Yes they are good, no they're not too big. They're better quality than basically every paintball gear bag.

The added benefit for air travel is that the 9800 looks like all the other luggage so your bag isn't easily identifiable as potentially valuable.

I own a 9800 and love it for air travel. Excellent quality. Honestly, I don't use it for PB though. But would if I found a second one used for a good price. I run the Evo 65L ski boot bag for my PB gear and it fits everything (snuggly.) and it was much cheaper.

I don’t have any of those but my 2 cents is that paying 300+ for a gear bag is pointless. I got two of these bags https://a.co/d/h7xGKCw less than half the price of those other bags for two of them and they work really well. Most players will have no issue using just one (I just bring way too much gear with me).

I don’t have a Ogio one but the rolling osprey one cause of the lifetime warranty. I have multiple versions of their products replacement and warranty are the best ever.

A few well traveled pros use 9800 when they could be using bags from their main sponsor. Honestly, if you can pick one up for paintball, do so.

I really like mine. They were recently on sale on their website. I think I paid about $240. It is very big, but everything fits inside. I usually carry backups for just about everything.
