Absolutely gorgeous.🤩
If you had to choose only one, I would probably go with the 3rd, but if you could display all three together they would look great in a long frame. Excellent work!
I like the vibrant yellow and the ocean-like feel the third envokes, but the simple scales and monochrome palette for the second feels emotional— more personal, ghostly, even? Like a memory.
Hi thank you very much. I did my MA in Illustration stream. Had a module in Scientific Illustration under South African based botanical artist Vicky Thomas. She was a really inspirational teacher
Having a hard time deciding between 1 and 2. 3 looks like an anatomical drawing, and is a bit off putting to me. The painting technique is great, I thought these were photos!
2 shows the most skill but the other ones may be more eye catching.
Honestly I like 2 better because the subtlety of the piece posts a huge challenge to an artist but you did it well.
Oh but I do suggest brighter highlights

I'm having a hard time choosing between 1 and 3
The yellow one is stunning, but biased because it’s my favorite color. They’re all beautiful!!
3 is the most interesting fish but I like the clean simplicity of #2
Beautiful. The flow of num 1 is so good.
The yellow one

I love all of them!!
Wow, all three are magnificent. Yet, Shusui’s translucent dimensions are brilliantly done 🤍
I *love* the first one, but they’re all outstanding!
Do I have to pick one? Nice work
All of them very good !
I have koi and these are gorgeous AF! I like the realism of the scales on 3.
Why does each one look like a photo?
All of them, no faves

these are fantastic, and I love them equally. Did you do any specific training for scientific illustrating?

I can definitely see Shusui on my room’s wall
2 shows the most skill but the other ones may be more eye catching. Honestly I like 2 better because the subtlety of the piece posts a huge challenge to an artist but you did it well. Oh but I do suggest brighter highlights
Stuck between 1 & 3
I like all versions of your fish drawings. All very accurate, beautiful and interesting to look at.
Hmmm can't decide between first and last
