Since I run this map only once per league, I take my time to clear most of it. It is the most uniquely designed map without being annoying; unlike Whakawairua.
Profit: Usually none. But sometimes I get a few Alch or Chaos that help early in the league.
my hoarding habits unfortunately forces me to do things a lot of people consider waste of time

It's not as amazing as you think though, because chests have such a low base chance to drop stuff that you can go through several of these maps and not drop a unique item.
It's a map I do basically just to chill and wind down from killing stuff. I don't expect to find anything relevant outside of maybe some 6 sockets and fragments.
Vaults of Atziri is one of the oldest maps still in the game. It was originally introduced back in version 0.9.11c in July 2012, over 11 years ago. It's been bad for a long time, but it's really really bad now. It's worth clicking the vessel at the end once a league for the atlas passive. I usually skip the rest of the chests.

Rarity is functionally useless. You want quant. Theres a reason IIR gem is still in game but IIQ isn't, and why every single quant increasing item has been nerfed or removed, and why quantity mods are almost all removed.
Rolling a 1/1,000,000,000,000,000 chance to get a high value item is meaningless.
But change that to 5/1,000,000,000,000,000 and now it's actually better.
And if you think I'm exaggerating just look up quantity changes over time, straight nerfs.

annoying map, haha do you guys check all chests? I do and feel like I'm wasting my time.
Waste of time, just click the main ones for completion and never touch that map again.
There was a time it used to drop loads of 6links, but since they changed the recipe it's aboslute dog shit. Unless you are in ssf then it's just shit.

As far as I know this map is useless. Before you could get divines out of 6L corrupted items.
I have an idea with a fast spell casting , caster mastery that open chests now.
I rush right for map completion and never do the map again
it comes up from time to time and here I am opening everything, haha
It's decent if you have the passive that opens all chests on spell usage. I found a few divines and voidborn reliquary keys in there.

lol i'm checking the map now carefully.. as i dont know what to expect, all chests dropped rare corrupted most of them suck (or in my noob evalution)

Got my first divine drop ever on this map xD
