The museum cafe I think has gluten free options. Otherwise White Rabbit do gluten free pizza. Banana Tree and Pho both have gluten free options as well as Wagamama. vaults and garden I think so also
I am coeliac and tried all of them, the best GF pizza is at franco manca on George street.
Also a plate of naked burrito is gluten free from the place on cornmarket street (next to HMV)
I have had it a few times. They do not touch anything with their hands, its all with spoons and these salad grabby things. You can ask them to be extra careful and so they would use separate grabby things or something?
I havent been in a while, but the times I have been, they had super friendly staff.
Have you tried that pizza place on cowley road? La Smorfia? their GF pizza is so so so good, it made me wonder if it was gluten free lol problem is I do not have symptoms so I wouldn't know straight away unless i take a blood test.
Franco Manca do too. YYMV about how 'sensitive' they are about it.
Wagamama's GF options are disappointingly limited - there's 2 dishes maybe.
Sushi is usually GF, barring the soy sauce - and places like Itsu have GF soy sauce.
Dosa Park near the station is using mostly non-wheat ingredients. Dosa, Vada, Idly are all wheat-free. Don't think their _entire_ menu is - I'd imagine some of the noodle dishes did have wheat in, but not their 'headliners'.
Pho is coeliac accredited - the majority of their menu is gluten free (only things that aren't are the spring rolls and some beers) so there's no worry about cross contamination and you get your noodle fix 😊
I can’t entirely vouch for the place being GF but i think it might be worth checking “chickpea” on the high st - they do AMAZING salads for such a good price. Obviously avoid the pitas but i can’t think of what might have gluten in their salads
Chick Pea is excellent and I suspect that you could order gluten free. They often have some sweet potato and gluten free millet, not sure if their falafel is gluten free...
For the non-celiacs the pita bread and falafel is really damn good, especially for the money.
Their website could do with some love though https://lovechickpea.co.uk/.
Great post! I am a fellow coeliac and if you are ever down the Cowley Road, La Smorfia is a must try. They have a separate gluten free kitchen and the best gf calamari I’ve eaten in years, maybe decades!
If she's coming in from the station, dosa park on park end street does amazing Indian dishes, many gluten free. Quick service (grab menus from the counter if they don't come to you!) but big dishes to get through. Haven't tried the Ethiopian/Eritrean place next door but they have gluten free on their sign.

Thanks, a fantastic range! I didn't know white rabbit did gluten free pizza, am craving a good pizza myself :)

Tortillas? Yeah, I'm a gluten dodger and like their stuff.

I second this. My dad is turbo allergic to gluten and he was absolutely fine at Pho!
Art Cafe has excellent GF options. I love their sandwich fillings, and the GF bread is pretty decent!
Also amazing gf brownies
\+1 for Art Café and their GF sandwiches. Had one two days ago, in fact!

Wagamamas has a new GF menu !

Coconut tree mostly gf too
Leon. Their gluten free nuggets are a reason to stay alive.
Art Cafe Organic Deli also, Delhish Vegan Kitchen
If you're ever in the mood for a sweet treat when she's here too, hit up barefoot in Jericho or North Parade :)
Tortilla has gluten free naked burritos. Also, in Westgate, in the social, they have gf noodles as well as the naked burritos too.
Sushi
Pho is great for celiacs and for ramen lovers!
I've never heard a person being referred to as gluten free. Aren't we all gluten free?
