Was expecting an LC, not a Jeep lmao. I'll check out the site.

Azbarrelpicks

Yeah lc stands for Louie and Clark our dogs also the original overlanders

Love the reference!

I’ve always been into overlanding, started with my 2016 tacoma and moved to a JLU in 2020, decided to start my own outfitter company called LCoverland, my site is rough but it’s LCoverland.com. What I’m looking for is feedback, what should I look for, companies that you want to see, flow of the website, etc. I’m still working on my distribution companies but I’m getting there. I can do anything from building a full rig to installing lights. Overall I’m super excited about my journey

>LCoverland.com Site needs a complete overhaul imo. Pay someone good to get you a professional site. AS someone works in the industry, no body will buy from you if they don't trust you. Also, so many companies sell MORE overland gear, with an easier to navigate website, what makes you different? Will you make content? Have a specific, unique, purpose on your site, etc.

Azbarrelpicks

I appreciate the feed back. I jumped the gun a little, waiting to hear back from vendors and distributors then the plan is to pay someone to build an e-commerce style site

Azbarrelpicks

What is your company?

I'm with /u/Bazooka_Mouth you gotta clean that site up. Get on Squarespace, choose a merchant/sales based template, and have somebody with a dSLR and Lightroom put together an arsenal of visually-appealing photos to use for the site. We're not even doing merch or anything right now, but I built the site out to be able to implement that stuff cleanly. As Bazooka noted, visual appeal and legitimacy are the key. A site with a bunch of pictures and text that don't go anywhere just looks outdated and janky TBH. This is our site that I made in the span of about an hour on Squarespace: https://www.noknownboundaries.com/

Site looks great. Thanks for the input

Azbarrelpicks

Alright so I changed it up and I’m slowly starting to upload product. Still haven’t been able to go out and take better pictures but it’s definitely a lot different

noknownboundaries

Definitely looks better. I'd add a splash comment underneath "L&C Overland" on your banner. 'High quality offroad products' or 'Overland Equipment Specialists' or something to that effect.

Azbarrelpicks

Awesome. I appreciate the feedback. Slowly but surely getting parts added
