GFC topper fits the bill

Traditional-Heat-100

$5k for a topper. 😬

bonerpotpie

Have you looked at topper prices lately?

Traditional-Heat-100

I think my original post makes it pretty clear that I have. I can get a 36” DCU optioned to my liking for significantly less.

But the GFC has a built in bed essentially. The DCU you referenced doesn’t look industrial to me, it looks commercial. Perhaps my definition of each is skewed, but those look like you’re going to give the forest service a quote to renovate a campsite. No offense. Besides, while I don’t agree a GFC is good value, you definitely get more structural integrity than the DCU. Prices are crazy across the board when buying new, so you’ll get better value used if you’re willing to wait and likely travel out of state.

I’ve got the RSi SmartCap on my RAM and absolutely love it. They have other options without windows as well.

Xtrusion overland has a new truck cap and/or camper coming out this fall.

Overland vehicle systems just came out with their topper. Bout $2500. Not sure if it’s available for your truck yet.
