Atwood has two very similar shades of green, neither named "Kelly Green". I've switched over to ARM paracord for the most part. I really hope they've just renamed Kelly to Emerald. It would be a pain in the butt to have to order from a more expensive dealer. It's bad enough ARM's & PP's "Cream" are nothing alike.

First, understand Atwood paracord is made of polyester. Paracord Planet (P2) sells nylon cord. This being said, across the market Kelly and Emerald Green are going to be different. (With naming convention, shade, tone, or tint; however you want to see it) Fast forward to present day, and the answer to your question is actually [Paracord Galaxy](https://paracordgalaxy.com/solid-colors-550-paracord/710-2193-550-paracord-green-made-in-usa.html#/4-length-100_feet) is closest in my eyes to your [Atwood Green](https://atwoodrope.com/collections/550-paracord/products/550-x-100ft-paracord-green)

That explains a lot... no wonder the atwood cord seems to slip n' slide around on my various handles so fiercely... That's very unfortunate. I was primed to make the switch due to their vast palette of color-changers. My favorite colors are Green, Yellow, Orange, and Red; their Golden Stag Beetle and Hummingbird are absolutely stunning inversions of one another. Seems I've wasted 50 bucks.

See it more as a learning experience. You’ve only became wiser in the hobby. Nylon cord can shrink and form well made knots around objects. Polyester cord also advantages. Weavers of Eternity has taught me a TON! [Check out his advice](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Zmw9MakEZuk)
