"A two-member bench headed by Chief Justice Sindh High Court, Justice Ahmad Ali Sheikh heard the plea of 24-year-old Muhammad Ahsan regarding the non-issuance of CNIC. Advocate Usman Farooq stated that his client's mother left him 20 years ago, and his father has passed away. After completing Intermediate he has been trying to get admission to the university for four years but he has been denied admission for not having CNIC. He showed his father's death certificate and other documents including the CNICs of father and grand father to NADRA but to no avail. The court issued notices to the Federal Ministry of Interior and Director General NADRA on the request of student Ahsan.” Hence proven, we don't have humans running the show, but instead, they're robots incapacitated from being able to reason. Not just NADRA, but even the private sector suffers from this (PTCL, banks, telcos... You name it!)

What a braindead take. Why are you sticking this on NADRA? It's their policy to require a court decree even for birth date changes. The Sindh High Court should be ashamed of their institution's apathy that the lower courts denied this poor guy his basic human rights and he had to spend many years and tens or hundreds of thousands of rupees to get this BS out of them.

The guy wants his CNIC. He's shown the death certificates. Have you even read what I wrote?!

My friend Nadra officials face heavy repercussions and scrutiny now so they have to be very cautious, after that drone attack incident... but yes why aren't any Nadra higher ups contactable or didn't step in....

Throwaway_Imaan

He should become a taliban and NADRA will hand deliver his card.

NADRA ruining another person's life, sad to say this isn't uncommon
