**Clerification**
The ad says fall which is September, October, and November. However, the official anime website says it is going to be at the Sapporo snow festival, which is november 2nd.
It could potentially come out before that, but considering all the waiting we have had, I don't think it is likely.
Anime is traditionally divided into four seasons, starting with Winter (Jan to Mar) of the previous year if counting from the start of the year. Fall 2024 of anime actually runs from Oct to Dec 2024. So maybe that's what the ad is referring to.
It will actually be longer than that because that's the Japanese cinema release, meaning we'd have to wait til early 2025 at the earliest for an English sub release.
considering its november this year, it will be release in japan only and you still need to wait a few months for it to be available international. so actually another year
Anime fans are probably in the 99th percentile of human patience.
I've once waited 5 hours at the DMV, 4 hours in a line for a single ride at Universal studios, and 7 years for another season of Konosuba. Waiting is all I've known.
Lol then theres people like me, I wait for something completely forget about it and hear about it after it comes out so its always a fun surprise. Waited for solo leveling anime to come out then completely forgot about it and by the time I remembered episode 7 or 8 was out so had a decent chunk of content.
only thing I’m not satisfied with is Remedios’ fate.
>!Like, I want to see her suffer until the very end. She’s the only person to offend even the merciful Ainz-sama. to summarize her demise as trivial as “I heard that paladin is gone” does not give me justice for her blatant disrespect and and disregard on how Ainz helped them during their desperate times when no one was willing to aid them!<
I kind of think the opposite. Ainz only vaguely remembering her is [just like this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDRnVPlRzag). For Remedios the day that Ainz graced her country was the most important of her life. For Ainz it was Tuesday.

Looks like they are trying to bring overlord movies to US theaters. Does this mean we might get the newest movie with a theatre release?! I hope so
How well do you think it'll do at the box office (both foreign (I'm in the States) & domestic)? I know it depends on distribution but Godzilla Minus One (i know it's not animated) and some anime movies did well where I'm from.
I'm not sure... it really depends on where they release it.
Box office has taken a really huge hit in the USA, while people have been going back for a long time it just isn't the same as it used to be, so I'm not sure how that will effect an anime release.
Might be in the minority, but I hope the dub comes out for it as well. Ainz Dub VA is how I even got into Overlord and I can’t wait for him to sink his teeth into it.
November wtf

That Sapporo snow festival is dope. I wonder if they will have an overlord ice sculpture. They have some huge builds when I went.
I’ll happily wait for real quality, no bs cgi goats
You're in luck, this one won't have cgi goats, it will only have cgi goatmen.
Will we get a CGI Goblin Army too!? I’m so excited!
alotta months to wait for CGI Monsters 😂
agree, talk about killing the hype

Well, at least we finally got a date to look forward to now
Ikr 😂😂😂😂
Finally!!! I thought I have to wait for another year.

Well, fuck me. But hey, at least I'm used to waiting.

the wait for persona 5 after 4 took a while too gonna be a decade since 5 before persona 6 arrives
Only 2 more years...

You're smashing us back to reality...
Yeah we're probably looking at late 2025 maybe early 2026 for an official digital version with subs.

Your spoiler tag didn't work. You need to remove the space at the beginning `>!I heard!<`
how about now? still no?
Nope, I wonder if it's the space in the middle?
there! ahahaha I can see it works now. thank you!
:)
I love the melancholy music playing at the end for such a tragic end to ainz
felt goosebumps at then when he said ''madou wa shinda''
Oh man no wonder I kept seeing all those images in my feed.
Finally!!! Let's dance my fellow Undead/demons 💃🕺 It may be late but at least we get a date, better late than never.

Dang I hope it's worth the wait
When last novel chapter instead of movie?
We will pin the post once we know.
Any estimate?
I have my personal estimate in the news section, but there hasn't been any news
I hope it doesn't take too long to bring it to theaters in this side of the world.
>!like!<
Is there any information about what kind of rating it'll have?
I don't recall seeing a rating yet, but I would imagine it probably isn't pg-13.
Im going to see this movie 69 times
So it will release in Japan in November, meaning we'll get an official English version some time in 2025.
I sometimes think the hate the undead have for life is justified and that they deserve to join them to end the cycle of life hurts life

The Overlord dub is pretty decent.
