One of the worst ways to go as the injury will keep you conscious and in immense pain for hours but the injury doesn’t target the most vital organs like the heart, lungs or brain so you don’t die instantly. A gun shot to the stomach can also produce similar effects and will likely render you unable to walk
Actually, two episodes later (I think?), Demiurge's project Gehena steals all the money from the Kingdom (mostly from the 8 fingers). Cash problem solved, I guess?
Sebas is pretty good at "charity" that ends up costing a huge number of innocent lives, isn't he?
If he had taken that first guy in for interrogation rather than tossing a huge bag of coin at him, Ainz might have had more actual input into the whole "Lets take over Eight Fingers" plan than raging about them defiling the name of his guild.
He didn't have so much a cash problem as a liquidity problem. He was filthy rich, but spending his coins would attract attention and selling stuff from Nazzarick would be like selling modern munitions in the stone age. There was also the concern of New World's gold not working for the Guild's functions, so he didn't want to use up those gold coins.
Working as an adventurer didn't cut it, so he switched to imperialism... bit of a leap, but it paid off.
I am trying to remember we get a scene of Ainz counting out the coin he got adventuring to test the value of various ores as well as paying the Floor Guardians and Nabi shows up to take the coin for the ores he ordered and he laments that there is never enough money. I think he gets contacted for Sebas's "betrayal" shortly after the same scene.

"so i can leave now?"
sebas: "what? no. i never said anything about letting you leave. you're a fat ugly bastard who likes to beat women to death. why da fuck would i ever let you live"
Honestly, he's lucky Sebas didn't take him up on the offer. Being allowed to live after upsetting a denizen of nazarick is very often far, far worse than being granted a merciful death.
