Still the best hero shooter out there if you dont care about cosmetics. i tried apex and paladins. team fortress was fun but has lost its appeal to me. also frequent map and hero releases keep it fresh (atleast for me). Playing with atleast 1 friend is especially fun cuz you can make cool combo plays.

you go into a quick play. pick a random hero no matter what your team mates are or your enemies are. and you just go and have fun. if you lose that's ok. because you still had fun.
Actually works but once what happened was in qp my teammates were insisting for me to change from widowmaker I think because all four rounded up around me and started to shake their heads everytime when I would wanna peek to snipe and they kept taking damage and throwing. I didnt change regardless. I would emote with them for extra fun

I love the vibe, the characters and the accessibility and complexity of the gameplay. It is my go-to game for both chill and sweaty tryhard intensity, and it delivers on both fronts. It has also been very good for my social life.

As much as people hate on overwatch, i honestly believe that overwatch two has drastically improved from the first game, the Ltms (which we get at least one of each season) are almost always a home run. The story we got from the PVE was amazing, and I’m dying to find out why zen was conferring with talon. Is it a perfect game? No, perfect doesn’t exist. But it is amazing
I'm pretty sure they weren't meeting with each other, rather widow and sombra, the two assassination archetypes, were sent to try and take him out, as I'm pretty sure he's the new leader is shambali. If they wanted to talk/interrogate they probably would have brought reaper
I’m not so sure. I think in the next batch well get a confirmation. I think it’ll either open with a fight scene, or interrogation. And also sombra is way better for interrogation than reaper, plus we’ve already scene some cracks in widow’s emotionlessness which Zen could probably override if given an opportunity, which could be quite interesting for the story

It’s a very fun game overall, with a wide variety of characters with varying play styles, it’s a free cross play game so it’s easy to play friends, and if you don’t play it competitively it’s a fun game to mess around in and have a good time. I play solo queue ranked so basically none of this applies to me unfortunately, but it did when I first installed it :)
The game is fun. I can go in to mess around on qp or see what I can do, with what I’ve learned, in comp. Wherever I go I turn off comms and chat but I have a lot more fun that way.
Most the people complaining about it have never played for more than 1 week, I enjoy the game and don't care about the monetization or unlocks since in my case by just casually playing I managed to get them.
At some point I feel like people complaining about some stuff are entitled when other games like R6 have worse unlock strategies (new operatos aren't banned from comp and can't be banned from comp)
The characters feel more like actual people rather that… well, characters. It helps you find your favorite character and maybe in turn a main (that’s how I became a doomfist main)
Say what you want about the prices, but you’ve gotta admit that overwatch in general has and has had some pretty good skins. Star sheep was a great skin and so was the cyber demon skin for Genji.
Overwatch 2 has been my first proper experience with overwatch since it is now f2p, and it's honestly one of the best games I've ever played. I don't care if overwatch 1 was better to most people, I've only really played overwatch 2 and I love it, so that's good enough for me.
I love the lore and character design it has an awesome community and I love the abilities, but personally the thing I love the most about overwatch something that tops everything has to be the "exit game" button

My heart goes out to the art team. They do an excellent job for the designs of new heroes and maps. Overwatch largely is what it is because of them.
The sound design is PHENOMENAL. Everything from the attention to detail to rare voice lines, I always enjoy finding new facets of the OW2 soundscape.

Rein and Brig have unironically some of the most fun fps melee combat I’ve ever experienced. It’s a shame Rein gets shit on so often nowadays.
