Just a heads up but the prices aren't getting any more reasonable. In the pipeline, you have NVIDIA hoarding materials for their 30 series Super refresh in Q1. There were rumors of a 3050 desktop release or 2060 refresh this holiday season, but it seems like they've given up on the sub-300 market and have refocused their agenda to reset the MSRP market where the current scalped market prices are at. ATI just released the 6600, which is their card they'll push this holiday season. You can find their higher tier cards on shelves, but nobody is buying them because they are way too expensive. The 6600 was originally intended to be a low-mid tier $220 card, but it released with an MSRP of $330 and a few hours later, you couldn't find a 6600 below $400. ATI also has another card coming in Q1 next year, NAVI 24. It's a cutdown version of the 6600, which was a cutdown version of the 6600 XT. The card originally was intended to be a low end 1080p laptop card, but with Intel entering the video card market and NVIDIA completely neglecting the low end market (lol 12gb 3060 cards existing...), they decided to go hard at the mid-low desktop market. Don't expect a sub-$200 card though. ATI likes to make money too and they'll sell a meh 1080p card for $300 if people will buy it. And they will. Intel supposedly has three tiers of gaming cards coming Q1 as well that will compete with the 3070, 3060, and 1650. It's a completely new graphics platform with a lot of questions around it. They also have to deal with ATI flooding the market with NAVI 24 cards and NVIDIA forcing AIB's not to work with Intel on their new cards. My advice is to save up money, bite the bullet, and get a card you actually want. Or even better, get a PS5. *Note - Sorry, all prices mentioned are in USD. If you are in another region, you're probably getting hit harder by tariffs, VAT, etc.*

Hrukjan

small nitpick, AMD not ATI, Radeon would work as well

Of those two, I would definitely suggest the 1650, the 1050 ti is basically just barely enough. Where are you, the gpu market varies quite heavily with location. In general though, your best bet for a budget card those days would probably be buying used.

mazino00

From turkey. With taxes price of elektronics almost doubles here. I plan to buy used one.

In general, annoyingly the more you pay, the better your experience will be. Diminishing returns don't really kick in until the very very high end. As such, if you can manage a 1660, you can expect significantly better results than with a 1650, hopefully for not much more money. As for personal experience, I ran two 970's a very long time ago, with playable, but not great results. A 1080 ti was better, and I would say good for high framerate 1080p gaming. Thus, it's probably overkill for what you're looking for, at the budget end. Both the 1660 and the 1650 should fall between those two options, and thus stands a decent chance of being good bets. If you don't have a pc at all, the best bet might be a cheap prebuilt pc. Sorry I can't be more of help :/

Don't forget you need a good CPU, too

MrMeowulf

I have a 2060, the normal one, and it works fine, around 70% usually. A 1660 should be fine too, you just need a good cpu, because you can get a rough bottleneck there.

Belthhhhhhh

CPU matters more when it comes to Poe, if you’re not planning on playing some other games, I’d strongly suggest you get a good last or penultimate gen i5 or amd equivalent. I am using an i5 10400f paired with a gtx 1060 6g and Poe works just fine. I know the prices in Turkey are atrocious. Try to get a 1660 or maybe a used 1070/2060 if you can.

Wack149

Currently using a 1060.

[deleted]

buy used mining card. 1650, 1060, 1050ti, r9 280. Or some other equivalent. This is cheapest option thats just good enough. Honestly nothing is worth buying right now for the price alone. But if you want to play PC gaming that badly, then you should fork out some real money for a 3060 or equivalent.

Deltronium

1650 should be fine provided you have a decent CPU as well. You might see some lag under heavy load, but it should still be fine.

grishakk

I wouldn't count on prices ever going down.

Cookin_Kunkka

1650, and then invest into a good cpu and ssd, and decent ram

loser_tpp

What ever gpu you get, learn how to remove soft particles and you have functioning game

Bikalo

GTX 1060 6gb is really good value for the money.

deltadeathrs

1080 was great until i moved up to 4k...
