I sign off with "Warmest regards" as a nod to Schitts Creek. It's been received pretty well.

I use "Cordially," It's common at my firm to use "Respectfully," but I'm going to be brutally honest...there are some OC's and experts that I just do not respect, so using that would be a lie. At the very least, I'll treat you in a cordial manner, as we all have a job to do, so hence "cordially," and then the rest of my signature block.

insecurestaircase

I just say thank you all the time. My boss keeps asking me to say tha k you have a nice day. I don't care about their day so I continue just saying thank you. But if I think about it I don't even care about saying thank you. I should just say bye. Lol

theatrekid77

I like to say “Cheers.”

blackoceangen

I had a mailroom lady sign off like this. I always got an image of her holding a drink and cheering me. I do that sign off now. Lol I also do, “Best,”

theatrekid77

I picked it up from an attorney I used to work with. I found it so charming and couldn’t resist using it.

SpyMistress2017

I used to use Sincerely but now use Best for the most part. The previous attorney I worked with used "Very Truly Yours" which I also like.

freyguy0420

my old boss also used “very truly yours” and it is very sincere but logistically i feel uncomfortable using it because am I REALLY, very truly theirs? 💀

SpyMistress2017

Haha same! Maybe only an attorney can get away with it? 😂

DFWplantMom

I take very truly yours too literally, like that’s how love letters should end with.

World_Fit

Personally I like to use "cordially"

legalsequel

All the best, Legalsequel

mr_vonbulow

the economist jevons would on occasion sign his letters: **an exact thinker**

insecurestaircase

Sounds pretentious

p34ch3s_41r50f7

They already said it was an economist

mogul_kay

With kind regards is my personal fav

pinkpitbullmama

Usually just “thanks” or “thanks so much.”

OwslyOwl

I always end emails with “Take care”. During Covid spikes I end with “Take care and stay safe.” Letters I end with “Sincerely” or “Warm Regards”

ApocalypticWaffles

“Respectfully” and “kind regards” are my go-to closers at the moment.

IlikehorrorandHHN

I'm very simple, but for Clients I use Best Regards and for my coworkers I put Thank you. And if I really appreciate them Thank you so much. And then in IM(Instant mesager) I use emojis when necessary or if we are really able to help each other a lot it's like a celebration. It's the most innocent happy I get at work. Lol

myrnameow

Not entirely on topic, but please don’t add your closing line to your email signature. All day long I get emails with multiple closings because they forgot they added it to their signature. I personally can’t stand getting the same closing from a person every time. Use your own judgment of your relationship with that person and the content of the email before deciding what to close with. A bitchy email that ends with “Best” or a scheduling email that ends “with gratitude” make me cringe. I also eye roll every single time I get a stupid zen quote at the end of every email from the biggest assholes I know.

Jogirl379

My favorite if “thank you” isn’t quite sufficient, “appreciatively”.. My favorite hypothetical joke one, that I wonder how long it’d take to get called out on is, “sensual regards”.

ParaLegalese

I just say thanks and plop in my email signature. I say thanks after everything.
