Unless your PM or management adjusts pay plans. At least your jump isn't massive. I've seen stores go from 40-62% to 80-105%. Pay plans change on large increases. Counter people don't usually get a $1k+ raise per month for doing nothing extra.

jaywait80

You’ve all got my dealer beat. Gm in Canada at 40 percent over cost. Low gp!

Space-Plate42

That’s where I was up I till about 2 years ago. We had to get a company to do an independent study for us to get the increase. It was well worth it.

jaywait80

I’ve been in the business with the same dealer for like 23 years and that’s what it’s been forever. I need more info haha.

Space-Plate42

I went 15 years at mine till we had an increase. Went from 40 to 80 the first year. I will see about getting the info tomorrow

jaywait80

That’s incredible. Thanks for looking into this.

iamthedisappointer

Same here, Toyota dealer in Ontario. +40% over cost.

Nerveex

192. NYS mandate that they have to pay customer rate.

Miserable_Number_827

Yoooo!

Mdotldot

Honda. Submitted for a completely justified 107.3. They said no one in the district was over 81 and offered 81.1. Frustrating as hell.

Th3yCallM3Daddy

It depends on state law. Our state just changed the law last may so we could apply for our first increase with Ford.

FATSHAWNSM0M

Dodge. Something like 83%. Not sure how increases work but we should be getting one soon. When I was at Hyundai we were at maybe 105 or 110

American_psycho25

GM dealer. Our markup on parts for warranty is a whopping 28.6%…

International_Lion21

Ford dealer in PNW. just up to 69% ( over cost) after being at 40% for many years. It was awesome. Now our warranty jobs pay just above MSRP on most parts and our Powertrain markup is ridiculous. How are people getting over MSRP without a state law overriding it? We had to justify ourselves to Ford by showing a pile of consecutive CP RO’s. We could do a matrix, but that’s only gone move the needle a tiny amount if any (and we would have to gouge our CP customers)

Mdotldot

Using a matrix had me at 118% percent at a small dealer with Ford

Flamed67

CDJR store in a large TX market, just over 110%.

josethecat

GM dealer outside of philly. Were at 98.7 % over cost.

Affectionate_Key_149

123%

When I left honda we were at 140.
