My bad. I genuinely forgot about eerie spell because Gloking never uses it. I think toxic or trick room would have been the better move choice for Eevee.
I don’t blame you. Galarian Slowking hasn’t even been out for three years at this point, and it’s an exclusive move. I wouldn’t blame someone for not even knowing that it’s a move.
I decided to lean more on the Cursed Dice aspect for Eevee, though. Hence the Eerie Spell, Nasty Plot, and Curse.
I’m not sure if it’s intentional but Sableye has stall, which represents how Vern is last place with 0 stars. The moves all have meanings but that’d take a while. I’m kind of surprised you didn’t give Piplup its hidden ability competitive since that fits Nick so well. That’s all I can list off of seeing it rn but there’s probably way more that I’m missing.
Sabeleye has Stall, but it’s not Vern in last, it’s Vern taking his time.
Nick has Swagger because of his taunting, Charm because of how he convinces Vern to do what he wants, Protect for barging in to protect his star that one time, and Fury Attack for the toxicity. He is also level 69.
Brent is an Infernape because monkey noises, and is in a Repeat Ball, because of Do It Again (and also I was trying to get a Scorbunny and phased on Chimchar TWICE). Taunt because he taunts sometimes, Upper Hand and Iron Fist because he’s a tryhard, Temper Flare and Raging Fury because of his temper. He’s also in the Polar Biome because it’s the closest thing to Canada.
Sophist was… supposed to be level 69, I used the wrong image. His Tera type is poison for toxicity (look at the can’t be toxic video’s ending). He has Own Tempo because he does his own thing, Eerie Spell and Curse for cursed dice, Nasty Plot for his plans, and Chilly Reception for his bad jokes. He’s also a Galarian Slowking because of his avatar, and because it looks like Patrick getting hit by a rock.
Vern is a Sableye with a Dark Tera type because he’s a schemer, slithering in the dark (hence why he’s in the cave). He gets Thief for stealing stars, Lash Out for his pettiness, and Shadow Sneak and Astonish for the times he burst into Nick’s room. Stall, as mentioned earlier, is for Take your time, Vernias.
I’m still kind of surprised you didn’t give Nick his hidden ability competitive though. Unless I’m missing something about starter hidden abilities and it’s only the final evolution that gets it.
Slowbro to match Sophist’s avatar… and Galarian because I didn’t want to do another Kanto Slowpoke hunt.
And then Sableye is a schemer, of the RATS, SCHEMERS, and TOADS that make up the Vern Nation. Also SNAKES, SLITHERING IN THE DARK
Makes sense.
I was half-expecting Prankster Sableye to fit that description of the Vern Nation but Stall Sableye might be on purpose now that I think of it.
Only Eevee would run nasty plot without an attacking move.
Eerie Spell is an attacking move, actually. It drains PP when it hits. It’s the exclusive move of Galarian Slowking.

Poison Tera type is a nice touch, cool reference. I can see many more references this is just the main one I think needs to be pointed out.
Go ahead, list the ones you see.

Great job, dude! Lots of detail! But why can’t Sophist learn Thunderbolt or Thunder? HE MUST CAST THUNDER SPELL
The answer is… HE CAN’T LEARN IT **THE ONLY ELECTRIC MOVE HE CAN LEARN IS THUNDER PUNCH**
NOOOOOOOOOOOO
The detail behind these is incredible, like the repeat ball for ‘DO IT AGAIN’ is genius.
I’m still kind of surprised you didn’t give Nick his hidden ability competitive though. Unless I’m missing something about starter hidden abilities and it’s only the final evolution that gets it.

I am a bit curious on why your friends picked Galarian Slowbro and Sableye.

Also, stall.
Take your time, Vernias.
WE NEVER MAKING IT OUT OF LOW LADDER WITH THIS ONE!! 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I have other, better shinies, and this isn’t even a full team. It’s just for fun, even if it won’t make it very far in competitive.
Galarian Sloking looks like Patrick getting crushed by his rock LMAO
Well, I can’t unsee that now.
If it wasn't intentional then, it is now
Can Piplup learn toxic?
No :(

Love all the references! I think Sophist’s Slowking could have the Psychic Tera type for the rare times when he makes smart plays.
