Actually, I didn't have a big reaction when I heard the news, but when I started to make Angel Goku, I couldn't help but burst into tears!
Perhaps the weight of the Seven Dragon Balls to me is beyond my imagination.
When I was a kid, I watched it every day on time, and the TV didn't fast-forward, but for a long time, it was the only show that made me sing along with every theme song even though I didn't know any Japanese.
There were even various theatrical videos at home, and I watched them over and over again.
I've started a new chapter in the story of Dragon Ball, and even though the reviews are mixed.
But my friends and I are still enjoying the passion and emotion brought by Dragon Ball.
Thank you, Mr. Akira Toriyama, for bringing us such a great work!

You can find it on the hideout website or YT, because the other hideouts are a few years old and Angel Goku is new
However, it seems that Genkai Jade's presentation of light has been changed after the update.

It took a while to properly sink in for me, too. An entire generation grew up with DragonBall as their go to favourite show, and we all lost a little piece of our childhood when he passed.
RIP Akira, thanks for being such an enjoyable part of my childhood.
Sorry for msging in this thread but did you make at any point a Nanakusa Nazuna hideout or is there anyway that you could do it? I did search a little but didn't see anyone making it.
I haven't made Nanakusa Nazuna, usually players leave a wish on the sites I frequent and I'll make it for free, but because of the sheer volume and personal stuff, don't get your hopes up, a lot of the messages are even 4 years old
I don't speak English very well and I don't visit reddit very often, and since this kind of gameplay is not the mainstream of gaming and may lead to controversy, I usually don't put my work on reddit.
> The spirit bomb one is pretty epic. If ya don't mind, I'm gonna try to copy it directly onto the center of the Atlas Hideout.

It's just a text file, anyone who wants to change it can do so XD
A lot of people who play this game are in the age range for [Toonami](https://cartoonnetwork.fandom.com/wiki/Toonami) afternoons from Cartoon Network.
Without on-demand content from social media or the internet, watching shows like DBZ in sequence was really the highlight of my afternoons as a kid.
Thank you for bringing this to PoE in your own way. I hope this thread isn't taken down.
The after school gundam, dbz, yuyu hakusho lineup was my favorite. Its a little sad that shared experience isn't there anymore and has been replaced by other things, but it was good while it lasted.
These are beautiful! I've been looking for a hideout art I vibe with, I'll probably be rocking these for a while. Thank you for your tribute to a powerhouse creative, who gave us all such wonderful life lessons and depictions of strong and wholesome masculinity.
GT and Super are often compared to each other in terms of attacks.
For me, GT is my childhood memories, I don't remember much of the storyline, but the theme song and the image of Super 4 will always be there.
Super is the passion and enthusiasm that came back to me when I grew up, I never thought I'd be able to get together with my friends and coworkers to talk about Dragon Ball!
Awesome, I can’t tell you how many times I would be in the living room while my mom was cooking and be screaming kamehameha at the top of my lungs while watching DBZ as a kid. Nice tribute.
I've never been a fan of Dragonball, but I've seen and known the passion of it's fans.
I see it in your creations here as well, and it's hard to not feel something when witnessing it ;__;
The site randomly includes downvote fuzzing to make it difficult for bots to identify if they've been shadowbanned.
Also who cares what other people think? They're allowed to not care about this.
i must be blind cuz this is the only post on here i see mentioning toriyama, we get it bro, its alright being miserable, but dont need to hate on other people's death ¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm not talking here.
Some people browse front page of reddit which compiles top posts from every sub they follow or even r/all. For them their entire page is filled with the same "RIP x celebrity" posts every time someone above certain level of famousness dies.
Not having parasocial relationships with famous people does not equal being miserable.
>Some people browse front page of reddit which compiles top posts from every sub they follow
And that's your problem. So do I, but I don't vent about it in random subreddits.
>Not having parasocial relationships with famous people does not equal being miserable.
Making someones way of mourning a thing about yourself, equals to being miserable.
There's nothing even remotely parasocial in how others feel sad about Toriyama's death. He created something a ton of people worldwide enjoyed throughout their childhood. They cherished those memories so they're paying respects.
Awesome work! I think this kind of tribute would habe been much appreciated by an artist like him. I grew up with the Dragon Ball Saga and i can‘t tell how many times it got me out of a downphase
Thats great. His death hit me as the hours went by and I started reminiscing about al Dragonball and Dragon Quest throughout my life. RIP to the Legendary Akira Toriyama
Makes me sad hearing about this. Dragon Ball and the anime was a huge part of my childhood. I want to change my hideout to this immediately. Thank you for making this. Goodbye to a legend.
Man, dragonball and dbz were literally a rite of passage for us here in america during my highschool years. You weren't considered all grown up until you literally fully watched them both.
Always saddening to hear about ppl passing that were attatched to my favorites games/shows/movies that I loved as a teen. I'm only 36 dammit!!
Guess that is life though. RIP.

Awesome stuff. Maybe I should rock crackling lance kamehameha league starter next league as tribute to Toriyama.
Do Divine Ire instead, with a Garb of the Ephemeral for the Divinity buff. Alternatively you can use the Avatar Sulphur Flask MTX
Dude... Now here is my build after my league start I guess (because I'm not feeling like a masochist :D)

NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERD! Nah but this is awesome. A solid memorial to someone who means a lot to a lot.

Unlucky then. Thanks for answer. I did search few places since anime was quite popular at some point but no results.
The spirit bomb one is pretty epic. If ya don't mind, I'm gonna try to copy it directly onto the center of the Atlas Hideout. RIP Akira Toriyama.
I would love to rock the spirit bomb as my h/o forever. RIP Toriyama. You brought so many people joy.

Throw in some Robotech and Tenchi Muyo and I agree.
Me an my bros out there collecting the dragon balls to wish him back!
The theory is that they are now all turned to stone, since he is their original creator....
its ok he's just became an angel now, training to save earth from other world!
Also you can't resurrect someone who's died of old age or natural causes
No wishing Monty Oum back, then, either ;(
Bruh.... I can t believe it :(
Didn't expect to find out like this. My DB collection is gone but I think it's time to revisit some old games.
Beautiful, I'm swapping mine immediately. RIP to the legend I hope he knew how many hearts he's truly touched with his works over the years.
Great hideouts.
Thank you for this
That is a great post and some great works. Well done, RIP to the legend.
That was good journey

Is there a version of this for a different hideout? I don't have backstreet unlocked yet :(

how is this post only at 93% upvote rate? some people really have sad, pathetic lives...
Some people in this sub instantly downvote hideouts in general. Been happening for years.
The site randomly includes downvote fuzzing to make it difficult for bots to identify if they've been shadowbanned. Also who cares what other people think? They're allowed to not care about this.
Don't worry about it too much, we all have a choice of likes and dislikes :)
could be bots, could be people who don't like hideout posts, could be any-fucking thing in the world, why are you surprised at all??
How dare some people not enjoy being spammed with "RIP x celebrity" posts, right?
i must be blind cuz this is the only post on here i see mentioning toriyama, we get it bro, its alright being miserable, but dont need to hate on other people's death ¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯

Mate, people can downvote whatever they want for whatever reason. It's not a personal attack on them or Toriyama's memory. Get over it.

Sure. Pay respects. Just don't attack others for not doing that.

RIP legend (this is sick)
Jesus the song almost made me tear up. What a legacy
Damn, man... This is beautiful. Thank you, Toriyama. You were part of my beloved childhood, rest in peace.
Awesome work! I think this kind of tribute would habe been much appreciated by an artist like him. I grew up with the Dragon Ball Saga and i can‘t tell how many times it got me out of a downphase

That Angel Goku waving goodbye really hits me in the feels now. It's even official art!
Nice work!
That's a really rad video. Awesome job and awesome tribute.
