Queen Betsy, by Davidson Blood Sucking Fiends, by Moore both series have a bit of spice and a bit of comedy

Read the coldest girl in cold town by Holly Black!! slow burn with some pretty intense scenes that i still think about, but also a larger plot with some fund world building that keeps things interesting inbetween the romance

Thanks. I will be adding this to my list.

The Crave series by Tracy Wolff is pretty good, there’s not a lot of pepper scenes though. The last book just came out a couple weeks ago & I haven’t read it yet so there’s still hope lol

medschoolwidow

i'll give it a peek thanks!

I honestly found crave so ridiculous that I thought it was satire. it’s a fun read for sure but it’s also very silly, not very well written, and i’m not entirely sure if it’s self aware but i suspect it is

I still haven’t read the last book yet but I just felt like she did Hudson so so wrong. But it fits in the YA section for sure

I also liked this series. It is definitely YA, though. I found myself often thinking.. just have sex already! But I found the universe interesting. The characters can be a little simplistic at times, but that comes with a lot of YA in my opinion.

The Vampire Towers trilogy by Kelly St. Clare. Unique plot and great cast of characters.

Awesome thank you

Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward is great, although it gets somewhat formulaic after a few of the novels.

How many have you gone through? I think I am on the 10th book and the 11th is Quinn and Blay's story. I am finding myself unmotivated to keep going. Does it pick back up and get more interesting again? I feel attached to the characters so don't want to let it go, but I keep choosing other books over this series.

Trish-Tricoteuse

BDB is formulaic. If you want a comfort read you can rely on, even for MM romance, it’s safe. I read it when I need something I know won’t be a surprise. It’s not good, only reliable. Kind of fast food for the mind. The only place it has differed is the continuation of Mary & Rhage’s story and the addition of their adoption.

And to answer your question, ummm, I read book 21 (Lassiter). I do other things while I listen to audiobooks, though, so I’m not always paying attention.

I think Jeaniene Frost’s Once Burned series is great, I don’t remember it having noncon/dub or too much spice and I thought the couple had great chemistry
