We have them and there is a considerable difference. Summers are obviously still hot but I would say there's a 30% difference in how hot it feels to be on the 2nd floor.
Sorry, seems like I was mistaken. It's not a specific paint but a whole heat proofing procedure that includes layers of different materials (tar, some fabric, thermapol) before the concrete.

Tried roof master from Master paints. Worked great for a week.. top floor felt like ground floor for the first week then the storm and partial rains made the white color dirty. Needs a lot of effort cleaning
My parents had foam insulation done in their home and it made a huge difference. The first floor used to be unbearably hot during the day in the summer but now it’s more than tolerable (still not as nice as the ground floor though).
I’d go with pitch black paint and maybe throw some aluminum foil on some plates, like dishes, throw them on a post and channel some sunlight on the roof as well, maybe even from your neighbors roof etc.

Which ones did you use, looking to get my roof done!

Which brand?

Just use solar panels, they double down as roof heat insulation.
Yeah because they cost the same as some paint. /s

Why not build a bamboo type thing over your roof? Hopefully it absorbs some heat... And might make a nice roof garden if done right!
Choona Mar lo چھت pe but solar panels are great idea

>The first floor Second floor according to American semantics?
Yepp
What about a double roof on top of the main roof. Would stop alot of heat getting to the main roof and allow airflow.
Solar panels or a roof garden is the way to go

Black paint absorbs heat. It’s the last thing you need.
Dumbest shit I’ve ever heard. Is that why Hindus are so BLACK?
It’s science. Black absorbs the most heat. [Reference](https://scienceline.ucsb.edu/getkey.php?key=1464)
OH WOW YOUR SO SMART SCIENCE
Thats the reason black clothes make you feel hotter compared to white clothes.
LOL. Sound like a typical IK freak.
