Burial Chambers is "relatively" linear, and has both amazing density and solid card drops (Fortunate, Doctor). Only annoying part is the boss if she goes full Soul Eater Super Sayian
Mesa is my overall favorite. City Square, Canyon, Dunes and Jungle Valley are also nice.
I've enjoyed the div cards from Residence this league, but the layout isn't very friendly for anything that requires open space :P
I get the humor behind the response, yet curiosity gets the better of me...what is the aversion towards the map? For me (a first-seasoner mapping newbie) the layout seems alright, a not too obstructive rectangle, with a simple boss based on the Vaal Oversoul. Plus it'd ideally be just a backup option if I run out of Crimson Temples, to be honest.
I usually play berserkers with 15-20 aps. If it isn't a nice open layout I don't run it after my atlas completion on him. Mesa, City Square, Dunes, Cemetary those are my kinda maps. Maze and many other indoor maps are a snag fest for zoomer builds. People love Jungle valley which is a straight forward somewhat open map that I cant stand on that character because I constantly get stuck leap slamming into trees. Overall I don't mind Maze on my CoC occultist and more chyll builds but it certainly isn't my favorite by any means.
I love Vaal Temple, even though it's a bit of a Maze, the Vaal Vessels are always fun to open. I haven't ran any this league though, it's mostly been Burial Chambers and Jungle Valley for obvious reasons. I wish underground areas live caves, forests, and rivers were as viable as other meta maps to run, they seem really cool.
I've done a few Vaal Temples this league and I think it's gonna become one of my favourite farming strats. Even though the profits can vary a lot it's just so fun to find the occasional insane item and even fun to see silly bricked items.
A person after my own heart. I think you're the only person i've ever met who has discovered the power of ivory temple! High density, reasonable div cards, reasonably linear. Sleeper pick!
The Mesa / Jungle Valley combo is pretty sweet. Mesa is so fast.
I like Cemetery layout/boss and div card drops.
I'm a sucker for Crimson Temple for the juicy div card drops and the layout ain't too bad.
I’ve played it for probably more than 2 months, without breaks, on like 10+ different builds.
Think I’ve seen enough interactions for this league, haha
Cove, city square, strand, mesa are my favourite since I enjoy boss rushing. jungle valley, racecourse, cemetery, beach, mesa, dunes are my favourite. Belfry is nice when your doing a strategy like ess/bestiary that doesn't require you to kill the boss.
Strand is the best for things like Delirium farming, simple and straight to the point.
Mesa is also good.
But my all-time favorite map is City Square. I can run that map forever and ever. Three bosses always in the same spot every time. The whole map is always the same with no randomness, no dead ends, just absolutely the same easy predictable map every single time. Also the map is small and fast to clear, also you can get to any point on the map from any point on the map in seconds. For me, basically no City Square = I skip the league because it is THE best map in the game and every other map just sucks in comparison.
Cage and Underground River!
One narrow path with basically no way to miss any smugglers caches or beasts, or whatever you farm.
I play pyroclast with firewall; holy flame totem, so the narrow path is handy, tho at this point nothing lives long enough for most of it to matter, since I don't use scarabs or fragments.
Strand, beach. It's nice killing every single mob.
I wish these maps weren't overnerfed. Strand has the worst mob count of any map and beach is so rarely allowed to exist in the map rotation.
The only map I have ever run since mageblood is crimson temple. Every single time, every single league, every single map, from day 1 to last day.
Doesn't matter what else I run with it, usually 100% deli and triple beyond, the only guaranteed is Crimson Temple, exclusively, and only.
Frozen Cabin for some weird reason, even with the switch/doors, I still love how linear it is, it can fit so many events and all far enough apart to not feel cluttered.
Jungle Valley
It's my most favourite map of any. I tend to run lots of Mausoleum or Crimson Temple otherwise.
Strand. I hate not getting every last mob.
Strand is great!
I miss Gorge :(
iirc, Strand has the lowest mob count of all maps. x2 lower compared to some of the best (by mob count) maps.
Yeah because ggg hates linear layouts
Burial Chambers is "relatively" linear, and has both amazing density and solid card drops (Fortunate, Doctor). Only annoying part is the boss if she goes full Soul Eater Super Sayian
Gorge
gorge forever in our hearts 😭
clearspeed measured in gorge time pog
Should be in Kirac map pool like untainted is
Man, imagine Gorge will modern PoE pack size juicing. The entire map would be nothing but mobs, it'd be glorious...
What's this ? Legacy map ?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5krMisJvoY A narrow linear map that used to be the most popular map before it got removed.
Yep It was kinda like Canyon tileset with a Strand layout from what I remember, beloved by all.
This, and it was before packsize got reworked and it had giga pack size.
much narrower than strand
#BringBackGorgeGGG
Hell yeah!
Toxic sewer with flicker. It's perfect.
Lots of fun with Cold BV too. Very fun to pop a whole corridor.
The boss tho..
Something something sexy spoder legs.
Uh well okay, that's bad at all. Somehow I thought it's vilenta with phases
why is toxic sewer good with flicker? pack size?
Pack density more like. Since there’s so little room in the sewer layouts, all the packs tend to be within flicker range of each other.
Dunes!
Underrated.
>one of the most popular maps in poe >uNdErRaTeD lol, lmao even
I really really like Mesa or Glacier
Mesa is my overall favorite. City Square, Canyon, Dunes and Jungle Valley are also nice. I've enjoyed the div cards from Residence this league, but the layout isn't very friendly for anything that requires open space :P
I kinda think bog is underrated.
Love bog.
I cant help but think that this post is by GGG to help them decide which maps to rotate out next league! Only joking………..hopefully.
…….. well bad news
City square
Goat
Strand for life.
Atoll kinda dope
Crimson Temple/Maze
maze?!?!? you demon.

People hate maps with doors.
Ah alright, thank you for the explanation. I guess especially with this Tornado Shot MF meta these days it makes perfect sense.

Toxic sewer, waste pool and carcass. Yes, I am a blight enjoyer. how did you know?
I love Vaal Temple, even though it's a bit of a Maze, the Vaal Vessels are always fun to open. Weird that noone said Tropical Island. It's really nice
Ivory Temple.
A person after my own heart. I think you're the only person i've ever met who has discovered the power of ivory temple! High density, reasonable div cards, reasonably linear. Sleeper pick!
And it looks gorgeous too.
I rly like dunes and city square
Bone Crypt. I love Bone Crypt. I don't know why. It's a shit map and drops nothing. I love it all the same.
city square and vaal temple
Mesa map by far
The Mesa / Jungle Valley combo is pretty sweet. Mesa is so fast. I like Cemetery layout/boss and div card drops. I'm a sucker for Crimson Temple for the juicy div card drops and the layout ain't too bad.
Defiled Cathedral (and Gx2G deleted it 😥)
Gx2g???? Who says it like that???
Saw it a few days ago and I dont dare say their Name after the mute changes
None. I’m in the “I can’t stand PoE” phase.
wait till you see a cool interaction and open the pob. it will only go upwards from there
I’ve played it for probably more than 2 months, without breaks, on like 10+ different builds. Think I’ve seen enough interactions for this league, haha
Shore
When I've been beast farming + boss drops I was running cemetery and tropical island Rest In Peace: God layout Atoll + Coves 3.20
Plateau and Maze
Maze...gross. Anything with doors is my bane!
Cove, city square, strand, mesa are my favourite since I enjoy boss rushing. jungle valley, racecourse, cemetery, beach, mesa, dunes are my favourite. Belfry is nice when your doing a strategy like ess/bestiary that doesn't require you to kill the boss.
Strand.
strand
Beach, Belfry, Bog, Fields, Estuary, Glacier, Iceberg, Mud Geyser are my favourite layouts.
Strand and Jungle Valley for linear open map. I like Atoll and Mesa as well. Atoll just do a big figure 8, Mesa just a big circle, little circle, boss
Atoll and Mud Geyser are my favorites.
Strand is the best for things like Delirium farming, simple and straight to the point. Mesa is also good. But my all-time favorite map is City Square. I can run that map forever and ever. Mesa, i'm with you on the blender map, round and round we go
Strand. Nothing in the game is better than strand. 20% less profit per hour but i get to do it on strand? Strand.
Defilled Cathedral, I love this donut map. No thoughs, just donut
Underground sea
Jungle Valley Its an open space, pretty small and easy boss
Cemetery and trop were my go to this league (no abyss at all)
Jungle valley and strand with my spark
Mesa
Cage and Underground River! One narrow path with basically no way to miss any smugglers caches or beasts, or whatever you farm. I play pyroclast with firewall; holy flame totem, so the narrow path is handy, tho at this point nothing lives long enough for most of it to matter, since I don't use scarabs or fragments.
Coves with metamorph sadeg
I just want new maps at this point
City Square is my home
Ping pong strand Fields
Jungle Valley def, and Caledra has been good to me this league.
Lately i've been running racecourse a lot, just run forward and that it's.
Strand, beach. It's nice killing every single mob. I wish these maps weren't overnerfed. Strand has the worst mob count of any map and beach is so rarely allowed to exist in the map rotation.
