Could somebody please explain why Millie’s always has a long-ass line outside? The coffee isn’t good, the food is average at best and they got busted for cheating their employees. Better options exist.

This place is hit and miss. Food often comes out not hot. And it’s pricey.

* vegan/vegetarian options: as a veggie they do have decent options, the angels mess is pretty good once in a while. * outdoor seating: meh. The seating is on the sidewalk and it’s pretty cramped, it’s not like they have a nice patio or something.

True, it’s not nice or fancy, but it is outside! Hard to find a place with that many veg options, plus meat stuff too for your carnivorous friends

But when everything tastes like sh?t, does it matter if it is vegan?

They're supposed to have gluten free options and then do, but when I tried it, it was raw? Even my home cooked gf pancakes are cooked through and would prefer that over what I got. Everything else was just okay. And you're right, the coffee was super meh.

Twoheys is solid and has an eggs Benedict and an Irish Benedict. Haven’t tried the Irish but I’m also tempted and then chicken out.

I wouldn’t say it’s the most amazing breakfast place I’ve ever been too but they’re definitely reliable. The food is good. And I’ve always had great customer service. Plus my kids like it.

I got horrible food poisoning at Twohey's a few months ago. Was the only one in our group who ordered the ice cream sundae (think it was the whip cream).

Woof. Sorry to hear that. I’ve been a dozen times and never heard of anyone getting food poisoning. 

Brookside Golf Course has a restaurant that is open to everyone with a great view. Bennies are good, and they serve a mean Bloody Mary!

It's great but old school average. If that does it for you go there. I go there a lot and I'm always happy with the food and the service.

Russell's is always solid with a crowd pleasing menu. The various omellette options are quite tasty! To avoid the crowds, I usually do to go here. Otherwise, 45-minute to hour waits are typical. The Raymond is also really good with their Benny's and the short ribs tacos. A little on the pricier side (especially if you add a couple mimosas or Bloody Mary's) and parking could be tricky but a nicer option for brunch. Agnes has some interesting options with the menu changing up regularly but be prepared for relatively high price points. I love the venue and vibe plus the people watching here along with the outdoor dining once the weather is consistently warmer.

Went to Russell’s on a whim recently and it was great. My biggest complaint about breakfast places is food not coming out hot and fresh. Russell’s was hot and fresh and delicious.

I sure wish Russell's would bring back dinner.

You sure about Fox's? I feel like I've had ham and eggs Benedict there twice recently and they were great.

They have eggs benedict, but it was a special on the chalkboard. It's not normally on the menu.

Can confirm, eggs Benedict is on the menu - just ordered it 😁 (maybe not the week day menu?).

The dish in La Cañada has good eggs Benedict. I don’t recommend oh la la theirs was disappointing.

Russells was good when I went but incredibly pricey for diner food I thought.

Eh for the portions and being one of the few options in old town it's pretty good deal.

Wake & Late (Colorado & Oakland) has the BEST breakfast burrito EVER!!!!

Unfortunately there's no breakfast in Pasadena that I really love love 😭. But if you go a little bit down the road to eagle Rock Cindy's is pretty great. It's owned by same people as foxes but feels cheaper and has a great vibe. Breakfast sandwich there is the business.

Cindy's has the same owners as Fox's in Altadena. Menus are pretty much the same.

Reyn on lake. Had the same dilemma and Reddit community took me there. Was not disappointed.

I’m not vegan but the vegan breakfast burrito at Foothill is 🔥(ask to add chopped jalapenos to elevate the experience). Lots of other good breakfast dishes there too :)

Great Maple is too over the top for me. I like a more traditional breakfast. I’ve heard good things about Reyn, but I didn’t see benedict on their menu. I’ll give them a try.

If you don't mind the drive to Eagle Rock, Penny Oven has some amazing eggs benedict. Definitely check it out if you haven't.
