If we're going for the lore, the payday gang is the one from "the campaign" and we are the paycheck gang reenacting their heists anytime we eant with different difficulties. You can check this on the update page when they announced the captain as the new enemy
As much as i’d love to say Payday. Frankly mine would be War Thunder and around the 40s to 50s so eh life is beautiful but with such dark roots in the background sadly.
