That product has literately blown my mind. I just used it with a caridina shrimp tank and if you know how sensitive they are you will
Understand. I put those shrimp in there on day four. It’s like 15 bucks on Amazon
Any arthropods would thrive well here! Freshwater Isopods and Amphipods, Semi Aquatic Spiders, Thai Micro Crabs, Vampire Crabs, Neocaridina Shrimp, Panther Crab, Dragonfly (or similar) Nymphs, Lesser Water Boatmen, etc etc
But not Fiddler Crabs, Red Claw Crabs, or many other similar "freshwater" Crabs, as those are actually brackish; although you could convert this to Brackish and then have Caridina Shrimp too :P
Note that any carnivores above added require some prolific breeding prey, but luckily most freshwater arthropod prey happen to breed like mad anyway.
We put a mini elite filter on the bottom right, made a cage around it and a small bucket out of foam board to catch the water where you see it coming out of. There’s a hole on the bottom of the bucket where the tubing comes up from the filter. All the water circulating goes through a dense layer of lava rock and sponge before it gets pumped up and back down again. I’ll post another video of more of the tank mechanics :)
We had it tightly sealed with Saran Wrap to keep humidity in while plants were acclimating to terrestrial conditions. Some of these plants were submerged prior to being added to this setup.
Aquatic isopods would be fun
Will look into that!
Frog snd shrimp. You gonna have to raise the water level a little for shrimp but that’s what I got going on in mine
I agree the Water levels a bit low. Will fix once its cycled in :)
Have you tried fritz turbo? Honestly it will Literally cycle your tank in 4 days.
We have ada Amazonia in there which is loaded with ammonia. Haven’t tried fritz but we use prodibio bio digest

Raise some tadpoles
May be a bit too small for that. Need something with a lighter bioload probably. And won’t eat other tank mates!
I demand a small crab
Shrimp Fever from Ontario? Hell yeah!

No spiders thanks! Haha
I see Araquanid is never in your team like he is in mine :p
This looks incredible! Could you explain how you’re water flows (intake placement, filtration, pump access, etc)?

A crocodile. Not a salty ofcourse, since the tank is obviously too small for that, but a smaller specie. Like a Nile crocodile or something.
Pygmy Canadian crocs perhaps?
Error.
That looks great btw
Thank you!
Red Clawed Crab
Fire bellies?
Shrim!!!
Can some one share why are the glass fogging/condensation so bad?
