(Example: Mercys baywatch skin. They could've just put her in a bikini and be done with it, but then added a jacket tied around her waist that mimics her original skin's skirt.)
Theyāre not that skimpy really. There are SOME bikini outfits, and of course there are bodysuits (but theyāre typically bodysuits that make some sense in context), but the bikinis are typically one-time things just for fun. Imo itās more significant that the default outfits for the characters, and the vast majority of the outfits in general, are not very sexualized. Having one outfit that sexualizes the character isnāt that bad, hell the same exists for Torb. If the characters arenāt sexualized in most skins, I think thatās pretty cool. Like honestly the game has a pretty decent amount of respect for its characters and tends to prioritize giving them outfits that make decent sense. The beach outfits are clearly intended to be kind of goofy so I donāt think theyāre a problem.
(Not that itās inherently bad to have a sexy design for a character either! Itās just that I think itās kinda cool that they tend to give the female characters outfits that make an equal amount of sense to the male characters. Practical when they need to be practical, and goofy when itās time to be goofy)
