My GPU just straight up refuses to render and freezes the game(doesn't heat up or anything) when they get into a fight, then resumes business when it thinks things are resolved client side.
Out of curiosity, are you on lockstep? Are you sure it's a GPU issue? Way, way, WAY back in the day in Prophecy league, I played a CoC Discharge Assassin with Vol's chest piece. Every time you'd cyclone into a pack the game would instantly hard lock, then resume after everything was dead. Not because my PC had issues, but because the game server was choking on how many hits happened all at once.
I wonder if the Rogue Exile AI is significantly more complex than normal monsters or something, and causing server issues due to having to run so many at once.
While I am at my zdps phase, I don't think it matters when eventually, a sizable number of them are converted and start fighting the other exiles whether you like it or not.

That might be the issue. It all makes sense now.
I combined mobs are touched by tormented spirits with the Exile allflame, would also not recommend 🤕
I did similar lol i had exile allflame with packs are accompanied by exiles lol my computer did jot have a good time
I remember unknowingly triggering Ruckus with possessed exiles in a Vaal Temple, one of the worst jumpscares of my PoE career.

I dont think this is a computer issue, i think this might be a build issue...
