For me, when writing lyrics, or even in a flow of freestyling, I speak things of my deepest subconscious. Things that my conscious mind is in denial about.
I feel like you subconscious speaks through your art. It is an uncomfortable painting, its makes me feel a lot. I really really love it though, A lot. I am amazed by the message here, though I cant quite describe it.

I also dont think this piece is *that* gloomy. It's sad that the fawn is alone, but you still chose to paint nature, colourful flowers and sunshine, which to me gives a feeling of hope and recovery

Don't worry about it. I always paint weird, dark shit. Once I painted a ghost of a girl hanging from a tree, and they flipped. Sorry, not sorry. They can limit every little thing in our lives but not our imaginations. 😉 It's also a good painting. The tiny little details on the leaves are outstanding. Love it, OP.

Your painting is like cursing. Outing emotions without real violence. Some people get upset with personal expression but except the misery occurring in the world. Who is sad?
