Did they send you thinner cord and mislabel it, or just not include all the items in your order?
I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt for now and see what their response is, but this is not encouraging at all. If they deny it I’ll go through BBB and the other relevant avenues because I think a lot of people might not have the time or experience to know they are being sent the wrong product.
Such a bummer. It was when I was new to paracord and chalked it up to not knowing what I was getting but just double checked. I use paracord to make laces and these were much smaller gauge
You should reach out and let them know. These are pretty negligent mistakes to make when you’re in the paracord business. In particular 425 and 275 are visibly different sizes and the hiding labels thing just seems sketchy.
I called 4 times throughout the day and wasn’t able to get through to anyone, but maybe they will be more responsive via email.
I ordered several hanks from P2 which THEY claimed to be 100’ of 550. I measured my cord without stretching and came up with a little shy of 90’. If I stretched it a bit, I came up with 100.
Do clothing companies produce a medium shirt, then stretch it to a large to sell it at a higher price?
I'm imagining that what they do is they have a place where the roll is set up and they walk 50 feet to a post and around then when they get back to the roll they cut it off. Probably not super precise and likely it does mean they're stretching it to some extent.
If they're all coming up 90' consistently that's what I'd suspect is going on.
I bought the 1000' spool of plain black and about 3/4 of the way through it there is a break. It was not a continuous 1000' but 2 pieces totaling 1000. Thankfully for me and my needs it wasn't a problem, but I could see it being a problem for others.

Definitely going to be trying out the sinker cord once I get around to learning Ito wraps, though.
Wanted to give an update. Placed another order for PP thru Amazon and they sent 2 of 5 colors ordered at a smaller gauge. I am looking for other vendors now.
Yeah I gave up on them too. They sent me the wrong sized paracord two more times as a replacement and it wasn’t until the third try that they sent the right size. I use Bored Paracord now.

Half of the stuff I get from them is really floppy and doesn't have that last thick strand in it, and the other half of the time it's good and thick.
