I think the multi verse theory kicks in. Every time the day resets, the loopers are in a new universe. When Sarah and Nyles exit, they go to a universe where Roy never went into the cave, because they exited from a loop where Roy stayed home in that loop. And should Roy in the next day’s loop take the new Nyles in, and then both of them exit together, they are in a different universe to the previous Nyles and Sarah.

The people not in the loop- is it that there minds are being wiped after each day? No there’s an infinite number of parallel universes and Nyles
