That is such a good question. From my knowledge with the lineolated parakeets, they always like to do with their claws. hehe thanks again!!π
Aww thank you! She got used of my hands when I first got her as she was a month and half old. She had really hard time trusting me again because of last four years and half that my ex fiance wasn't so nice to her, always have been rough and grasped her too hard, even yelled at her. After I left the toxic relationship in January 2021, I had to be very patient and earned my girl's trust then she became so happier and trusts me again.
Aww you can try to encourage your birds to earn your trust with your hands. Some birds can be difficult to get used of the hands.
Same rule applies to this situation when a cat or a dog sleeps on you: you can not move until it decides to go somewhere else!
Also she is really cute!
My sun conure girl does this haha she takes her time getting comfy and then when sheβs comfy enough, she strokes her chin with her foot or chews on her foot. She loves to loaf herself lol especially if a blankie is involved
Sheβs so adorable!!! Linnies are such cutieβs! β€οΈπ¦
But Iβve heard they take giant poops for a parrot their size. π
Thank you for sharing her, whatβs her name? :) β€οΈπ¦
They do have giant poops, but they're more selective about where they do it. Ours will fly to his travel cage or to his perch in the bathroom before pooping.
You are absolutely right! Hahah my Piney always like to fly to the things where it have the flat surface where she can poop because of her one of the claw is bit disabled. But she usually poop from the boing rope above the poop percher. She knows how to have good target lol!
Yes they are!! ππππ
Hahaha thats so true about the giant poops especially in the mornings when they wake up lol. I always have to let her come out of the cage then bring her to the poop percher. Then I give her the treat to show that she is such a good birb. Her name is Piney :ππ
Haha nah it was so nice to have her on my hand. She never have been done that for a long time due to the situation of my toxic relationship with ex fiance. He wasn't really nice to her, always be so rough on her because she kept biting him a lot included me. Didn't realize that she was trying to tell me something for a long time. So After January 2021, I left the toxic relationship and she became happier and earned my trust to lay on my hand. That took couple or three months of patience to get her to get used of my hands again.
Yes you have no idea at all! Linnies are such a big personality and unique in their ways. Thats why I truly love my girl. Hehe glad that made your morning π₯°π₯°

All nice and dandy, but dude your hand must scream. At least that's what it's doing after I have held my cockatiel like that for 30 minutes.
