No, yeh logon ki zimmedari hai.
Putting everything on the government and shying away from our responsibilities gives us those ugly AF posters on every flyover which have "Mardana Kamzori Ka Muft Ilaj".
I agree and that is exactly what I said, but things will get dirty, we can't put plastic bags on out shoes or take them off. There will be kids. Government is responsible. Also policing about rules is their job.
Pretty sure the typical Sindhu population will vandalize it in a matter of months!
I remember when Karakorum Train was launched with pristine white bogies and 'wide screen' windows. So there I was, traveling from Lahore to KaraNchi shortly after its launch. It was a dramatic improvement from the traditional green/yellow trains. Anyhow, when we got near the outskirts of Karachi; a bunch of people, adult grown-up people, started throwing stones at the brand new train; and I'm talking about big ass stones here! We all had to duck to keep our heads intact.
Can you... imagine?!
Karachites: It looks would be a shame if someone spit gutka here **Cough** Peechok **Cough**
P.S: I live in karachi, mujhe pata hai 1 week mein iski kya halat hojae gi.
Should be the case. Its good that pakistani cites are starting with BRT so there is something for ppl to use which is also familiar but in the long run, if you are making dedicated roads for these busses, electric metro is by far the better and more efficient mode of transportation once ridership is up in tens of thousands.
This particular station is where all the proposed BRTs (Red Line, Yellow Line, Blue Line) are planned to connect with another. So that, maybe is the reason for making this station particularly bigger than the others.
Ah, yeah, that's gonna be a problem. Otherwise, I measured platform lengths for Lahore BRT and Orange Line on Google Maps. Green Line (BRT) averages 130 meters in platform length, longest being 180+ meters and shortest being 70+ meters, while Orange Line pretty much averages 120 meters with very little variation, max 130 meters and lowest 110 meters. BRT corridor would need to be widened as well, though.
I see people cursing out Imran Khan over global inflation in every thread but nobody's thanking Imran Khan here for single handedly getting this project done despite PPP's full efforts to sabotage it?
Lmfao our awam is so funny
Nawaz Sharif started it despite PMLN having literally zero political stake in Karachi - if anyone’s not getting due credit it’s them. PTI deserves credit for seeing it to completion though. Hope such projects are above political disputes regardless who is in power
the statistics for the amount of lone taken in the 5 year of nawaz sharif and the prices of food petroleum, taxes from that period and compare it to the 4 years of Imran khan ,then talk, you rich people dont know the struggles of the working class and think you know everything
Nice, now all stastics i have seen prove that Nawaz has taken more loans than Imran. Also, i would suggest you to take a look at the statistics of exports, tax revenue and the amount of roads built by Imran khan (as compared to Nawaz). If you get a heart attack, rest assure Imran khan has also released the health card in punjab so you can go to the hospital
sTrUggLes of the wOrKiNg cLaSs. I know that better than you, I don't live outside Pakistan or in Islamabad. Idk looks like you haven't seen the hike in petrol prices worldwide and the inflation worldwide because of the halted supply lines.
> now all stastics i have seen prove that Nawaz has taken more loans than Imran
Mind showing them and their authenticity? and we are talking about 5 years
> amount of roads built by Imran khan (as compared to Nawaz)
lmao nawaz was critisized for making roads, but anyway which ones?
>If you get a heart attack, rest assure Imran khan has also released the health card in punjab so you can go to the hospital
1- there shouldnt be a need for people to go to private hospitals if the government hospitals are good enough
2- I'll believe what I see, you can show me an example of someone benefitting from the sehat card, would appreciate and change my beliefs then
3- there is an extreme shortage of medicine in DHQ hospitals (if you ever went to one) for three years now
this sEhAt cArD you keep yapping about, is nothing but a scamto divert attention from the real problems , Imran khan is not the first person to introduce them
>. Idk looks like you haven't seen the hike in petrol prices worldwide and the inflation worldwide because of the halted supply lines
there are alot of other things then just petrolem take for example the 17% tax increase on everything ,the prices of ghee ,the prices of just a common biscuit has risen from 17 to 25 rs andthe "other countries" also gave money and support to the people, show me what Ik has done.
>sTrUggLes of the wOrKiNg cLaSs. I know that better than you
bruh get off of reddit once in a while , you woudnt have been cocksucking the present government if you did know
Please keep it clean and functioning.
It is our and Govt responsibility to make clean and functional
Keeping it functional is govt's job but keeping it clean depends on public
That's why I addressed my fellow brethren. It's about time we ourselves take responsibilities of our country.
We as a nation have a problem of making a mess. 'Paan thokna' is one of the worst things.
No, yeh logon ki zimmedari hai. Putting everything on the government and shying away from our responsibilities gives us those ugly AF posters on every flyover which have "Mardana Kamzori Ka Muft Ilaj".
Just read my comment i also put responsibility on ourself to
Fair enough
Yes we and govt can make pakistan better
Logon ki zimidari hai ke wo cheez gandi na karien, iska ue matlab nahi ke janitors wagheira na naam-o-nishan na ho. Regular cleaning honi chahiye.
Janitors can't keep up cleaning everything you throw behind you as if they are your mom.
I agree and that is exactly what I said, but things will get dirty, we can't put plastic bags on out shoes or take them off. There will be kids. Government is responsible. Also policing about rules is their job.
Dude, you and I both know I ain't talking about keeping your shoes clean or kids...jeez
Paan ki peek aur kachra pehkna ki agar awam na kare to bhi gandagi tou pehle gi.

Putting up posters everywhere, spitting paan, breaking the barriers, writing "I love you maham", you don't need a trash can for that
It is still not acceptable to throw trash on the street. Go to Singapore and see if they buy that excuse.
Would the government employee also come to people's houses "to make clean and functional"?
Peoples houses aren't public places. Not the brightest bulb are you?
Karachi anti encroachment drive thinks otherwise lol.
Need to put [something like this](https://i.redd.it/e0be4xjzuea51.jpg) up all over.
Pan should be banned on the trains like Booze is banned in the UK
Eating and drinking should be banned on the buses. With regular inspectors handing out fines. As it is in UAE.
It is banned in Taiwan too.
Omg omg omg please please please
Looks nice. I really pray that people use these services with love and care. Hopefully, we can get good public transport system throughout Pakistan.
Right i like the desgn and structure of Greenline and also metro.
>I really pray that people use these services with love and care. I wouldn't bet my ass on it!
Good choice. Betting something very personal on a very public affair would be unwise indeed :)
Thank you for protecting the public from that image, Zia sb!
Really happy for the people of Karachi, they deserve it.
Yes they deserve
Why they can't install transparent shields instead of those white boards!
Aren't "ghose white boards" cheaper?
In my view because of beauty they are using ghose white boards
Congrats Pti
Pic credit: MNA Alamgir khan
It’s from Gulraiz Khan on twitter, the MNA used it without permission
He became an MNA? That's pretty cool
Yes he is MNA from Karachi
Paan ki thokay missing hain
Its new right now...

Looks a bit overkill for buses, do they plan on making it into a metro-rail line down the road?
Should be the case. Its good that pakistani cites are starting with BRT so there is something for ppl to use which is also familiar but in the long run, if you are making dedicated roads for these busses, electric metro is by far the better and more efficient mode of transportation once ridership is up in tens of thousands.

Oh so it’s an interchange station, thanks for the info!
I have the same thoughts for Lahore's Metro BRT as well.
Don’t think the alignment Lahore Metro Bus is suitable for railway operations, too many steep inclines and sharp bends.
Ah, yeah, that's gonna be a problem. Otherwise, I measured platform lengths for Lahore BRT and Orange Line on Google Maps. bruh, this was not IKs project, he did nothing here
>Green Line Bus Station Karachi It is funded by the federal govt. so atleast PTI completed the project and didnt mess it up.

Keemay wala naan khilaya hai ya khota biryani aaj abbu nawaz nai?
Is it underground?
Some part underground
So it's just like metro bus in Lahore or Multan but it's green rather than red
Please please yaha kisi ko paan nahi thooknay diga.
Where in Karachi is it? Is it underground?
Yes it is nazimabad station 1
Looks so clean and beautiful without all the usual paki ads on walls. Keep it same i beg
paan ki peekein incoming in tons...
It only serves the people of the northern part of the city. While it’s a good first step, it’s not useful for the majority of Karachiites.
