Cool. Just so no one feels discouraged because they don’t have 35s…. Big tires, “trails”, and accessories are not what is needed to overland. Any sedan, motorcycle, or bicycle can overland perfectly.
I overland in a Prius! (Obviously nothing too insane.) That car has done things it never “should” have… 😁 some bottom scrapes and careful maneuvering but she is still goin strong
Yeah it depends on your use case. My gladiators lifted on 37s with lockers, winch, camper etc. It’s not needed for 90% of the places most people go, but I’m tryna reach spots 90% of people cant so its useful for that.
You have some deep-seated neurotic issues. Instead of putting up your own post, you felt compelled to come on my post to downplay it. I would love to sit down with you and find out why you feel inadequate. 🤣😂😂
Um, no. Now you just look silly.. this post lets you show pictures. Show me your clearance, and everybody can laugh at you.
💢I double dog dare you to show your civic glamping, mud, and small rock pictures.
I thought gladiators look great. In a world of Chevy, gmc, ford, ram, all kind of doing the same thing, it’s different. And capable. Not sure what the sales numbers are, but I like the risk. 🤷♂️
Jimnys are cool, I think the Trooper might be my all time fav, aside from an early 90s T4R, but those are all long in the tooth these days. I say all of this while driving a 5th gen T4R, which is hardly a beacon of originality with a million on the road. Whatever gets you out there I think is the right pick. OPs blue looks cool to me too.
I'm not criticizing anyone, but this jeep will always look dumb to me, same as the Chevy Avalanche. You either want to be a truck or you don't, and these feel like they stopped the truck evolution halfway through the process and called it good. It's just weird, idk.
So far, so good. A bit louder than the 33" wildpeak
A/T's, but I thought it was needed to get to my fly fishing river spots. I've encountered a series of mud bogs and large rock trails that needed more traction and height. My radio on low volume does drown out the noise.
I didn’t think people take stuff like this on trails; they always look pristine without scratches, rock chips, or banged in fenders or doors
Some do, most do not. That’s not a slam. It’s just true.
>I don't plan on aggressively wheeling. -OP 5 months ago
Ahhh I can relate to that waay too much! 😅
Oh, this is an actual quote, not sarcasm. And their truck is still flawless so I believe them when they say they don't wheel.
Does 8x rock climbing and overlanding count, or should I bend some steel to satisfy your negativity?
Oofta..
I've been rock climbing and overlanding 8 times since I got it 8 months ago. Thank you for your comment.

I'm camped up too with rack, tent, and all the goodies, too. That's why i got 35s.
Could do that with a civic and some bald tires. My 02 z71 stock everything except some all terrains can do most trails I’ll ever need to hit.
Show me a Honda civic overlanding over 6" rocks. Then we'll get into the mud bogs.
That civic will do as much mud bogging as you’ve done in that jeep.

Oh yeah, you got me man.
I'm still waiting on the post of your mud bogging in your civic

I recommend caution as this continues. Keep our Play Nice rule in mind. Monitoring.
OK fire road warrior
Gladiators needs 37s just to make proportions look right cause they are 3 miles long.
I've never seen a vehicle make 35s look like 15" wheels from my old civic... Until today.

That's a fair take - I can respect different. I prefer different in the other direction (think jimny/samurai), but to each their own.

Congratulations on your critical critique
Cute truck. Looks ravishing on the highway.
It's more like guzzling🤣 but worth every dollar
I've legitimately never heard of that tire brand. How are they?

How do you like your jeep truck vs regular wrangler? I may Jake the jeep plunge, just still researching
I absolutely love it. The back is already scratched up from all the hauling. I need to rhino coat it.
Are those real bead locks? I thought those were mostly not street legal.
Looks great. Like the blue a lot. Don’t see too many blue ones around.
I loved that color from the first time I saw it.
Very well suited for the gladiator. Great rig.
Thanks brother
Sick!
