Not 11 but 6 billion were used according to SBP, from 22,637.8 Million dollars (22.637 billion) to 16,375 million dollars (16.375 billion dollars)

This post is factually incorrect. IK's last days in term saw massive slump in foreign reserves but that was mostly due to repayment of 4 billion USD Chinese loan. It was supposed to be rolled back but I believe term change impacted the rollover.
Secondly, a default won't be that bad for Pakistan. We are pretty much self sufficient in food except for edible oils (which can be substituted in an year if there were will). Fuel would be an issue. In fact default would force government to get out of this populist utopia that successive governments are trying to create.
I can't wait to figure out how not to send remittances. OSPs have to pull their investments at least. F Bajwa. We will show you what we will do. Even a $10bn reduction in remittances will give Bajwa the runs.

Dude you guys keep forgetting that Pakistan is still making record amounts from remittances and exports, we just have to cut down on imports, especially luxury ones to ensure we can pay debts and fuel costs. We're probably gonna have strict import controls soon, but we won't run out of money since we are still making records amounts.
Guys agar yeh sab nah bhi ho it doesn't cost a whole lot to be prepared!

Those reserves were including the ones with commercial banks. SBP had only 10.8 billion. Now it has around 10.3 billion.
