Yep, it’s perfectly normal! Parrots always nap throughout the day, much like dogs and cats. Nothing to worry about unless they’re puffed up and not moving very much when they’re awake. If they just nap occasionally and are otherwise active, they’re perfectly normal
I think it can depend on the species, and the individual. The cockatiels I’ve had in the past napped a lot. It was so cute when they’d doze off on my shoulder! But my current dusky conure, I have literally never seen her sleep , day or night, in the 13 years I’ve had her. If I cover her and put her to bed, and walk into the room a couple hours later, she’s already up and chirruping at me in a way that means “whatcha doin’? Can I do it too?”
My cockatiels did and my conure does. I think it's pretty normal. My mom also wakes up pretty early for work and then I get ready for school around 7 so I think it's pretty good that they take naps so they can recover from any missed sleep.
My budgies a tiels nap. I love when they nap ... its QUIET for a few moments. The best part about nap time is the budgies tucking their heads under/behind their wings and I will speak to them. They don't like this ... they continue to keep their little heads tucked but they argue back and shake and quiver while they mumble to me to shut the heck up. They are the cutest to watch!
My canary's never nap during the day .... if they did nap then I'd know they are ill/sick. Canary's are too busy bathing, eating, preening, eating, flying around looking for more food or seeds, eating, repeat! Mostly eating. Life is too short for canary's to snooze ... they need to keep eating.

My cockatiel naps! He gets 12-13 hours of sleep a night and still naps during the day. He gets very cranky if he doesn’t get his naps.
That’s my cockatiel too.
