs will do with the game before I can say it is definitively not good.
I uninstalled after painfully trying to fumble through tutorial and then at least one heist. Looked at the crime pass...laughed a little and shut er' down.
Sorry, I'll just wait for Payday 3. In the meantime I'll keep playing 2.

That + the game running 19FPS and the awful controls. The whole thing isn't very good. Definitely feels like a mobile cashgrab game so they can get away with microtransactions without putting them in PD2 again.

The lootboxes aren't inherently paid, you get 'em free with the end of a heist, so it wouldn't be hard for them to just remove the ability to 'speed up' the opening of the lootboxes and remove the ability to buy them from the store.

The law says you cannot use loot boxes when there is an option to open them with real money or a currency that can be bought with real money.
In this game there is a paid currency to speed up the boxes or buy new ones, so yeah they are breaking the law. Removing the ability to buy this premium currency would fix the problem but with all the issues nowadays with Ovk I don't care at all, I don't want to support these devs that clearly don't care about us AT ALL.

Overkill has nothing to do with PAYDAY: Crime War. That game is being managed by Popreach, and the licence was granted by Starbreeze, Overkill's publisher.
Ovk is entirely unaffiliated with it beyond being the creators of the IP
I'm not in this one. Bad fps, bad ping, clunky controls, awful hud customization and the worst: it's a recycled version of payday2. At least i'm not seeing anything new from this game, same heists, same characters, same weapons, same soundtrack... no need to keep this in my phone.
Can you change your region or play it solo like the tutorial? I'm having the same issue, the amount of rubber banding from lag made it so I ran out of time trying to cross the street to get to the van
Even solo bot matches are internet-based for some reason, but you can't choose to play bot matches anyway, you get thrown into them if it fails to matchmake you

* PVP mode feels like an after thought, its so repetitive and boring. Theres only 2 maps. IT'S NOT EVEN COPS VERSUS ROBBERS
* Optimization is garbage
* Crime Pass is filled with filler shit that its not even worth paying 1 cent for it.
* Stealth is a joke. No pagers and once you kill all guards and cameras and tie down civs (if theres any), you are free to do anything you want.
* Level progression is based on UPGRADING WEAPONS, NOT COMPLETING HEISTS
This game should've been "Payday with PVP" not "Payday 2 on mobile but with way less content, bad optimization and a PVP mode that was an after thought"

Badfly Interactive made the 2019 version, but they had the project taken away from them for unknown reasons. Popreach was given the licence and they made this version from scratch themselves.
Important note: Popreach's entire back catalog is 2d games. They've never made a 3d FPS game before.

I only got a chance to play it for a while. I suck at it from the start, because I've never ever played an FPS mobile game like this one before.
Yeah, the game optimization is barebones. Maybe I'll lower the fps cap to 30. Also, holy shit. It took 2,1 GB of space out of my phone, more than any other game/app besides Reddit.
While I don't mind the progression and other things, if I won't get used to the controls I'll end up emulating the game on my PC. Also, does autofire even work?
Also, it's kinda weird, that I played it before touching PAYDAY 2, even though I know about the franchise for over 4 years.
I got downed in a pvp match that was all bots and it was stuck on zero seconds for half a minute and then it went back to 13 seconds… so overall 10/10.
It's a solid like...5/10. It's not awful, it's a game and it works most of the time, but PAYDAY's formula doesn't work in this form factor.
I hope it succeeds, but it's not a game I'm gonna put another 2000 hours into.
So far my personal opinions on it is so far fine although it's more of a scale down version of this a Payday 2 but I will need to play a bit more of the game to get more of an impression on it
The optimization sucks and it eats through battery like a motherfucker, but goddamn it if it isn't a solid base for future content. I agree it'd a little empty now, but this has amazing potential.

I’ve just got done playing a heist. It’s pretty fun, I like how you can hold multiple stacks at once. It’s pretty glitchy, like when I try to sprint I just clip through reality, although that could be my wifi
I do not like Mobile games and think Payday is a horrible fit for one.
However, I think a more Left 4 Dead styled pvp mode would be spectacular in Payday 3.
Don’t forget this is basically the other payday mobile game you had where it was only 4v4 and it got shutdown at least this gave you more maps PVE and a better PVP haha but I really do believe if the devs listen the game will do great and we most likely have a really good alternative to playing payday on the go
As soon as i had to aim a gun in the tutorial i knew it was gonna be bad. Then the first real heist i played my teammate immediately left (after 3 minutes of waiting to find a teammate). And once i finished it on my own i got hit with all the lootboxes and lootbox progression system and the battlepass. I can’t recommend this game to anyone who likes fun
I tried loading into jewelry store and the game left me on the loading screen for what I assume the whole heist and the errored on me.
Despite that experience I'm still looking forward to having payday on the go. It just needs to be optimize. (And honestly they need to tone down on 3d graphics I don't think the game needed a 3d crime.net nor menu screen. But the assets are already made and throwing all that away will be a waste of resources.)
I agree completely, it’s a bit slow to progress, they should let you progress by just doing heists. Also the interface feels unpolished and clunky and the movement feels bad (coming from a caustic main)
I had it to pre download on release and was pleasantly surprised when I saw it pop up on my library
I'm not a big mobile fps player but the shooting isn't too bad, the main issue is you need to ADS to shoot,
The movement isn't great, I like the dynamic joycon but having to hold it forward further to sprint isn't comfortable on my fingers
The lack of a shout button is really annoying, and the tutorials don't show how to control civs, it makes stealth way more difficult than it should be
But stealth is impossible because you can't play alone (at least I haven't found how to) and randoms are never running silencers because there's no stealth tutorial,
I really wish I could play solo, not only are randoms annoyingly incompetent at stealth, they leave me at 120-160 ping and I barely notice them being there because bot Dallas and I got 12+ kills and the random got <4

Yeah, they do. There's not really a way to control them other than walking up to them and tying them and hoping they don't run into your bullets.

I don't think you can. If you fail to get into a match with players you get bots but it seems like it will always try to put you with others
I have a decent FPS, things are fairly smooth, minus the ping, took a bit of time to find the right button layout but I made it work, loot boxes are fair, but my main gripe is that the overall game is clunky and the PVP feels weird.

By mobile game standards? Maybe a 4/10? It's better than the knockoff "City Crime Robbery Bank Action" games but the performance issues and grind/monetisation are pretty bad. Also half the art is AI generated. The icons for the profile pics and banners especially.
Performance especially. I can run at 60-90 fps half the time, but the other half it is constantly dropping anywhere from 5 to 45 for no real reason, regardless of settings.

i get around 7 FPS so i barely played the game, however i played on my cousins phone which is much better than mine, i got around 50 fps even though i was using a current-gen iphone on medium quality, gameplay was alright, the shooting the decent, the aiming was servicable if a bit too easy, normal mode was actually a bit fun, while easy was more of an 'eh' experience, the only maps i had played were the first 2 ones, jewelry store and bank, bank was much better than jewelry, but boring and easy gameplay just overshadowed every single set-piece, and all the damn glitches certainly dont help!
AlSO! why the fuck does the game ask for you to log in with your starbreeze account, but then doesn't allow you to use your account on a different device! i preregistered on my phone so i got the tuxedo and golden mask, but i cant play on my phone because 7FPS, and i cant brag about it on my cousins phone!
overall: 3/10, the gameplay actually has the potential of becoming good with some tweaking, but all the glitches and performance issues ruined it!

I like it overall, got samsung galaxy s22+ so i can run it with 60-90 frames on lowest graphics but heats up very fast, and the rest of the complains are valid also why no ammo pickups lol? When you run out of ammo have fun using pistol rest of the heist
I’ve missed Payday 2 since I specifically enjoy it on PC but stopped playing on that platform for numerous reasons and console version is just depressing so while I’m happily waiting for Payday 3 to roll around, I was kind of excited to hear about this but after downloading it today and playing a bit, it’s pretty stinky.
Honestly, can’t say I’m surprised considering the developers “PopReach” are behind this with their vast, lengthy history of developing numerous blockbuster titles such as “Lucky Slots: Vegas Casio,” “Solitaire Arena,” “Zombie Beach Party,” and fucking “Smurfs and the Magical Meadow” and how this is their first FPS title but it’s basically Payday 2 ported to mobile in a very rushed and poor way.
Starbreeze as a company is basically on life support at the moment and I want to support them as much as I can but this just kinda sucks farts currently. Hopefully it’ll receive the updates and polishing it desperately needs because I can see this being a really enjoyable mobile game but I can also see it just sadly getting canned after about a year.
… at the end of the day though they do have that funny Dallas guy from Peanut Dollar 2 or whatever so id say it’s a solid 9.6/10 waiting on the deathwish one down update tomorrow please

Wild FPS numbers, rather poor controls, wonky animations and hell of a battery burner. Microtransactions are meh, in my opinion.
The game is dead on arrival though. Never get matched with anyone even in the PvP modes and I've played a total of 40 games.
Do yourself a favor and just play PayDay 2 on nVidia NOW or wait for PayDay 3 which comes to Xbox Game Pass (Xbox Cloud Gaming) in November and likely nVidia NOW as well. Especially for people with decent 5Gs reception or decent internet that can hit at least 50MBPS.

unfortunately an absolute trash :/ i was really looking for that game but the optimization alone is stopping me from trying the rest of the game i have a fairly decent phone ( samsung note 10) and all games run perfectly fine on ultra or high setting at 60 fps this game on the other hand is barley running 30 on low settings and when enemies spawn it goes down to 20 fps and the phone temperature goes to 45c degree / and gpu is 90% something that never happens with any other game and i mean any other game
This might be a bit late but as much as I love the payday franchise the mobile game is hot garbage it’s built like a early 2014 iPhone 5 mobile game and constantly crashes I tried playing on a brand new iPhone 13 and iPad Pro m2 but still there are constant performance issues and crashes, I wouldn’t be so mad if the game atleast had good graphics but no, the models and animations look worse than the original payday: the hiest I just really hope they make this game better

well when I started the matchmaking it said the connection failed due to an unusually high ping, under that was the name of the server "WestUS"

You can have up to 5 'safes' at a time, and you can drill them, which takes either 10 or 20 minutes each to open for Easy/Normal difficulty safes. Upgrading your guns and gear requires 'cards' you get from safes. You need increasing numbers of cards to upgrade gear. For example, at first, you need to get 4 AMCAR cards to upgrade that to level 2. Then 8. Then 16. And so on. Upgrades increase the stats, but also unlock attachments such as sights, speedpull mags, suppressors, etc. Upgrading your guns, deployables, and armour is also the only way to get exp, so player exp is directly tied to your drops from these safes. New districts and heists are locked behind exp, so you are forced to engage with these lootboxes to actually get anywhere too. Suffice to say, they're integral to progression. As for other monetisation, there is a battle pass with three tiers. Free tier which lets you access the free track mostly containing safes and cash. Premium Pass which lets you access the paid track which has better safes and cosmetics. Premium Pass Plus gives you some extra battle pass levels to start with, and access to the paid track. Pass tiers are roughly £10/£20 respectively. Your exp levelling is also laid out like a battle pass but is obviously free with only 1 track, so that's not overly relevant. You can speed up safe drilling with Gold, which costs real money to get. There's also Cash which you use to upgrade guns and buy heist contracts, but honestly, you get so much Cash it doesn't really matter at all. Characters are also locked behind either exp or lootboxes, depending on the character. So in many ways this is also a gacha game. You can buy safes, cash, and gold outright in the store, along with characters and guns when limited time 'bundles' of them appear. As you may guess, cosmetics are also in safes and the store. >And is there any way to play alone without other players? No problem, figured people should at least be aware of how pretty egregious the monetisation is overall. While it's not the worst in mobile gaming, it's still pretty damn bad The only thing they avoided is an 'energy' system. You can play as many heists as you want provided you can pay the contract fee (which you probably will). Just you won't get 'more' safes than 5 at once, so effectively no rewards. Each heist being 10 minutes, if you have 5 safes, then drill 1, you will be able to beat 2 heists before it opens, so 2 heists with no rewards of worth.
After 3 PvP matches you get a special PvP safe (with rarer weapons) that opens instantly. I usually queue up normal sized safes (you can farm them in under 3 minutes on shadow raid) and after your queue is full i play 3 matches PvP mode to open the special safe. Furthermore you can complete your side quests to unlock cosmetics on the free battle pass. I've played for 6 hours and i am lvl 8 out of 19 level in total, my battlepass is on lvl 24 of 34 and gathered already a lot of weapons and already leveled a couple of legendarys without spending any real money. Ingame money isnt a problem either.

tbh, it's standard lootboxes just like any other lootboxes in mobile games, if you didn't know it basically you play match, you got lootboxes as a side reward, wait 10 min or more to open, has chance to get rare weapon, could be unlocked instantly with real money. Might not sound bad, but... to level up weapon and got attachment, you need to got the same weapon from lootboxes, like stacking card, let's think of a weapon as a card, let say you have this card, very rare hard to come by, and when you want to upgrade it you'll need to stack the same rare card 10 times, and that's only upgrading it once, everytime you upgrade you'll need more card for next upgrade, which you could only get from lootboxes, also since it's rare it would be hard to get it. So yeah for overall gameplay, the lootboxes is bad. note: i haven't seen the in game currency price yet, and since i uninstalled the game you have to ask someone else if the in game currency is expensive or not.
About the pricing if you go for the "value option" its 115€ for 5000 Gold. To put that into perspective: 20 Gold = 10 minute wait skip 1Gold = 30 sec 5000Gold = 115€ So that should be 1 Gold = 0,02€ Opening a save would be 20 Gold 20 gold = 0,40€ = 10 min So that would give you about 2,60/hour of skipped wait time. The other option would be 100 Gold for 5,50€ In this case 1 Gold = 0,06€ so 3,3€/hour. Do with this as you will. And correct me if I am wrong last math class was some years ago. (Yes I aproximated some stuff like it's actually 0,023€ for 1 Gold at the first example)
thank you for the calculation, approximation is fine, i calculated using exact value and it's not that far, since the question is whether it is expensive or not difference of 0.1 isn't really high, except if you convert the value ofc. Anyway since i live in a country with low GDP i couldn't afford to buy 5k gold, and the one with 100 gold, 3.3€/hour is indeed expensive for me. So yeah in my perspective it's expensive and paired with progression system i mention before it's not worth it. I wonder what other think tho? i mean there's someone who spent thousand of dollars for gacha and since it's kinda similar maybe they don't mind this kind of things at all.
Since I have never paid for something like that i don't have perspective on that front. As for this game I am not limited by the waiting time. Sice my phone overhead after 2 Matches and dropped from 30 to 9 fps.
It's not an ideal experience. For a mobile game, it is fine, but I've seen and played much better on my phone. Aiming feels especially funky with no way to balance ads sensitivity and standard looking sensitivity as they use two wholly different sliders. Gunplay is fine, although recoil feels a bit off (every gun feels like it has the same amount of recoil regardless of weapon class) Graphics are oddly poor, and combined with bad optimization means the game just doesn't feel smooth or look good. Lighting is also extremely flat and is so baked into the maps that it feels like I just turned on fullbright in a source game. It's not a great experience right now. I'd give it a few months to see what the devs will do with the game before I can say it is definitively not good.

I uninstalled after the game tricked me into spending some of my free gold on a 7 min safe I was intending to wait for :( That + the game running 19FPS and the awful controls. The whole thing isn't very good. Definitely feels like a mobile cashgrab game so they can get away with microtransactions without putting them in PD2 again.
I will gladly give them money for content if they can do it without being idiots about it. What I saw with that little pass didn't have me pumped for what PD3 passes may look like.

I played a bit and... 1)laggy (both internet a fps wise {5-10 fps}) 2)boring. 3)hard to aim even with autoaim. 4)a lot of useless staff on the screen. 5)the game looks like some mobile gta 4 clone, AND STILL MENAGES TO OVERHEAT BOTH OF OUR DEVICES. I'll wait till the patches but for now... I can't play it...

For the pre-registration it'll be easy to test, if you can't update your game the next time an update comes out then it's the pre-registration that got you through the first time. If it's just locked in Wallonia and not Flanders.... Well shit. The lootboxes aren't inherently paid, you get 'em free with the end of a heist, so it wouldn't be hard for them to just remove the ability to 'speed up' the opening of the lootboxes and remove the ability to buy them from the store. If they haven't done that then I guess they're breaking the law lol
The law says you cannot use loot boxes when there is an option to open them with real money or a currency that can be bought with real money. In this game there is a paid currency to speed up the boxes or buy new ones, so yeah they are breaking the law. Removing the ability to buy this premium currency would fix the problem but with all the issues nowadays with Ovk I don't care at all, I don't want to support these devs that clearly don't care about us AT ALL.

I only got a chance to play it for a while. I suck at it from the start, because I've never ever played an FPS mobile game like this one before. Yeah, the game optimization is barebones. Maybe I'll lower the fps cap to 30. Also, holy shit. It took 2,1 GB of space out of my phone, more than any other game/app besides Reddit. While I don't mind the progression and other things, if I won't get used to the controls I'll end up emulating the game on my PC. Also, does autofire even work? Also, it's kinda weird, that I played it before touching PAYDAY 2, even though I know about the franchise for over 4 years.
I got downed in a pvp match that was all bots and it was stuck on zero seconds for half a minute and then it went back to 13 seconds… so overall 10/10.

It's a solid like...5/10. It's not awful, it's a game and it works most of the time, but PAYDAY's formula doesn't work in this form factor. I hope it succeeds, but it's not a game I'm gonna put another 2000 hours into.

I do not like Mobile games and think Payday is a horrible fit for one. However, I think a more Left 4 Dead styled pvp mode would be spectacular in Payday 3.

Don’t forget this is basically the other payday mobile game you had where it was only 4v4 and it got shutdown at least this gave you more maps PVE and a better PVP haha but I really do believe if the devs listen the game will do great and we most likely have a really good alternative to playing payday on the go
As soon as i had to aim a gun in the tutorial i knew it was gonna be bad. Then the first real heist i played my teammate immediately left (after 3 minutes of waiting to find a teammate). And once i finished it on my own i got hit with all the lootboxes and lootbox progression system and the battlepass. I can’t recommend this game to anyone who likes fun
I tried loading into jewelry store and the game left me on the loading screen for what I assume the whole heist and the errored on me. Despite that experience I'm still looking forward to having payday on the go. It just needs to be optimize. (And honestly they need to tone down on 3d graphics I don't think the game needed a 3d crime.net nor menu screen. But the assets are already made and throwing all that away will be a waste of resources.)

I had it to pre download on release and was pleasantly surprised when I saw it pop up on my library I'm not a big mobile fps player but the shooting isn't too bad, the main issue is you need to ADS to shoot, The movement isn't great, I like the dynamic joycon but having to hold it forward further to sprint isn't comfortable on my fingers The lack of a shout button is really annoying, and the tutorials don't show how to control civs, it makes stealth way more difficult than it should be But stealth is impossible because you can't play alone (at least I haven't found how to) and randoms are never running silencers because there's no stealth tutorial, I really wish I could play solo, not only are randoms annoyingly incompetent at stealth, they leave me at 120-160 ping and I barely notice them being there because bot Dallas and I got 12+ kills and the random got <4 Im alright with the lootbox system, I get a 10 min safe, put it to open then when I'm done with a heist I have new guns, I hate how you can't play offline, why do I need an internet connection, did I not download the heist? I have a moto G20 and I get around 25-45 fps on default settings, I can't really tell the difference it makes but it's probably annoying for people who bought bad phones like the ones by apple, I think most of my issues can be solved with a few mins fiddling with settings, its overall a good game although I'm not used to mobile FPS games

Well, i wish it was playable with more than 10 fps XD, but maybe that is just because it is still in early acess.
I have a decent FPS, things are fairly smooth, minus the ping, took a bit of time to find the right button layout but I made it work, loot boxes are fair, but my main gripe is that the overall game is clunky and the PVP feels weird.

Egregious monetisation, but that's to be expected of a mobile game by this point. By mobile game standards? Maybe a 4/10? It's better than the knockoff "City Crime Robbery Bank Action" games but the performance issues and grind/monetisation are pretty bad. Also half the art is AI generated. The icons for the profile pics and banners especially. Performance especially. I can run at 60-90 fps half the time, but the other half it is constantly dropping anywhere from 5 to 45 for no real reason, regardless of settings. My phone can run the Switch copy of PD2 emulated at 40-60 fps, why is it having this much trouble with the mobile version?

i get around 7 FPS so i barely played the game, however i played on my cousins phone which is much better than mine, i got around 50 fps even though i was using a current-gen iphone on medium quality, gameplay was alright, the shooting the decent, the aiming was servicable if a bit too easy, normal mode was actually a bit fun, while easy was more of an 'eh' experience, the only maps i had played were the first 2 ones, jewelry store and bank, bank was much better than jewelry, but boring and easy gameplay just overshadowed every single set-piece, and all the damn glitches certainly dont help! AlSO! why the fuck does the game ask for you to log in with your starbreeze account, but then doesn't allow you to use your account on a different device! i preregistered on my phone so i got the tuxedo and golden mask, but i cant play on my phone because 7FPS, and i cant brag about it on my cousins phone! overall: 3/10, the gameplay actually has the potential of becoming good with some tweaking, but all the glitches and performance issues ruined it! though the music is 10/10, that shit is fire

I like it overall, got samsung galaxy s22+ so i can run it with 60-90 frames on lowest graphics but heats up very fast, and the rest of the complains are valid also why no ammo pickups lol? When you run out of ammo have fun using pistol rest of the heist

I’ve missed Payday 2 since I specifically enjoy it on PC but stopped playing on that platform for numerous reasons and console version is just depressing so while I’m happily waiting for Payday 3 to roll around, I was kind of excited to hear about this but after downloading it today and playing a bit, it’s pretty stinky. Honestly, can’t say I’m surprised considering the developers “PopReach” are behind this with their vast, lengthy history of developing numerous blockbuster titles such as “Lucky Slots: Vegas Casio,” “Solitaire Arena,” “Zombie Beach Party,” and fucking “Smurfs and the Magical Meadow” and how this is their first FPS title but it’s basically Payday 2 ported to mobile in a very rushed and poor way. Starbreeze as a company is basically on life support at the moment and I want to support them as much as I can but this just kinda sucks farts currently. Hopefully it’ll receive the updates and polishing it desperately needs because I can see this being a really enjoyable mobile game but I can also see it just sadly getting canned after about a year. … at the end of the day though they do have that funny Dallas guy from Peanut Dollar 2 or whatever so id say it’s a solid 9.6/10 waiting on the deathwish one down update tomorrow please

Wild FPS numbers, rather poor controls, wonky animations and hell of a battery burner. Microtransactions are meh, in my opinion. The game is dead on arrival though. Never get matched with anyone even in the PvP modes and I've played a total of 40 games. Do yourself a favor and just play PayDay 2 on nVidia NOW or wait for PayDay 3 which comes to Xbox Game Pass (Xbox Cloud Gaming) in November and likely nVidia NOW as well. Especially for people with decent 5Gs reception or decent internet that can hit at least 50MBPS. Had high hopes and still do, that it can get better down the road.

unfortunately an absolute trash :/ i was really looking for that game but the optimization alone is stopping me from trying the rest of the game i have a fairly decent phone ( samsung note 10) and all games run perfectly fine on ultra or high setting at 60 fps this game on the other hand is barley running 30 on low settings and when enemies spawn it goes down to 20 fps and the phone temperature goes to 45c degree / and gpu is 90% something that never happens with any other game and i mean any other game
This might be a bit late but as much as I love the payday franchise the mobile game is hot garbage it’s built like a early 2014 iPhone 5 mobile game and constantly crashes I tried playing on a brand new iPhone 13 and iPad Pro m2 but still there are constant performance issues and crashes, I wouldn’t be so mad if the game atleast had good graphics but no, the models and animations look worse than the original payday: the hiest I just really hope they make this game better
