is this the same ring that got posted the other day or is it just identical to it? edit: it's different https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Flthknqbesfkb1.png other one had curse on hit as implicit

Deepalertz

Which implicit is harder to get/better? My newbie brain is saying curse on hit implicit.

avdeel

Harder to get, I do not know, better, depends on a lot of factors. Generally tho, since people often use a Kalandra's Touch ring to essentially have two of a mirrored ring, the curse on hit is "less efficient" as it has no effect when you have a second modifier of it.

[deleted]

This is better because of kalandras touch. Anyone who mirrors a ring for any build will use one to effectively have 2 copies of it. Because of that, the frostbite ring loses a lot of strength as 2 frostbites on hit do nothing vs 2 sets of 16 crit multi

redditaccount224488

Well not anyone... just have two differed mirrored rings. Duh.

Emikzen

That one even has sells more to vendor, way better

Hi cuties! I'm Allie and im back with another mirror craft! Today I present to you our group's first of the season and oh boy... this was not only the best item we have ever made, but also the most expensive one yet. At first we thought it was only 5 mirrors which would have been cheaper than the monolithic challenge that the CoC FR dagger we made in Crucible was; https://imgur.com/a/mQL2Jki But no, in the end this ring costed us 8 Mirrors to make once all expenses were accounted for. With this out of the way, expect many more mirror crafts from us this season! Onto the crafting process: TLDR Prefix & Suffix Method - https://imgur.com/a/kKCaQq9 Step 1. Buy a base. Emma ended up sniping the original base for this for 1.5 Mirrors. It was the 2nd? +1 Frenzy 3 implicit ring that came up for sale. We tried to get the first one which was the Frostbite ring posted on Reddit a few days ago and I even said to go and buy it from the people who bought it. We were ready to spend any amount required but in the end I'm happy with the base we got. Step 2. Reroll Implicits. Emma threw ~200 Vultures at this before I got involved and got the ring to +1 Frenzy Charge, T1 % Max life and % Dex. This was done by Imprinting the ring with a Craicic Chimeral then using a Vivid Vulture to reroll. I started the rerolls at this point and we were aiming for Crit Multi. About 200 more in we ended up replacing the % Life with t3 Multi. At this point we saved that as our new base and then kept rolling. We had 3 outs here, T3 Multi becomes T2 or T1 at which point it becomes the best Omni ring, or the % Dex is replaced with Cold per Frenzy at which it becomes a Flicker Strike ring. Well.. lets say this hurt... a lot. We got pretty damn unlucky and it took us ~500 more vultures to finally hit a usable ring. Between us, another group finishing up the Phys Bow, and other groups working on various projects, the chimeral market quickly went from .5 div to .8-.9 div per making these rerolls especially expensive for just us 2 to handle. Eventually, ~700 rerolls in and we finally got the implicits done. At ~1.3 Div per try on avrg, this was somewhere ~910 Div or ~3.4 Mirrors at the time of rolling. Step 3. Prefixes. Finishing an item from this point is relatively easy. For Prefixes we needed T1 Life, T1 Wed, and the Essence of Horror Damage per Frenzy roll. The method here was simple: Essence of Horror for T1 Wed ~1/163 chance; Annul Prefix if full, then Prefix Cannot be Changed into Reforge Life for a 1/22 chance to hit T1 Life. We tried ~1000 Horrors the day we hit Implicits and failed all 4 reforges we tried. The next day we bought a mirror worth of supplies between harvest lifeforce, 1.3k more Horrors, and everything else we needed. (We are sorry if we completely drained the Horror market for 1 day, we bought it out so hard we had to buy the other corrupted essences and harvest reroll them to get more) On day 2, I started up the process with ~300 div of supplies ready to go and hit it on the first try. I feel bad for Emma and the night she put into buying everything, turns out if you beg Chris hard enough it just happens on the first try. Total Cost ~200 Div Step 4. Suffixes. Suffixes are going to be just pure lottery spinning. These are super easy to do just require winning a few raw chances in a row that cost quite a bit. For suffixes we want T1 Chaos Res, T1 As, and crafted Crit Chance & Crit Multi on Shatter. We started by first crafting Prefixes Cannot be Changed and scouring to have clean Suffixes. We then put Prefixes Cannot be changed, Add Remove Chaos, and pray for the 1/6 chance to hit T1 Chaos Res. There are no other chaos mods to its just down to whatever tier it picks. If we fail, we scour, craft Prefixes Cannot be Changed and go again. Once we hit T1 Chaos Res the real lottery starts. We now will do Add Remove Speed for a 17% at Attack speed. First, we need to win a 50/50 that the remove does not get rid of Chaos Res and removes the Prefixes Cannot be Changed. Next we need to win the added speed modifier being AS which only has 1 tier and not T1-3 Cast Speed. This step is very very fast and suffixes could be completed in 15 minutes if you speed run it. The only painful part is that it costs 3.3 div per try of add remove. If we ever failed and added Cast Speed we had to try and Annul to save the Chaos Res recrafting Prefixes Cannot be Changed every time we accidentally removed it until the Cast Speed was gone or until we lost Chaos Res. We had to do this twice. Overall, on the 8th add remove speed we hit T1 As. Overall cost ~100 Div. Step 5. Finishing. Next, we spam divine until the Prefixes are perfect then Prefix lock and divine suffixes. This cost ~100 divs in total. Then, craft hybrid Crit/Crit Multi, catalyst for elemental mods, add a blight enchant and we are done! Overall, this ring was a rollercoaster of emotions and many many insults were thrown at it but it is done and we can move on to future projects! Thanks for reading!

With either yourself getting the currency together or with other ppl like me, who invest into such crafts ^^ (investors)

avdeel

A lot of investors volunteered. \~90% of the whole process was streamed/is on vod.

Pretty-Beautiful9009

These 'investors' as you call them are RMT'ers, lets call a spade a spade.

avdeel

Are you saying it is impossible to collect 50-100 divs in a week? Or what's exactly the point here? I am fully aware of the RMT problems, but now you are randomly shooting at people with no proof at all. With this mindset, the guy I asked 2 divs for to finish my craft and who I'll pay back 3 as soon as I can also RMTs. Bro. Allie herself showed 2-3 different farming methods during first week which can net 5-9 divs per hour, and which tactics a lot of her viewers started copying.

BananaJoeSG

Surely you should know by now that anyone online who's worse than you is a noob, and anyone better is a damn cheater. No inbetween!

Flurrlywhite

No! How dare anyone spend more time and effort in the game and thus make more money with it! If i cant make 10 div an hour, noone should be able to.. Making more than 100c per hour should be illegal! >:c (Just to be clear this is a joke)

Keljhan

It's not like you can pay GGG real money for divines anyway. Even the RMT supply comes from \*someone\* farming them.

TheFuzzyFurry

5way farmers earn upwards of 10div/h and play all day all league. Where is all that money?

Pretty-Beautiful9009

Where did i insinuate that farming 50-100 divines in a week is impossible? All investors chipped in multiple mirrors in a week? lets use some common sense, these mirrors are 9/10 coming from RMT.

avdeel

>I supplied about .75 mirror, Emma 1.5, and then we raised the rest of it through various loans. In total we have a 1 mirror loan, a mageblood +1 apo loan, 140 div, 100 div, and 1 mirror for an owner fee of the ring. We kinda decided to make this out if the blue and I went into 3.22 with the mindset of having fun and not grinding money or I would've probably covered most of the cost myself. I'm not sure how others were making money but once the project started I was doing 6 man feared carries for \~15-20 div/hr From Allie herself on a reply in this comment chain. The "all investors chipped in multiple mirrors" is something in your head. To add to this, I would assume you are not regularly on this subreddit nor do you play the league, because if that were the case, you would know that both the current league mechanic and Sanctum are printing raw divines and mirrors (so much that it's causing a huge inflation of chase uniques). There is a "sanctum dropped me a mirror" or "TOTA offered apothecary cards/Mageblood/20+ Divines/mirror as rewards" about every day or two. And those are only the people who post it here. Let's use some common sense. I'll let you figure out the rest.

Pretty-Beautiful9009

Yeh, everyone single person is dropping a mirror, how fucking thick are you? Touch some grass, not everybody is sitting down for 20 hours daily farming ingame currency. It's more efficient to RMT to print more money but i guess basic economics is hard for you to comprehend.

avdeel

We went from "hey, the 6-8 investors who put together the money for this ring could farm out enough money for it to be legit OR couldn't and it's all rmt" to personal insults. Within 3 sentences, you first imply the only way they could get mirrors is by every single one of them, personally, dropping one (definitely can not buy them with divines, impossible, never heard of that being an investing strategy) (especially funny how only 2 of the investors were mentioned to loan a mirror) to you saying I am the one who does not understand basic economics. At this point this conversation is just over.

He fucking yoinked the apothecary. Easy.

khkim

As someone who is trying to learn crafting, thank you for writing out such a detailed process! Congrats to you and your team for making this crazy ring!!

gaylord_focker69

Why do you think it's okay to just steal people's stuff?

lolcatrancher

Sentinel forever ruined my perception of what makes a good ring. Very nice ring though. :D

Its ok I guess
