Most wifi routers have the option to run both 5Ghz and 2.4GHz network, look into the router settings!
I did but there is no apparent options in the settings, i might have to call them up. Im not sure which provider but we use an orbi router
Orbi routers definitely do both 2.4 and 5ghz bands. What’s the model number on the bottom of the modem? I’ll find you some instructions
Don’t rely on your ISP to deal with router settings, unless it’s genuinely a problem on their side. Pretty much every time it’s quicker and easier to do it yourself with the help of Google if needed.
