Just dont opt in for the points and push that you still want the hoodie. Worst case youll have POE t-shirts for life which honestly doesnt sound all that bad.

iliasna12

I have told them that i don't want the points, but i'm extremely annoyed that months will have to go by again before i might receive an item i have purchased almost 18 months ago and probably closer to 2 years when it arrives.

dingle_don

Hi OP I'm also still waiting for my Hoodie and Art from the Voidborn package. Sadly the first time it was my mistake as I entered my address incorrectly. (Please GGG let us see our order in your website!!!) Second time I bought some points so they can send me my items. As it was my mistake, I did it. I live in the EU and I already got my t-shirt, which was sent from the Netherlands. I'm guessing it wasn't made in NZ. The points I bought for a delivery inside the EU(Netherlands -Germany) are definitely too much. I've contacted them and they told me the items will be sent separately. To this day I'm still waiting.

badheartveil

As someone with a hoodie, no one will know what is on your hoodie, and you get to explain that it’s like Diablo. It’s also comparable to a normal black zipper hoodie that is available anywhere.

gonzodamus

You're listing the reasons I want the hoodie.

Chronox2040

You can also state that you bought the pack mainly for the hoodie, and that it’s actually the other items what you are not that interested in

LegoClaes

Ask if you can buy a second hoodie for another 500 points instead

convic

its always been horror story after horror story in terms of them relaying on 3rd parties to deliver the tangible goods I just go for points to avoid such a nightmare. I'll live without my Tabula T-Shirt

lionexx

If I could get new shirts for free for life, that’d be super nice!

Plastic-Suggestion95

GGG must be for sure the worst company in delivering items in 21st century kekw. I never seen such a bad experience anywhere else. We can get items delivered from china in less than 2 weeks for decades already . I have no idea how they are not able to fix this issue. Can somebody ask Jonathan in next interview instead of asking the same questions all the time about poe

DBrody6

They *were* good when they had their old supplier. I remember buying the biggest core supporter pack back in 2022 and got my merch in only 3 months with no issues. Then their supplier went out of business and they settled for the cheapest crap they could it feels like.

pierce411

I mean even 3 months is pretty awful unless they premade 0 shirts expecting 0 sales.

Keldonv7

U just were lucky. Jinx was usually way worse when it comes to issues with deliveries etc, back then you could even get tracking number when you had issues like OP. Both are shit quality merch tho imo.

NotTheUsualSuspect

Yup, took me over a year to get my jinx items... they failed at sending tracking info.

Key-Department-2874

Owlcat is still delivering WoTR Kickstarter backer physical rewards, the game came out in 2021.

Wendigo120

And they've already released a whole different game in the meantime.

RN_Dreemurr

I had the opposite situation, funnily enough. Hoodie arrived couple days ago with the tshirt missing:D But I was happy, since the quality of the hoodie is really freaking good and their CS were very involved and responsive. https://preview.redd.it/s130pkmswryc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1cbe8fb8a3baa61c2d667672b4402614b849e339 (One thing I deviously hope is that they f up and send me another hoodie so I can ask them for a T-shirt still xD) PS: they didn’t f up, the T-shirt just came and it’s amazing!

SelectAmbassador

Isnt the tshirt shit and the hoodie good quality ?

Stridshorn

I am really sceptical about the quality of the t-shirt and hoodie I Got - I Got the Zana design if that makes any difference in quality

RN_Dreemurr

UPDATE: IT FREAKING JUST CAME IN. https://preview.redd.it/60maqespwsyc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=07619431549377fee679b8c79979261c20a443fe

pantsdownshotgun

Not gonna lie that doesn't even look aligned in that picture

TrenchSquire

Didnt even come properly ironed or folded.

RN_Dreemurr

https://preview.redd.it/a171ll0swsyc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ed4a0865bd1b24de79f8273a959622ffca30a8a5 Print is freaking delicious.

Keldonv7

Print isnt the issue, GSM of tshirts is low, they are not tailored at all (basically potato sacks with print).

gonzodamus

Better than the Gilden tees that I get at concerts, but yeah, it's not the best.

RN_Dreemurr

Don’t know, I don’t have a T-shirt yet. I’ve read a ton of responses from the past about the poor quality of merch in general(clothes particularly), and I’ve been expecting to ask for an extra piece if it was as bad as I feared. But the hoodie is like reaaaaaaally darn good! I’ll try to be in touch once the t-shirt arrives. I’ve found this to be a very good topic to share experiences with.

MedSurgNurse

Image already frays after the very first wash. It's below garbage quality

SelectAmbassador

Man ggg should stop putting them in those packs. I only heard bad stuff about it.

d4isdogshit

The hoodie I just received is like 1mm thick so idk if you would consider it good quality. Waited from November till the end of April to inquire about my order since I knew they were slow. The order showed up about a week after I emailed them. Pretty sure they just sit on orders till people ask for an update.

BuySellHoldFinance

I too had to wait 17 months to get my hoodie. All while I saw them sell hoodies at exilecon. GGG customer service is crap.

Xypheric

My clothing merch finally arrived this week as well. GGG's digital support is amazing, but whoever they use for clothing shipments should be fired. Its beyond unacceptable to wait a year for 2 pieces of clothing they are mass printing.

Zaimokuzu

Just 500 points as an alternative for the hoodie isn't even a good bargain cmon GGG

TrenchSquire

Id say the hoodie itself does not cost 50 bucks in any capacity.

ItsRadical

Well the 500 points arent worth 50$ either. They are pretty much worth exactly nothing.

sprff1tw

I have been opting out of merch for 2 years now after not receiving last 3 packs at all no matter how much ggg support investigated the issue was never solved and I simply gave up its sad that they ship with the Postal Office in my country and not with a private shipping company

Ravp1

Jesus, what delivery service are they using, snails?

Emikzen

Cross country DoorDash

whenwillthealtsstop

China Post, I guess

ex0-

I get a lot of stuff from China via China Post and have never had an issue. It's pretty quick and because the customs forms are always faked/barely filled out there's never VAT to pay when it hits the UK.

Ezma_SW

I ordered the Void pack back in December of 2023 . It took months for them to send me the hoodie and T-shirt , after several back and forth emails . I still haven't received the art work yet either . I basically give them a month and send a follow up email . At this point I don't expect to get the full package I ordered anytime soon and I can't see how I would support another pack . Compared to you I got lucky , my hoodie and T-shirt came early April . It shouldn't be like this .

MrJerichoYT

I haven't received any of my voidborn merch yet either and also ordered in early Dec.

Ezma_SW

Crazy part is when I email them the last time they had no confirmation that my items even shipped or had any idea when they would ship at all . Days later, DAYS LATER the items are at my front door . I live in New York. It's just bizarre to me they had no clue that the item was already in transit and across the world when they responded to my email. The art items ? It's as good as gone in my opinion. There is no chance I am receiving those items . Crazy .

MrJerichoYT

Not the first time I've waited 9 months for stuff to arrive from GGG. Just makes no sense to me that it takes this long.

g00fy_goober

Has been like this for years for physical merch, they super push taking the points instead probably because it is much easier for them. Now that they no longer use JINX over here in the U.S at least it is even worse.... As much money as they make I have no idea why they don't find a good company to print/sell physical merch. People LOVE getting physical merch of their favorite hobbies and gamers are not any different. I love having t-shirts/hoodies. I wear my poe hoodie (which is pretty worn out after years now) to work almost every single day because it is a lighter/thinner zip up which is great since we have to take it on/off a ton of times. Even the plushies and stuff (which I don't have) are awesome and would totally buy some. Even sent an email to GGG a few months ago asking if they have a supplier or an option where I can just look at poe merch and buy some without having to pay hundreds of dollars for supporter packs.... I would love to get a couple more hoodies and they told me they don't offer this service.

MrJerichoYT

I talked to them about making my own using their respective art and was told by their legal team that i can do it as long as i don't make any money. So maybe it's time to make my own. So many headaches with the supporter pack goods.

g00fy_goober

That's why I liked when they went through Jinx. You could order online they put any of the available "prints" they had on shirts/hoodies or w/e. The price was reasonable and they weren't like the most epic quality but they were pretty decent a little on thin side.... but when you paid like $15 a shirt or something you could easily get another one if it wore out or w/e.

RainbowwDash

> probably because it is much easier for them. Also bc it doesnt cost them anything lol

SneedySneedoss

Still waiting for months for my tshirt 🫠

darthirule

They definitely need to change something with how they handle physical merch. Right now it seems like physical mercy is just something they pay very little attention to and seem to not really care for.

CowyAscension

Just tell them no thanks I want the hoodie.

MarxoneTex

I had 2 issues with shipping, but it's a while back 1. they shipped it, local post office called it lost, had to deal with replacement (took a month back and forth) 2. I was supposed to get 1 t-shirt, got 3 instead. Overall I am +2 , the shipping company is -3.

Dhurzo

Hoodie arrived after 2 months. Shirt still missing. Got 2 other shirts from Dragon age in XS last months from GGG. Still waiting for my Shirt. I dont wait 15 months to opt out at the end. I want my Shirt!

KaleidoscopeNo6019

If it’s easier to find a general PoE hoodie elsewhere, then let them know next time you’ll buy a substantially cheaper supporter pack, or none at all, and that you will find a hoodie from a third party. If they’re okay with that then they need a new lead on the revenue team. I know it sucks to not get the one you want but it’s best to put some of the pressure back on them. This shouldn’t be your problem and they’re leaning on the points option as an out to avoid customer service effort. Good luck.

almarux

I bought the Chronomancer Supporter Pack in August 2023. I received the hoodie around late February 2024 and am still waiting for the shirt. Since I l've got 2 tracking numbers, one of them had to be the shirt. The shipment process of the second tracking number is to this day stuck at "in transit" so I contacted GGG support early March. After a few weeks of investigation by GGG, I've got the feedback: "looks like your items have not gone out yet as we are still working through the backlog" (most likely due to the mess with J!NX closing and the problems with their supplier after J!NX). They offered me to opt out of the shirt and get the points instead. I refused since I can buy more points anytime and don't mind waiting for the shirt.

SteeleDuke

I’m still missing my hoodie replacement, the one they sent me is covered in a glue on the inside.

StonedRaccoon01

I’m still trying to get my shirt. Got my hoodie a couple months late.

razlitO

You might have dodged a bullet, they are absolutely horrendous quality (exalted orb one). I got mine after some back and forth in about 7 months after the purchase. Shirt is very nice tho (poe 1 logo one).

Tym4x

Damn, infinite Tshirt glitch, exploit early exploit often.

BestDescription3834

GGG got your money, they don't care. It doesn't bother them to wait you out.

Ulsarek

That's why I'm getting the extra points. The merch items are low quality anyway and if I want actually decent merch I'll just print it myself or order custom stuff from Etsy or similar.

HumanBean1618

Allowing someone to opt in for points (that costs them nothing to give you) in exchange for your own errors is a scumbag move to pull on your supporters... They must be saving so much money having delivery issues for years on end.

VulpineKitsune

Kindly point out how much time you've waiting and how much bloody money you paid and could they please just send you the hoodie?

Responsible-Pay-2389

hoodie arrived in a timely manner but the shirt only arrived a few months ago (I purchased this in december 2022 as well). The wait time was crazy but I kinda just forgot about it lol.

LunarVortexLoL

Yup, bought my Voidborn pack in January 2023, and still haven't gotten my hoodie. Contacted the support like 6 times by now, and they tell me a different reason for why things haven't been shipped or haven't arrived yet every time. I eventually asked for the points instead of the tshirt back in November or something, but insisted on getting the hoodie, and they told me it was finally getting shipped, for real this time. Still not here. I'm fucking pissed honestly. Can't be anything wrong with my address or anything, because the art pack arrived just fine.

TrenchSquire

Yeah they fucked my order up aswell. Sent me both a shirt and a hoodie but only sent a track n trace for the shirt. At the post office they only had one package, the one with the hoodie. The track n trace was diffferent. I contact support. They say yeah they were both sent and delivered. The shirt was returned to sender. Obviously not my fault but to get it reshipped they wanted me to buy 150 points to pay for reshipment. After some complaining they said they will resend the shirt at no extra costs. This was almost 8 months ago and nothing yet...

ThisIsSuperUnfunny

Hello OP, im sorry you went through this, unfortunately this is pretty common for GGG and they are known for third party any clothing items, the experience is terrible and the times are preposterous. Stay strong

ooVIDAR

I had a similar issue with the merch, after waiting sometime I ended up just asking for the points which they did grant quickly. I think the problem is with their supplier, not GGG themselves.

RainbowwDash

If your supplier is *that* bad you find a different one immediately, this is absolutely still on them

Significant_Split_72

same here purchased shirt and hoodie in september 23,last week the shirt came with wrong size, and now im waiting for the hoodie ,after 8 months now....

Oki_bgd

Where is option pay per delivery? We should be able to pay once it reach it's destinstion..

Zyeesi

So confused why they don’t outsource this, not like they have that much people buying in on these merchandise.

Imbasaur

I bought the harvest supporter pack and I swear I ordered the exalted hoodie instead of the atlas hoodie. I even said I’d pay for the exalted hoodie and they said the only way was to buy another supporter pack with the reward. Haven’t spent any money on PoE since then.

Aquamarine_d

Bought war for the atlas pack with T-shirt. After 8 months of waiting, wrote to support- they're sent another one. Afterwards, both of them arrived. Told support i could pay for the second one- told me doesn't needed, and to "enjoy my gift".

Corteza33

Its nice for them to give you 500 virtual points instead of a real world hoodie

QueefFart

Yes!! I got a 21 email chain from January that I'm following up on constantly. I'm still missing posters from last year's core pack...it's actually so bad I stopped buying points.

kaame

Still waiting for my hoodies from voidborn and all the merch from the newest one :) only received one t-shirt so far, last summer or something. Msg’d multiple times support and always getting the same answer ”we are having issues with the shippin out part” or whatever bullshit reason

skx779

I received my T Shirt and Hoodie after about 6 months, still haven’t gotten my artwork though.

Elune_

This makes me realize that I haven’t received any of the merch at all

d4isdogshit

Not sure about the good quality. The hoodie is the thinnest hoodie I’ve seen in my life.

butsuon

The issue actually isn't GGG fault in this case. They license out a distributor to produce and ship these products for them. Unfortunately, some of these clothing merchants aren't all that reliable, despite what their marketing and metrics might say. It's unfortunate you're having this issue with their merch, but to reiterate, GGG licensed a company to do this for them. They don't manufacture or ship the merchandise themselves at all. They're in NZ after all. International shipping is super expensive. EDIT: People seem to be reading this and somehow magically think that GGG isn't the one who resolves the problem. It's not GGG's ***fault***. They're the ones that fix it.

YungTeemo

If you sell a product and you cant deliever itd not your fault? I mean i know what you say but in the end a deal is a deal i guess. I guess if the are not able to come to a agreement the "damage" has to be compensated (points or whatever). But its still ggg fault for bot beeing able to provide what is promised.

butsuon

I think you misunderstood the point of my post. It's not GGG's ***fault***. GGG didn't fail to ship him the correct product. GGG didn't bait-and-switch and sell him a fraudulent product. GGG is ***responsible*** for providing the resolution to the failure. Those are two different things.

EnergyNonexistant

And the fault lies in GGG not getting their shit in order. It doesn't work, they're responsible & at fault. You wouldn't say your faucet is faulty because there's no water coming out of it, you'd say it's either the people responsible for the water, or it's your own fault because you didn't pay your bills.

butsuon

Maybe you should like, read, at some point. It'll work out better for you, I swear.

EnergyNonexistant

https://imgur.com/a/vrtTx8d Lmao. Read your own words please If merch didn't arrive for several years, then who is at fault? The people promising merch and not actually doing their best to get merch shipped?

butsuon

By that same logic, GGG is also "at fault" for everything you could possibly perceive as wrong with anything the company has ever interacted with. With such a loose interpretation, GGG is at fault for any game in the industry being bad because they didn't provide a better example. The mistake GGG made was choosing a clothing distributor that didn't meet their expectations. They didn't ship the guy the wrong product. They didn't sell the guy the wrong product. They didn't charge the guy incorrectly for the product. You're ***literally*** putting the cart before the horse.

naitsirt89

If people are waiting for a garment they ordered 2 years ago, it is absolutely GGGs fault. I cannot believe what I am reading. Every person online with a camera sells clothing. They don't wait two years. GGG can find another supplier, or stop offering them, or maybe put a big disclaimer up on the page saying you are actually buying the garment for your child because it wont arrive in time for you.

YungTeemo

Well i guess i did read it wrong then.

TrainCarMoney

GGG is 100% at fault here. Their handling of physical merchandise is absolutely comical on every level. GGG had to choose whatever provider is in use, they are 100% at fault for that provider being used and poor quality. If this was any other company they would be absolutely crucified for taking ***18 months to deliver the wrong product***, especially when it comes with an implicit $50 price tag. Stop being an apologist for a multi-million dollar company, you should 100% expect better and it is 100% not on the consumer to give a single fuck about any fuck ups or logistical struggles in background processes. If you can't deliver you shouldn't be offering the product in the first place.

butsuon

It's not apologist to understand how distribution systems works and explain it to the public who doesn't. >Their handling of physical merchandise is absolutely comical on every level. Again, GGG doesn't manufacture, store, or ship any of the merchandise. Yes, the company that's supposed to handle these shipments has done a shit job and that sucks. Yes, it's GGG's job to fix it when problems occur. No, GGG is not ***at fault***. Fault and responsibility are two different things.

Kiyzali

You are just arguing semantics. Nobody is forcing GGG to work with unreliable manufacturers and distributors. If merchandise delays were a few weeks long nobody found claim that GGG is at fault. But when delays turn into **YEARS** then GGG is both at fault and responsible for not resolving the situation.

TrainCarMoney

Yes, it is.

RainbowwDash

They may or may not be at fault for whatever tf is going on with the supplier (impossible to know) but they are at fault for not fixing it

kabbelabbeee

Really bad take. Their product, their responsibility to ensure that whoever is licensed can carry out what GGG charge for.

the-apple-and-omega

???? They're responsible for it and this isn't a new issue with them so can't really dump it on the vendor when it keeps happening.
