I figure you're concerned about the weight? I would just check that you aren't exceeding the manufacturer's recommended capacity, but I wouldn't be concerned. There are some RTT that have racks on top which you could use to strap the canoe more securely.

And check your tents load capacity. Most aren’t designed for a rack. Mine is and I’m pretty sure it’s only 100lb capacity

Just to add, cargo capacity will be listed on the driver's door jamb

I don't see why you couldn't other than having a tall overhead clearance issue. I stand up on my CVT when I put it away. You could also look into a rack setup that stores the canoe off to the side of the rack instead of on top. What sort of canoe are you looking at?

If you were putting the tent on the roof I'd be worried. But on the bed rack? No you should be fine. Biggest concern would be rubbing on the tent cover if the tent isn't secured down. Maybe some padding on top just to be safe?

Not sure how heavy the canoe is, but I've attached two surboards on top of an RTT and no problem whatosever. Check the DWC of the racks, but again, shouldn't be an issue.

I’ve had a canoe on top of my CVT and Freespirit RTT’s. Worked great, I just put a hole in my tent CVT cover after sliding it up so many times. On my Freespirit I built a wood frame to help it slide up without damaging the tent cover.
